The post is very true... Sometimes some of us ladies would be labelling men trash because we'd be in denial of the fact that we have a trashy taste in men.

I have this one sister who hasn't been lucky in relationships to a point that the family started looking down on her and regarded her as the black sheep of the family for being in multiple failed relationships... She lied to the guy about her monthly salary and immediately they got engaged, she asked me to open a second savings account from another bank so that every month she could deposit a certain amount from her monthly salary into the account just so the guy can continue giving her that monthly allowance... If it happens that she wants something and the guy is short of cash, she'd then ask me to sent her a certain amount from that same account, so it can seem as if I'm the one who borrowed her the money because the account was registered in my personal details... I tried talking her out of it, but she wouldn't take a no for an answer.

When the guy asks her where she got the money, she'd lie by telling him that she borrowed it from me knowing very well that the guy would start feeling bad and looking for a way to repay me, but the truth is that, that money never gets to me... She'll spent it on herself... Now the guy recently bought a new car and my sister is already planning on manipulating him into giving her the car.

Sit your sister down and tell her the cold hard truth and tell her you will tell the husband if she does not stop.

Stop aiding bad behaviour. If that man finds out that you are complicit in your sister's schemings...he will loathe you for it.

I get you. But for me as long as the engine is running, it has not failed in my own opinion. Before it fails it would have given you "check engine " signal so you can diagnose and fix the problem...and deoending on what it is, it can be driven for a long or short time but at the risk of escalating the damage and destroying the engine.

I once had a similar issue but with a Toyota corolla.

The issue turned out to be a weak dying battery and a damaged voltage regulator.
Once those were changed the car was fine.

This is the most likely cause. I. Surprised all the experts here did not mention this.

M suggestion is for you to get a OBD portable scanner like FIXD and run a diagnosis so it tells you what the problem is and what to do to fix it instead of the guess work.

Better quality of life in terms of the essentials

Quality roads, medical care, education system, power supply, water supply, recreational facilities, employment opportunities, earning power, security, civil service interactions, and so on.

So understand why it is that way for many.

No be say you go build house finish, one government go just come clear am with bulldozer. Or you go dey find fuel for generator up and down every week.

Personally, don't see it as an achievement to be boastful of, it is rather humbling for me in the sense that if Nigeria was in order and had the basics of power, good roads , good hospitals, pipe borne water , good security and recreational facilities, I would rather live in my Lagos jejely able to see my childhood friends from time to time and speak my language every time.

Abroad can be lonely ooo...especially when you grew up in a city like Lagos and you work a remote job from home and dont go clubbing at all.

For my whole street I fit no see my neighbor for one month. In fact apart from the houses directly in front and on both sides of mine, I don't know who lives and have never seen those who live in the remaining 30 houses in 10 years now.

If not for ball wey I dey play with other Nigerians every weekend and church on Sundays, I for no dey speak Yoruba at all.

Everybody dey mind their own business and with time you get used to it. You can't just say make I go knock sey I want greet you...after a while you sef go dey reluctant to allow anybody enter your house.

Still I have zero regrets.
