You can try either of the universities or the popular rumokuta/rumuola axis |
MTN Simple Surf: My story I live in California and was in Nigeria last year for about 9 months on business trip. Left in December and came back in March this year. I am saying that to let you know that i have something to compare Nigeria network to. I revolve between ibadan (Oyo) Lagos and Ijebu Ode (Ogun State). My business depends mostly on the internet stuff. i buy and bid (live) for cars online. So data cap and speed is very crucial to me. I have tried mostly all available networks: Glo, Multilinks, Etisalat, Starcomms, etc. Different ones are good in different areas. Multilinks is better (then) in Ogun. Starcomms in Lagos/ibadan and Etisalat. The issue i have with Etisalat when i came back this March is the data limit. i went thru 250mb (N1,000) in few hrs nightly. I tried the Simple surf and its has been great in ALL my areas. Ogun, Oyo and Lagos. I have even watched video online and make calls to the US over the net (especially late at night) from my flat in Ibadan. If there is a problem or a cap on the simple surf, i am yet to see it. There have been slow connections sometimes and just yesterday, the connection kept logging off everytime i log on. i just took out my multilinks modem and finish the job. Hours later, its fine i can only call it like i see it. i have no loyalty to any network but the one that's good to me. By the way, i use glo for all my calls cos they charge N9/min to call the US. MTN charges a LOT. Criticism should be based on PERSONAL experience. Thanks
nice |
other parties do the same |
Let the games begin |
looks like the nays have it. |
There are always 2 sides to a story but we can all learn a thing or 2 from this narration. Kudos to such posters as daintytara, felifeli and 2 others - nice contribution. |
When everybody is traveling to God knows where at the same time, what do you expect? |
looks like the matter has been referred to the school governing council |
if you do not allow people to pass through the front door then the back door will not be a bad idea. |
Doubts have begun to enter my mind; the mentality of the people is so bad. |
This is good riddance to bad rubbish |

So what is our business with the death of a man in Malawi; will that bring about 24/7 hours electricity in Nigeria via public utility? |
The minister of education had no business announcing the suspension of courses as that is under the jurisdiction of the NUC. Its saying the right thing in the wrong way - in the end its the system that is ridiculed. All potential JAMBITES should take note of the situation and leave that university alone especially the affected courses or you will enter what we call one chance. |
There are always two sides to the story |
How does this concern us? |
Please stop wasting your time |
if she did not cheat then congrats to her but how come she is already admitted? There is something to this story. |
That more women attend church and shout AMEN does not mean they are more religious. |
is there no tax component to this? |
@all every bank like human beings have their bad day so you cannot say this is bad or that is good. I went into a branch of access bank (formerly intercontinental bank) near me to pay in some cash. To enter was easy but the crowd to collect money at the counter was massive and 2 people were paying. There was another crowd at the customer help desk and 2 people were attending to them, lo and behold another crowd at the pay in side, only 1 person attending so i turned to go around and head to the UBA branch next door, alas my friend who i hear is now the most senior in that branch. He asked me to fill the teller and drop the cash with him, that it will be done later this was 1pm Getting next door to the notorious UBA it was so calm, the air conditioners were working and the big space gave one a sense of relief, they have a teller dedicated to staff upstairs so filled my teller and did the transaction not more than 5 minutes. The first sms i got about either transaction was from Access bank by 4.20pm or so as usual they only said so and so amount was paid in and failed to give the balance. UBA's own which was posted in front of me came about 7.30pm with how much was withdrawn and the balance. |
Idango: Im a costmer of firstbank and i want to tell you a few things you dont know:do you know how much they charge for all these services? Do they pay per month or per transaction? |
so much hot air, nothing is happening. |
The minister of education should finish what she has started and shine her torchlight on all universities running unaccredited programs. |
How is UNIPORT doing? |

One picture is not enough to draw a conclusion on this matter. |
It is not advisable for anybody to engage in night travel; dunno how many times one would have to shout this same thing. |
