Its a free country but please try and recreate the context, is it social or official? Some people i know do not pick unidentified calls as long as its not in their phone book. One guy complained that i did not pick his call today and i replied that i have 5 lines; when he took the argument further that at least i saw the missed call i mumbled something but did stopped short of an apology. He got the message that his calls are no longer welcome and in any case he has not called ever since.

Thank you for that insightful observation; some Nigerian graduates cannot express themselves either in English or even their local dialect. Very simple questions like mother's maiden name will cause them to start sweating. They do not know how to build premises and conclusions when they embark on discussions.
