It is well |
Brilliancepower:This is the crux of the matter. A woman cannot be disobedient, hard to teach, unnecessarily secretive, unduly selfish and expect me to feel like laying down on the same bed with you. With time a real man will loose any affection towards the woman. |
damkin24:Power for Power's sake and Power to effect positive change in the lives of people are two different motives. I don't care about Atiku but I know that out of many politicians in Nigeria Obi is a saint compared to many of them. |
spiSeyi:You sef dey laugh. Person wey buy the whole of FIFA last season na him una dey follow drag. |
That man will buy ALL the players available in the market...other teams will not even be enough to make up a team These ones pursue power for its sake and will stop at nothing to get what they want. Its all games to them. |
Tjra:Why tie yourself down to one when you can have anyone you want at any time. |
lailo:No be by force to talk...especially when you no get anything meaningful to say. |
emkz:Did he steal the money? Why would I make money and you come take 40 owr cent of it whereas i can keep it in a safer place where I pay nothing on it. What will you do? |
emkz:So he should not keep his money where it is safe and secure and will not be reduced to nothing. |
MORIERA:"Plot=$" |
Better late than never |
PressMyButton:Because he is always rolling with bad children. |
Firebox123:If he goes to Arsenal...he will. ...from a Chelsea fan . |
Based on all the drama, wetin i dey suspect na say single lady to collect 180 million dollar contract from a sitting governor in nigeria... somebody son go don enter all the nooks and corners of the great canyon. Maybe the baba wanted to continue from where they stopped while madame dey feel sey she has paid her dues already and should be left alone now that she is married and has no desire to be rubbing bald head and protruding tommy and prefers younger guys with six packs. Baba no wan gree and apply political pressure. Madame dey stubborn and wan show baba sey she don mature inside life. The two of them will be alright las las. Dem no dey put mouth for man and woman matter. |
Dzzzz:We are on the same page then. In fact he jumped on the bandwagon of the trend. All those Snoop and Akon had not had any hits for several years and used Afrobeat to stay relevant. His statement really triggered me. Let him respect himself . Naija Hip Hop was renamed Afrobeats in the Davido and Burna Boy era but it's been banging since Tuface and Remedies around 96,97, 98. But the very beginning of Naija Hip Hop was with Junior and Pretty around 93-94 with songs like Monica and Bolanle . No be today. Akon should take several seats back |
Dzzzz:Akon should shut up. He said he created Afrobeats that is a false. Plain and simple. Promoting something is different from creating it. He said he developed Dbanj and Psquare. Is he crazy? Guys that were already global artistes before they met him. Naija Hip Hop music growth was organic. 1. First the Nigerian government made a law that prompted more of local content than foreign on media stations...getting airplay was vital for any musician to sell records. 2. Funds became available for boys to buy recording equipment and make their own music instead of everybody jostling to sign a contract with Kennis Music. 3. The Internet and streaming platforms made music available digitally and more accessible instead of having to buy the CD of an artiste that you heard on radio. 4. As the music became more accessible globally it became more popular because the sound was good. Then the Gen Z crowd of non Nigerians and Africans were more open minded than their parents as well. 5. The Davido factor. The son of a billionaire with decent music will be listened to... he has ALL the resources to invest into promoting his music. And that boy promoted his songs like mad. Boots on the ground and relating with DJ'S and OAP to get airplay in the USA. Anything were popular for US must go global. 6. I dont know who renamed Nigeria Hip hop as Afrobeats but it was a very recent christening of about 6 to 7 years after the music went global and the market needed a name to term music from. I guess it was meant to mean African Beats as a distinctive form. It started with them Davido and Burnaboy era. Olamide, Tuface, 9ice, Ruggedman were definitely not calling their music Afrobeats. Ghana and Nigerians are brothers. A lot of early Nigerian musicians were heavily influenced by Ghanian highlife and respect is due...and so Ghanian Hip Hop is also Afrobeat. I still remember listening to Dr Pohs " na who cause am ". In 2008 when I was in Kano. |
Kog45:The logic is simple. If DJ' s play your songs in the clubs and On air on tv and radio, you get more exposure and more hears will listen to it and then can get to know the artist. You can't fall un love with a sound you have never hear and wont hear if it's not introduced to you. The question is could Davido afford to gift 200 iphones to promote his music and break into a market that is closed off and seen as competition |
Person wey like this kain thing. |
Shey na statistics we go chop?... na him our oga talk that year ooo |
Dennisochampa:People like you should never go any where near power. You will kill everybody within a year. If the country was good to it's citizens will they complain bitterly. Kidnappings, ritual killings, organ trafficking, herdsmen killing farmers, terrorism , food shortages and high cost of living, perpetual power outages and bad roads are all legitimate reasons to complain. |
alimiadedayo1:As at 2014, the African song that was well known in USA was Tuface's African Queen. The Afrobeats popularity on the scale it is is today is a combination of the heavy unknown groundwork of Davido on the streets of USA, proliferation and popularity of streaming and social media platforms and the sheer volume and quality of the sounds themselves...and then signing on to the major US record labels that can push songs and sign you up for shows. As at 2014, Wizkid and Davido no dey popular for USA. Shebi na song wey dem play for Radio Station or Clubs dem go hear in the first place. I am not a Davido fan but that buy gifted so many DJ'S and OAP the latest Iphones of that any year to promote songs. Even the Government directive to radio and tv stations to play local content more than foreign content laid a solid foundation that anything could be built upon. As at 11 years ago, nobody sabi wizkid and davido beyond African populace for US. |
That Davido of a boy did more for the promotion of Afrobeats in the western world than anybody else. Davido was buying the latest iPhone for air. club DJ's and Radio DJ's nationwide to play his songs in clubs and on air. As more people heard, the music spread and the curiosity became an obsession for Nigerian hip-hop...because that was what we called the music until about 2018-2019. He really put in the underground leg work. And once that ceiling was broken...theyball started selling out large arenas compared to the Nigerian nite clubs and small venues that they used to play in when they performed abroad. Wizkid was already an international superstar when Akon had a deal with him. The NCC legislation that placed a prioty for local content on media stations, the proliferation of the internet, the advent of monetized online music streaming platforms and available funds for a lot of young creative guys to buy studio recording equipment to make music instead of relying on Kennis Music and a very few others for a contract are factors that all contributed in different ways to make the music popular. As for Akon, he jumped on a steady moving train, he did not start the train. He did not create Nigerian Hip Hop now known as Afrobeats . The likes of Junior and Pretty, of the early 90's Remedies of the late 90's were some of the early pioneers of this Afrobeats known then as Naija Hip Hop. Juju, Highlife,Fuji, Apala, Waka,Raeggae and Fela's original Afrobeats were the mainstream music genres available before the advent of Naija Hip Hop. I'll suggest and I believe that it is in use already to call the genre "Afro-Pop" to eliminate the confusion and preserve the legacy of Fela's Afrobeat. |
Checkwell:Can you provide a list of action items for her as a private citizen to make her country a place where others travel to. |
Biodun556:Yes. They will demolish the entire place. Them for just dey live their live jejely. |
SpreshMan:In the US states like Georgia, Texas and Arizona may not see snow for 3 years. |
The key is to keep bettering yourself educationally, physically , mentally ,emotionally , socially and financially...always keep growing. Always stay ahead and she will respect you. A woman can not love a man that she does not respect. Be gentle and kind but make sure that she knows that you have a happy life that will continue wether she is in it or not...and that you are willing to loose everything and start all over again without drowning. If not...the system supports them to show you pepper. |
The first week I landed in western world, it was very sunny and yet the temperature was very cold at the same time.. I remember running back inside.. that was about 13 years ago. Now I dey used to am. The key is dressing appropriately. There are undergarments , jeans, shoes , socks and jackets specifically for the varying degrees of coldness for winter. If you are not dressed appropriately, for that particular level of coldness, you will suffer. |
2mch:Don't talk about what you have not experienced before. If you like be present in 500 childbirth, if your woman no get good character na manage you go still dey manage am. The ancient midwives wey no dey allow men dey present know wetin dem dey do. Besides there is something off about an witnessing his wife open her legs wide with like 6 total strangers present. It actually subtracts from her mystique. The whole idea is foolish and of no merit to the marriage and is a product if all these modern feminist jargons. |
tasalanoni:A respectful person does not need such scenes at all. I've been there at least 3 times. I see it as a waste of time. My treatment of you is dependent on your current behavior |
2mch:It actually does not. In fact it removes the allure and mystique of the pathway overtime as the image of its expansion is seared in your mind and you will start developing a preference for ladies that have never given birth. A respectful person does not need to see the needless to bond in any way. |
It is a good humbling experience for all of them. |
