So let us set some of this orchestration of lies, and rife speculations about the Vice President straight
1. Yes, the President in the exercise of his powers has formed a new Economic Advisory Council and replaced the Economic Management team otherwise led by his beloved VP. This is really a change in strategy and not a reduction of the statutory functions of the VP.
2. As the Chairman of the constitutionally created National Economic Council, the VP will continue to play a leading role in matters Economic in singular support and assistance of his Principal, Mr. President.
3. Only last Thursday the VP at the NEC meeting clarified that both NEC and the new EAC will interact.
4. On the issue of agencies under the VP, the truth is that NOTHING IS CHANGING & THERE ARE NO NEW DIRECTIVES. This is because nothing has gone wrong at all. A Presidency Statement already clarified this.
5. All the other stuff you read are all lies!
6. Let us review some of the lies so far. That the new presidential directives have effected the take over from VP his Chairmanship of NEMA, NDPHC? It is a lie. In fact on the same day NEC met last week, VP also presided over an NDPHC board meeting.
7. That there has been some kind of mismanagement of funds in agencies chaired by VP. There are wild speculations on this, but they are all FABRICATED without exception.
8. Specifically on the much nosed NEMA probe, the House of Representatives did not indict the VP. The report of the Committee is in the public.
The Committee said the VP, then Acting President did not seek appropriations for the money he approved to deal with the impending famine in the North-east.
9. But the Presidency issued a public statement to say, No, the money the Ag President approved for release in those dire emergency situation was sourced from the Rice Levy which HAD ALREADY BEEN APPROPRIATED in that year's budget. And that explanation settled the matter.
10. Why is it coming out now again? Desperate elements who just want to confuse those who are gullible. Please be above such fake news.
11. A new lie discovered is that some money was found in some private accounts related to VP family or that some FIRS funds were traced to VP'S office and that Asiwaju Tinubu and Baba Akande were informed of some financial scandals or that Asiwaju himself is behind the attempt to smear the VP. All of such sorts are grand LIES.
12. FINALLY, there is CERTAINLY a group of people within and outside government who want to attack the cordiality between the President and his constitutional deputy, the VP. So they are actively seeking to sow seeds of discord as some of them are afraid of what 2023 portends.

Am not saying they abandoned, am saying they adapted. Read the history of Japan bruv and see a very strict caste system of nobles class, warrior class(samurais) and commoners, which together with hatred of everything foreign kept them extremely backwards before being exposed to the rest of the world in the 19th century. This exposure collapsed their caste system and opened their eyes to their backwardness which they immediately set out to remedy so that they won a war against a more advanced Russia within a relatively short amount of time. What we need is adaptation and development which is already possible by our exposure to everything that the rest of the world have to offer, not blaming all our woes on foreign influence based on the popular myth that we were innocent people back in the day as tho the slaves the whites bought were not sold by Africans.

The Chinese are one of the most technologically advanced people on Earth. They did not nor ever needed to yield to European/ American imperialism. They got where they are on their own. Maybe you also dont know that the Chinese learnt bitter lessons about fighting against western influence on their culture during world war two when japan (who quickly adopted westernisation) almost wiped out their conservative asses (its like we refusing modernisation while boko haram uses the latest weapons)! Maybe you can point to a single Chinese technology which was invented independent of western civilisation's technological innovation.
My point is China has been an entity and a centre of civilisation as well as a melting point since at least around 200BC, yet they had to adapt modern technology in order to reach where they are today. Had it been they didn't, they would have succumbed to more advanced but smaller neighbors today who embraced it more willingly. I just imagine what we Africans would be today without westernisation! We would just be a giant safari continent to the rest of the world! Sel finit.

But I am sure you also understand my point. Nothing in history proves that the black man would not have advanced technologically had the whites and Arabs not interfered with our civilizations.

Am not saying we won't ever get there, but I'll have you know that much of Africa except for north Africa was at the stage that was equivalent to the European early middle ages/dark ages when the whites came. The scenario was similar: no well defined kingdoms, barbarian invasions, strong kingdoms raiding weaker ones for slaves, no written script (which is a very necessary ingredient for civilization) etc. Europe left that behind from around AD 1000. As for the Arabs, they've never had any desire to civilise anyone; all they've ever wanted is to get all that they can from the zanj slaves as they know the blacks to be and still do. It will interest you to know that Arabs exploited black Africa for hundreds of years for gold, ivory and slaves especially gold before the whites ever believed that Africa south of the sahara is populated by real humans instead of the dog like men who the Arab traders say are here in order to discourage European competition.
That being said, apart from the fact that we were about a millennium behind, human culture and technology have always been shared between different groups since humans started living on earth. The less always fades away for the better, eg stone tools versus metal tools, talking drum and smoke messages versus the social media we are using today. Cultures and religions and technologies were created by humans for human use, humans were not created by any of them hence their disposability!
