Syllaboi: [b]THIS IS THE STEPS I TOOK TO INSTALL CWMR FOR MY TM3

~~TOOLS~~
*mtkdroid_tools
*google adb-driver OR pdaNET for pc
* MTK device.. such as Tecno phone
*A Pc..

*all the software can be get through Google search!*
*Your phone must be rooted*

~~STEPS~~
1. Install ADB/PDAnet driver u dload. (PDAnet might require u to connect ur phone so make sure it is ready and activate USB debugging. When prompt for phone type, just select others nd follow d on-screen instructions.
2. After dat extract d MTKdroidtools den launch.... Now connect ur phone. It wld be detected.
3. Once detected, click on ROOT. Wait till d process finish, u will see a green dot at d bottom of d screen.
4. Den click on d button dat contains BOOT,RECOVERY etc at d top left(if it doesn't open automatically). On this page, tick on *use boot.img on phone* den click on *boot and recovery* button.
It wld start loading boot. Click yes to all d screen prompts until d process finish.
This is what i did to have my own cwmr. No backup made at all.

Run your installation CD and install Windows, just make sure you don't format your Drives, your old windows will automatically be moved to a folder called "Windows.old" and it will contain all your files intact. You can then move them to your new window. But you have to re-install your softwares.

Castos: Are u sure cos I just got my girl into subscribing for the 1500 plan yesterday and it's remaining 1.76g. Guy a beg be sure cos she'll kill me for this plus I just booked for Jan Glover when she comes back on 9th.

It's currently credited to ur sim, so it should work till it expires. To be on a safer side, you can subscribe to the 10mb to convert it to a normal data plan.

Thank you" pls oo, airtel should not oo, i stil hav 1.3G, how do use dat before dat time. Airtel please we beg, atleast let us use up our data first.

Don't get so tensed up, you should be able to use ur existing data after the said date.

For years, Airtel BB plans have not really been different from the normal data plans on the Airtel network (in the way it works), except for the higher data you get to receive when you subscribe to a BB plan, which works on all devices.

Well, things look set to change from 3rd Dec, 2013 when "Airtel BB plans will cease to work on non-BB devices". That was the content of a msg I got from Airtel less than 15mins ago. (Screenshot below).

This is what I call the final blow to Android users.
