When officers start grumbling kos of "perceived" injustices like this then it's really time to effect changes... It is quite lame to say that bkos we're in a state of war, there should be no changes.. Even gowon did so during the war in 1969 in the aftermath of operation OAU in which the biafran southern command neutralized the offensives of the third division, causing it to loss almost 90% of its preoffensive strength. Gowon changed the commanders of the three armies fighting Biafra, making the war end early the next year.
Buhari should keep his nepotistic tendencies aside and change those men, to forestall a situation where a coup/mutiny happens or that soldiers refuse to fight and the enemy sweeps down to capture Abuja.
Gaskiya!
How can you compare Gowon and Buhari?

You can see the kids of a Nigerian politician. See how fresh and far removed they are from the issues plaguing this country.

You all will gather on social media to fight over and defend their ills, while living and dying in the penury they have joined hands to create.
God bless you, see as that environment is so clean and the pictures so clear whereas in Nigeria, filth everywhere.

Hello sir, if admission is done by state, as you have said, how come an Abian with a lower aggregate has been admitted and a deltan with a higher aggregate and also within the south south region has not been admitted? I'm just lost
Catchment principle says as much as you can take equal number of candidates from each state so for example if its 3 per available states, and Delta has 6 people that scored 9/10 and Abia has 3 people that scored 5/10 then all the Abians will be taken and only 3 of the Deltans will be taken, hope you understand now?

Hello, sir otokx, I was directed here by someone you guided last year. I have an aggregate of 276 for medicine and surgery but not yet admitted. I'm from delta state. Someone with an aggregate of 273 from Abia state was admitted yesterday for medicine. I'm really disturbed sir. What can I do?
You better go and buy basic form, admission is done by state as you know and Deltans like to score very well. As it stands there are even some Deltans with higher aggregate scores than you who are not admitted.
Politics › Re: Dickson Attacks Wike, Says Bayelsa Not 'annex Of Rivers' by otokx(m): 8:05am On Dec 23, 2019
If Bayelsans can develop Yenagoa, Sagbama, Kaiama and even Odi, there will not be any need for them to stay in Port Harcourt and work in Bayelsa. These towns and others are not totally in water and have link roads.

On the other hand, the ijaws, abuas and some other ethnic nationalities of Rivers State who have affinity with Bayelsa should be wise. There are areas of Rivers State you have to first go to Bayelsa before you can access them, real riverine areas long forgotten by Rivers State government despite the fact that they have oil.

In all of this I salute the political acumen of the Ikwerres, they plotted their graph so well, its back to back to back to back.
Health › Re: 4 UNIPORT Teaching Hospital Nurses Die In Six Months, Staff Blame Workload by otokx(m):
You see Nigerians whose real age is 55 but in paper they will be claiming 35. When you ask them to do a certain task it is then you will know the truth.

The workforce is always large in payroll but on the ground is scanty. The dodgers and absentees are many.

The mgt in Nigeria will provide funds and the middle supervisors use it for something else worse still the mgt themselves divert it.

Is it not the same UPTH that one goes and has to buy all the consumables despite paying for dressing. The last time we went, the "young" matron fell asleep while dressing a post surgery wound.

This matron insists only her must do the dressing and everyone pays 500 naira to her. The first time my doctor friend ~ a senior resident surgeon did the dressing, the nurses almost ate him raw that its their jurisdiction meanwhile he did it so well.

It appears this senior old nurse must have gone for night vigil hence her sleeping on the job. Nobody told us to buy the kit from the pharmacy and do the dressing ourselves afterwards.

Meanwhile there is an abundance of student doctors, pharmacists, nurses. records staff so it even reduces the stress.

What UPTH needs is massive infrastructure and provision of consumables and drugs.

Meanwhile UPTH and indeed other teaching hospitals, Primary Health Centres, Universities, etc are a mirror reflection of the Nigerian society.

My mom works in as a nurse in a PHC. She works as a nurse, a doctor, a gardener, a statistician, a ward orderly and all. Na only God dey sustain her plus the love she has for her job. She doesn't rest at all. She has no 'off' days and even when she comes back home to rest after a hard day, patients still troop in to my family compound for one problem or the other.

Nigeria is messed up, Okowa said if they are not ready to work they should resign instead of assigning more hands to them. It's not easy o.
If you check the records, there is indeed a statistician, a gardener, a ward orderly, etc who draw salary from the government but are permanently absent from work so Okowa is not the bad guy. Once they say do biometric head count for salary they will all appear. Nigeria being messed up starts from all of us, tell your mom to stop doing other peoples work and save her health. Tell me too to do the same.

In Nigeria, those that work really work but there are some who do not work; always have a reason to dodge but receive salary.
