He should be fined.

i am not surprised, the method of selection is very subjective.

after the coach, i'd give it to pirlo.

it was very unprofessional for a player like zidane.

deja vu; what goes round, sure comes round. after sending brazil and portugal away on penalties, it was only natural that they leave the same way.

congrats italy - true champions of the world.

by the way all of the players and the coaches of italy are home based; i think we could learn from that.

treating your bible like you treat ur cellphone wont amount to anything of eternal value. You will be better of meditating and storing up the word of God in your memory to build up your faith. Storing and memorizing verses of the bible without thinking of them and applying them to situations is a waste of your time.

Lets not mix up issues here. Italian silva berlusconi is i hope someone i'd equate to ibrahim jimoh or even adenuga or the late abiola. This are people who were first know for their business acumen before they entered into politics. The like of the Ibru family in Nigeria is also a case in point. And the beauty of this is that they know how to separate their lives as politicians and then as businessmen. Ibrahim Jimoh tried politics ones and failed, then he was into Oil distribution and sales business, now he has added insurance and is trying to enter into the aviation industry. If he is President tomorrow, he might draft policies like import restriction to enhance his numerous business interests and as long as it does not kill the common man like the war in iraq is doing to them americans there it will be in order; of course following the due process which means getting the acceptance of the legislature.

@ Nutter; i did say that one Mr. Ibrahim Jimoh using a corporate outfit bought over NICON insurance. NICON-NOGA is owned by transcorp. I hope that point is taken.

In every Corporation there is the majority shareholder, I wonder who we will see when and if transcorp is unveiled. If some government officials are now using insider information to float a company and buy up our heritage only to turn around and say they are doing it for the good of Nigeria through selling of minority stocks then there is a problem.

Transcorp has not yet paid the reserve price so lets not put the cart before the horse. I will like us to take note of what is happening to INTELS now. If a government that is hostile to some perceived politicians should take over in the next republic then I am afraid for the future of Transcorp. Political patronage might not succeed in Nigeria as it does in the US because we have a lot of intellectual saprophytes.

@Nutter

why should i take note? what have to do with this?

@kitaun; which one be france holy ghost fire?

both coaches are very tactical but it will be down to the players to carry out the instructions with personal flair. Portugal is really no match for the firepower of the french attack and defence. I am yet to see a team win a game with good midfield play. I'd like portugal to win so that italy will have a good chance of getting the cup but I must give it to France at the end of today.

Both teams were tired and the germans lost concentration at the most critical point and like in the game against australia, i never got to see the ref blow the final whistle. It appears that the element of resignation is being introduced into our soccer games.

Yes o, transcorp has just bought NITEL for $750 million.

what is going on here?

Germany 2 Italy 1; what time is the match? Nigerian Time

france should win this one but i don't know the margin.

my phone(s) are assets, keeping in touch by the minute is something required by my lifestyle.

is Mr. Lucky Igbenedion really that terrible? how did he win a second term then? I am ashamed for Edo people o

that Mr. Pat Utomi will make a "better" president is quite debatable but lets hold it constant.
can he win an election in nigeria that is always fraught with numerous irregularities? that is the question.

sug week starts today

Jesus was not married and he did not fake his death

i agree with otolorin.

brazil was completely disorientated. At times i had to look at the scoreline to convince myself that they were the ones loosing because there was no urgency in their game play until robinho came in. Infact the coach just kept doing everything wrong I became convinced that the gods must have been offended. I tip either france or germany to win the cup.

don't be deceived, by the time the bankers do their compounding of the money you intend to deposit; you will discover its not worth a candle. If you like fix 10 million in any bank, you will make more money using that money to sell MTN recharge cards.

am with hola2ng.
