Hello,

It will be better you specify the details of the jobs you advertised here. Specifics like qualifications and skills required, location of te job, deadline for application, email or postal address to send applications, etc.

It will help us to know how to go about it.

RomanceRe: Why Do Girls Avoid/Ignore Me? It Is Impossible To Get A Date! by otuonye(m): 7:41pm On Apr 06, 2007
Wait a minute!

Did I hear you say Ca -aa - "Candada"? If you can't find anyone over there, bro just come down here to Lagos or PH. They will be flocking all around you like bees around honey.

I knew this when my friend lost his girlfriend to one "OPPRESSOR" who just came back from Jand.

I understand what everyone is saying here. It's OK. I have decided not to bother myself on this issue again. Afterall, it is not my life to live. If Chinedu decides that it is the way he wants to live his life, that's his choice.

But honestly, I think he is making a serious mistake because I do not know whether this lady loves him as much he does. If Love is not mutual, it may fade away easily. Besides, I think it is better I have a woman who loved me when I was 'Nothing' than run to woman who is likely to love me for what I am right now. He is in the United States right now, and I wonder if all the beautiful 'untouched' women over there have finished, for him to come back to Naija because of this lady who rejected in 2004.

Furthermore, one more thing that bothers me is this: What happens to the baby this lady had in her previous marriage? I do not know if it will be right for my cousin to take responsibility for another man's seed.

Anyway, all the things I have said here are my personal findings. I am not going to bother him again on this issue. I wish him the best of luck. If he succeeds, 'GOODLUCK', but if he does not, please tell him that 'I WILL BE VERY ANGRY WITH HIM'.

PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Militants Kidnap 8 Highway Workers by otuonye(m): 4:41pm On Mar 24, 2007
This is horrendous! I do not think that the people in the Niger Delta region are well - informed about the ways to get their problems resolved. Honestly, I feel the plight of the people in this region of the country.

If you have not visited the Niger Delta region [especially remote villages in Bayelsa, Rivers and Delta states], you would be saying that they are very stupid. I do not think that they are stupid.

The Government has obviously and clearly neglected the people in this area and left the area undeveloped. It becomes so annoying when you learn that over 80% of our economy depends on the extraction of the mineral resources from that area.

However, I think the 'Table' still remains the best way to resolve any kind of conflicts. So, I am appealing to the people of the Niger Delta to forgive Nigerian leaders for an inexcusable and deliberate neglect of their area, yet find better ways to get the govenment understand and repond to their plight.

cute-ass:
@ otuonye

it is such a good thing that you're looking out for your cousin, but if you're not careful you might end up loosing him forever sad

You've made your point clear, but if he's still bent on marrying her, then you might just have to step aside. He is an adult capable of making his own decisions, even if the decisions seems wrong to someone else. Its his life to live and you've done your part as a passer-by wink

Now what scares me is the fact that this lady might not love him as much as he loves her, afterall she did choose someone else over him, but it might be true that she didn't get married to him then for the reason your aunt gave, but that's something time will tell.

I've always believed that everything happens for a reason, could it be that they were actually meant to be? noone knows smiley , only time will tell cheesy

But for the time being give him your 100% support now that he needs it most, be there for him even though you don't like his decision, you might later find out it wasn't a bad idea afterall wink
Well, you have spoken well, cute-ass, but I still have my reservations on this. I have decided to calm down and watch them. If it works out for them, then it is ok, but if not, I will be very angry with him and he knows it.
RomanceRe: After She Tests Positive To HIV: Would You Still Marry Her? by otuonye(m): 8:03pm On Mar 22, 2007
Douzy,

I do. Let me let u understand where I am coming from. What's the difference between sin & death? HIV leads to AIDS. So, what's the big deal. Honestly, I do not think it would be advisable for me to still relate with this person sexually [knowing the health consequences], but I can still show her love and support.

But as for MARRIAGE? NO WAY.

Meanwhile, what is your full name? Your screen name reminds me of one classmate I used to have who now resides in Abuja. His name is Dozie Esemonu. Could you be the one?

I do not think that I will look down on any babe that toasts me. As a matter of fact, I have been in such a situation before. 3 ladies have [at different occasions] done that. However, the only problem was the ladies were not my type, but I did not lookd down on any of them. I still responded to the respectfully.

In fact, I like such women because it gives me the feeling that they are of the bold breed. I like the BOLD and BEAUTIFUL women.

RomanceRe: Guyz-can You Marry A Lady Older Than You? by otuonye(m): 11:55pm On Mar 21, 2007
My people,

Honestly, I do not think I can marry a girl younger than I am. I have tried to be with the younger girls around but he kind of response I get is so annoying. And besides, there is thing about the older gals, they are kind of 'more matured'.

They not frequently asking the 'Whys?' and they are very loving maybe because they think they have something to lose. Honestly, I think I find myself more in love with older girls. However, the question is: Are the ladies ready to marry guys younger than they are? I have found out that the ladies are not ready to even marry younger guys.

Somehow, we have to find a way to balance the equation,

RomanceMy Cousin Wants To Marry A Widow. Is It Right? by otuonye(op): 1:04pm On Mar 21, 2007
Hello All,

I have a problem with cousin of mine. His name is Chinedu. The problem is that there was this lady that he claimed he loved so much [about 2 years ago]. He asked this lady to marry him 2 years ago, but after much much, the lady got married to another guy and had a girl-child. Now, the guy [her husband] died last November and has been buried.

The worst part of this story is that Chinedu, my brother is now well-to-do, and has still gone back to this lady, asking her to marry him.

I want to know what you people feel about this! I think my cousin is very stupid. If this girl liked him 2 years back, she would have married him, then why is he going back to her now.

My aunty [his mother], says otherwise. She supports her son in getting married to this lady, because [according to her, Chinedu was not too capable of raising a family 2 years back, that was why the girl did not marry him]. Therefore, now that he is financially stable, he can go back to the girl he really wants and get married to her.

Please you people should respond because I do not want Chinedu to marry her. Tell me the steps I can take to prevent my cousin from making this mistake.

RomanceRe: Marrying Someone Older Than You! by otuonye(m): 12:41pm On Mar 21, 2007
I think I take sides with tunmininu. If you are getting married to someone who is older than you are, you need to be very careful. As a man, I do not see anything wrong with that anyway, but the points you might have to consider are these:

Does she respect you [even if you do not have as much money as she does] or does she talk to you as if you were her younger brother?

Does she LOVE you [is it a deep and true feeling of trust shown towards you]? For this, I think you need to understand the difference between LOVE and ADMIRATION.

I have been in love with a lady who is 3 years older than I am, and honestly I think the older ones are even more respectful than most of the young girls we see around. However, this is not to say that it must always be like that in your case. I personally can overlook the age area [especially if I presently look much older than she does].

Christianity EtcRe: Did Hiv Test, came Out To Be +. Wat Should I Do? by otuonye(m): 10:33am On Mar 20, 2007
My brother,

Your story is a very pathetic one. I am encouraged by the courage you mustered to say this publicly. This is the kind of attitude we have always wanted from people, and better still, to make people understand that HIV AIDS is not a punishment, but just a sickness like any other one.

My main focus here is the stigmatization of people living with the disease. I pray to see a day when we will know that most of the infected people actually did nothing to be in that condition.

However, I sympahtise with you and wished there was a remedy. However, the lord know why and I believe he has a way of rescuing his people and not allowing them to be put tos shame.

Keep the faith

TV/MoviesRe: Nollywood: Better Or Worse? by otuonye(m): 11:30pm On Mar 14, 2007
Well, I would say that they are a little better now than what we used to have in the days of 'Karishika', 'Evil Passion', and the rest others.

However, I still think that the way is way too far for the NOLLYWOOD people. They should try every method to step up their game. Sometimes, the noise coming from passers - by does not allow us to hear the conversations of the actors/actresses.

At other times, actors [while trying to impress the viewers] exaggerate the physical emotins they were given to act.

The list of mistakes is inexhaustive, however, I think that they are getting better, but the pace of improvement needs to increased.

EducationRe: Is Pyrate Confrantanity A Cult Group? by otuonye(m): 2:14pm On Mar 10, 2007
Hey Folks,

I believe this is a forum where everyone is entitled to his own opinion. Railing curses at me for standing up for my opinion is what I consider 'crazy'. I have been unfortunate to have dealings with the both fraternities, and believe me, both were more than cruel.

That is basis of my assertion. Other people might have different views to the story - that I don't know. However, if you feel slighted by my comments on any of the groups I mentioned aforetime, I deeply regret it.

My personal opinion still remains that the Pyrates is the most - peaceful and more focused confraternity I see in the campuses.

From what I have seen so far, I do not think them to be harmful. I would even welcome an invitation to join them with relish. Anyway, this is my own personal suggestion [not binding on all]

Before, I go on to comment on the scheme on how to make 1 million within two weeks, I need to ask the following questions to the poster of the message:

How legal is this programme? I do not want to involve myself in any fraudulent activities like Internet 419 or any scam at all.

What is the method and scope of this business? I mean how does one run this business? Is it an online scheme or is it something I need to do with you one on one?

How successful are you right now with this programme? If you are encouraging us to join you, we need to see the affluence you now have by engaging yourself in this programme.

I am also interested in the business, but until you can provide reasonable answers to these questions, I may continue to feel sceptical about your claims.

Hello Swordfish,

It is a little understandable how you need a job with your present qualifications. However, I really think that you should think of getting into school, because virtually all the jobs advertised in this medium can only be grabbed by graduates or undergraduates who are almost at the end of their course in the higher institution.

I am not trying to discourage you, but it is very important that you find yourself within the higher institution. It will boost your chances of getting the job you dream of.
