africaken254: maybe FBI has a team stationed in nairobi ,considering the threat in this region by alshabaab and now ISIS.there has being several attacks where FBI agents have being seen moment after an attack here in nairobi.FBI and our local security apparatus have had a close relationship for a very long time. I wonder how that would look like in Nigeria where we have multiple agencies at the top of their game In our COIN effort. If the FBI guys turn up after any attack here in Nigeria they may only get to watch from a distance. One reason why the a55 holes sent to help look for the Chibok Girls from Uncle Sam never got to the North East , they landed in Abuja and stayed there. |

Mosul is the last big stronghold held by Islamic State in Iraq and around five times the size of any other city the group has held. The push to capture it is expected to become the biggest battle fought in Iraq since the 2003 US-led invasion.
The United Nations says Mosul could require the biggest humanitarian relief operation in the world, with worst-case scenario forecasts of up to a million people being uprooted by the battle. Some 1.5 million residents are still believed to be inside the city, and the jihadists have a history of using civilians as human shields.
I know you guys misunderstood me. I don't have any pictures you guys should share yours and let's enjoy. The battle of morsul will determine Iraqs future so its very important. And it is also of strategic importance to turkey in her quest for relevance in the Midfle east Counter terror operations.Quite easy eh! |

We should increase our def spending by about a billion dollar patrolling the gulf isnt much work cus we partner with other west African navies and we could port to resupply at designated points along friendly coasts. Muafrika2: I am a bit unconvinced by this animosity between the US and Russia. These two nations have been a tag team in the plundering of the world's resources from time immemorial.
The facts that Russia has everything to loose in the event of the fall of the US (For starters, Russia, the former ally in the two world wars enjoys preeminence above other nations of the world as the top 5 together with US, France, Belgium and some European Country) The fall of US would alter the power structure and jeopardise Russian position at the "high table," a power broker.
They five fought together in the world wars and share the same bloodlines.
Russia to me is assigned, in the power play, the role of a scapegoat who manages to divulge the contentious issues of the world into petty Supremacy wars with the US. Right now, in Syria, in Korea and Cuba before this, etc.
Isn't it peculiar that Russia only "confronts" Its Western partners in foreign territories. Territories that are not friendly to Western powers. So it will arm one side, the US or EU (more recently) another. The two sides will never fight. They only fight "cold" wars. Conveniently.
The same Russia and US that sat on the table together and guided European tact during the scramble for and partition of Africa into colonial territories - that still stand.
The best position for Africa in my opinion is the non - aligned position. Russia should be treated like any other Western power. Otherwise the two may just decide to blow up their nuclear bombs on African territory. In the name of their "cold" wars. what is this mumu writing na? guy why all this misinformation, Russia and America that sat at the table during the scramble for Africa? The Scramble for Africa did not include Russia and America oga those two were isolated powers during his that time, the scramble for Africa was between the western European powers of Germany, Britain, France, Portugal, Italy. how did you come about this your lies na. you just kept churning out rubbish all through your post and people went ahead to like the streaming efforts you put into making the nonsense look good. America did not fight world war 1, She did not ally with Russia to fight WW2 she did that with Britain that was why Russia pushed the Germans back herself from Leningrad to Berlin. 80% of what you wrote is misinformation and you know that. America and Russia are two great powers and the fall of one would lead to even more greatness for the other just like America became the only existing Super Power with the fall of the Soviet Union. so carry you misinformation and go and paste somewhere else. |

OLAADEGBU: Do you think that the POTUS would not be seeking for a third term in office considering the way this presidential election is going? EnlightenedSoul: I wouldn't term Obama a "devil". Ineffectual in certain realms? Most assuredly. A "devil"? Hardly. Besides, the idea of utilizing "devil" as a serious term of description is, if anything, laughable. EnlightenedSoul: Lol. Russia, of all countries, can carry on as it pleases. Truth is, Obama hasn't been half as bad a POTUS as folks like to portray him, and I'm not speaking as a fan myself. He's on his way out anyhow, so IDK why some folks kick up dust still. according to international law, Droit DE Jens and according to the Vienna convention of diplomatic relations VCDR Obama enjoys Immunities from the jurisdiction of foreign and international courts for acts conducted while in office, but according to the various conventions on human rights. E.G the torture convention and laws against genocide , Obama can only be tried after he leaves office for human rights violations like the bombing of the Iraq hospital and the funding of genocidal maniacs to kill women and children. so that is why people that know international law are trying to remind him that immediately he drops his POTUS position it would be time to face the law. The Immunity Rationae Personae that Obama Presently enjoy will not follow him out of office and the Russians, The Syrians, the Iraqi all know that |

Henry240: I have a question, it's very important.
How do we stop, or completely end this Boko-Haram menace? As it is, i'm completely exhausted and out of ideas. I'm sure the military is also tired. 3 Nigerian Presidents and 5 Nigerian Chiefs of Army Staff (COAS) have now fought Boko-Haram, yet an end simply isn't in sight, are we staring at a 30 years insurgency like Turkey?
..... Or do we need to get enough Goats, Palm-wine, Yams and Palm-oil to go beg the terrorists to stop the violence in the North-East.
MATTERS ARISING. you ve said it yourself an insurgency can at best only be managed. you can kill the terrorists but you can't kill the ideology |

EVarn: 21th year of the reign of Emperor Gwendor D'anzzaini IV,Overlord of the Council of Dukes,Imperator of Great Anuria,Emperor of all Anuria. .
.
The fat white sun of Garth beamed its harsh rays on the busy village of little fay, even the summer breeze was hot and dry.A knackered looking dog trudged up the dust filled street, tongue lolling out and ears drooping, dogding under moving carts of hay and avoiding the legs of hasty farmers. The village of little fay was a busy farm settlement on the empire's border with Galbonia, separated only by strips of towering mountains. Summer in little fay meant harvest, and with harvest came trade. For the ninety-sixth time,Tergon, son of Euthar d'artexes wondered why the great god vogor had to create the sun in the first place. As he piled another cart full of hay,he wondered if vogor was a sadist diety who derived pleasure from watching mere mortals get baked to pulp under the scorching sun.The mule gave a distressed grunt, stamping a hooved hind-limb on the dry ground. If you choose to write something, then who am I not to read it |
