I am speaking for the man out there too scared to talk. My brother people are finding it hard to survive. I get loads of e.mails, calls and text messages every single day from total strangers and I hear the same cry of poverty and starvation. Currently trying to persuade 3 people not to commit suicide. One is from that useless man's state. I actually have an entirely different and radical view to this tithing matter but lets allow Goshen360 to martial out his points first. The real problem though is not the tithing or not per se but the way and means the whole thing is going about which is by the way a reflection of the greater Nigerian society which holds nobody accountable for any thing.

some people are just being lazy minded superstitious.

after going online to fill the clearance eligibility form the next step is to pay school fees at the bank, after paying school fees at the bank you wait for the information to be transfered to your ecampus portal so that other forms can be activated which you will fill and go to have them validated at the security dept, a magistrate court, admissions office, health center for your medicals, ges unit, and finally faculty, may have skipped one or two other units. As as of this minute no body has been able to pay school fees so how can the physical clearance have started?

I've personally never been inside a Christ Embassy church (and I don't intend to) but I was once in the pastorate of another local church, and a friend who pastored at CEC told me the above, this was why I said it confidently earlier on in the thread. I'm glad to get a witness that I was not lied to.

Another thing I was told is that CEC members are instructed not to attend other churches lest their hearts be poisoned by adulterated word. That made me sad but I guess that's discussion for another day.

My eyes have seen CEC student members who could not even eat yet they contributed to that rhapsody business, each time someone walks up to me on the street to give me a "free" copy and of course collect my address i just give him the hand like sssssh and go away.

The one wey tire me pass na the honorarium and sitting allowance; so after they have eating and are using toothpick to arrange their teeth, brown envelope will now be shared amongst them for a job well done? Chai
