Team “talk to the child” will tell you the rod is too harsh for kids.

Kid that they should have used frequent resetting to shape his life.
Proverbs 22: 5 says it all.

Another key thing is to be good examples to them. Whatever you do, your children will mirror it and take it to a higher level than you.

You want them to read, let them see you reading. You want them to clean, let them see you cleaning and involve them.

One of my kids who is a toddler was in the habit of throwing stuff at me whenever he wants to give it to me... it was only lately that it dawned on me that i used to throw his clothes and candies at him to catch.

You want good behaviour from.your child? Be a good example for the child to follow.

They will imitate you to the bone.

Spare the rod and spoil the child.

When kids are young, that is when you can teach them anything. Once a child is twelve, its already too late.

Dumb Nigerians
What is the implication of having six centres in a country that claims to be poor and can't afford supporting the poor
How does having decentralised NCAT improve the living conditions of the average Nigerian
Nigerians need to get their priorities right
You are quite slow.

It means six times more people can get the needed skills and training to become gainfully employed wether locally or internationally.

It means citizens of other regions can have equal access to education and employment in an industry that was an obvious monopoly before now.

Also establishing those schools lead to direct and indirect employment of six times more people either as staff or supporting businesses in the vicinity.

Replicating this move in many of tge vital sectors will do a lot to quell the agitation of marginalization that has plagued the country for decades.

It will also instill meritocracy a bit since the regions will likely put up their best candidates into those places instead of one dullard from one village getting in at the expense of brighter candidates from other places simply because he is connected.

It is a T-mobile network Sim...and if the line itself is still active it can make calls.

If you want to see the phone number of the Sim, go the the about phone section in your settings. The number will be somewhere there.

He is not gay...

only because the opportunity has not presented itself.

But for sure, he is in touch with his inner femininity.

Like anything close to it, plaiting hair by men only became mainstream recently just like the lifestyle of Bobrisky, sagging, LGBTQ+. It is a personal choice and the least they could do is admit that they fancy other men. It is an era.

Everyone has the right to appear whichever way pleases him in public. Sane people also enjoy the inalienable right to judge the misfits. Don't let American propaganda deceive you. You are in Nigeria. cool

There are a lot of men in touch with their feminine side ooo. If the opportunity presents itself they would flip.

Himosexuality began to be prevalent among the black male American population when many due to two factors.

When they began to go to prison in large numbers, before they come back home after years if incarceration, hand don touch them for prison and when they come back home they continue the lifestyle.

Also, a lot of these guys had absent fathers and wete raised by their single mothers and many are very effeminate in spite of their macho looks.

So all those femininity seeps through music, fashion and sports for others around the world to imitate.

Before you know, from clap dem done enter dance. Some guys swing both ways so no go imagine sey because him get girlfriend, he is not receiving.

I know of one guy from Lagos that married a lady and had a child, left both of them in Lagos. He has been in the US and living the rainbow life...with zero intention to bring the wife over.

He should take it if they're willing to be patient with him
It's tempting but a hard choice.

He has a secure job as the technical director of the NFF. If he takes up this foreign offer with Ghana he would have to relinquish the Technical Director role.

Unless the money is really really good and he goes on extended sabbatical with the NFF, it's going to be hard for him to take it up.

We shall see.

I think I agree...based on my interactions with some old and new friends.

I also think it's not just the Igbos, it's a common African thing.

Very very very few Christians do not employ traditional means to deal with life challenges. Most do so codedly or by proxy.

In this boy's case though, na too much chasing of Nigerian Instagram models and actresses na him finish am.

Victor Oshimen is an outlier though. That boy is driven by something more intense than money.
PoliticsRe: Are Nigerians(japa) The Reason For Canada Universities And Colleges On Strike ? by otipoju(m): 11:51am On Jan 08, 2025
toboizilla:
Since the Canadian government reduced the number of international students entering the country, universities and colleges in Canada have responded swiftly by cutting staff and workers. The decline in international student enrolment has forced institutions to downsize, as they heavily rely on these students for revenue. (Nigerians—no longer parking all their Naira and devaluing their currency to build their taskmasters' schools—are particularly affected by this shift.)

Canadian universities and colleges are also grappling with faculty strikes, declining enrolment, and financial challenges. Faculty unions, such as Ontario's OPSEU, have raised concerns about job insecurity, with 75% of faculty working on short-term contracts. Strikes loom as institutions face funding shortfalls.

The federal cap on international student enrolment, coupled with waning interest, has led to a sharp decline—up to 50% for some colleges. This revenue loss has forced difficult decisions, such as Conestoga College offering early retirements to 160 employees in late 2024.

Canadian universities have long depended on international students for survival. With tuition fees of around $20,000 for international students compared to $3,000 or less for domestic students, the disparity highlights how international enrolment props up the system. The current strikes and staff reductions underscore the fragility of this model and the urgent need for systemic solutions to stabilize funding and protect education quality.

To Nigerians and other international students, this situation serves as a reminder: invest in building your own economy rather than exhausting your life savings to sustain others'. It’s time to prioritize long-term self-reliance over becoming perpetual contributors to foreign economies.
Well said.

constancefriday:
That's not true. Motivational speech is not designed to encourage sin or living a reckless lifestyle. In motivational science, "discipline" is one of our most powerful messages.

"If 1 year of discipline can give you 10 years of success and progress, how many years of discipline would you need to have an entire lifetime full of success and progress?"
Motivational speech can not convict a man of sin.
Motivational speech does not introduce anyone to the Holy Spirit.
Motivational speech is not evil but it is not the words of God.

Christianity is not about strategies to having a lifetime of success. It is about drawing closer to God , worshipping him, making his will your priority, and living a life of purity and charity...and loosing the bonds of the oppressed.

Christianity EtcRe: JOSEPHUS 72AD DESCRIPTION OF JESUS CHRIST by otipoju(m): 9:56am On Jan 05, 2025
No where in the bible or anywhere has the claim been made that Jesus was a Caucasian. White Male.

Arabs, Iranians, Kurds, Persians, Turks, Druze, Arameans and all other tribes and nations in the middle east all have a similar complexion.

Abraham himself the Patriarch of the Jews was born Ur of the Chaldees in modern day Iraq.

In Deuteronomy 26 vs 5, Abrahams grandson Jacob, the progenitor of the Israelites was described as a wandering Aramean. The nation called Aramea in those times came to be known as Syria even in old testament times till today.

Why would the Jews whose ancient language was Aramaic, who are descendants of Abraham who was a Syrian born in Iraq be different from them and be black. If their ancestors were not black.

Isaac a son of Abraham is considered as the father of the Arabs. Arabs are not black so why should Jews be black.

Another popular descendant of Abraham the Syrian is Esau his grandson and brother of Jacob. Esau is the progenitor of the Edomites and they were certainly not black and they occupied modern country of Jordan.

Their mother Sarah too was not black as she too was a step sister to Abraham her husband. Rebekah, Rachel, Leah, were also Syrians as they were all descendants of Terah Abraham's father.

Abraham's nephew Lot was the ancestor of the Moabites and Ammonites . The Ammonites capital city was Rabbah in modern day Amman in the country Jordan.

Except you can prove to me that Syrians, Iraqi, Arabs , and the other Semitic tribes are all blacks then there is no reason why the Jews who lived in the same area and have a common ancestry and look like them today should be said to be black.

I am yet to see anyone provide a good arguement for the black skin of Jesus.

Jews lived in Egypt for 400 years and there have always been blacks living in the middle east as free men and as captured slaves. Jesus himself lived in Egypt from infancy till an undisclosed amount of time.

But the genealogy of Jesus proves that he was a Semite. Semitic are not black. Period.
