You can't be so sure about what led to the regret mail...maybe he met some requirements just like I would have but didn't meet some other pertinent prerequisites |

Jazmiynne: I'm probably not qualified at all to advice but you just sound too sincere I couldn't ignore. However please feel free to disregard as I'm only giving my opinion
I don't know how possible it is to grow into advisory role while in the firm, but if I were you, I wouldn't apply for advisory so as to avoid shooting myself in the foot. And this is why:
1. Going by threads of previous years, not very many people are recruited into the advisory role as opposed to the open caveat for tax and assurance.
2. On the PwC application portal as shown in the snapshot below, a postgraduate degree, professional certification and one year cognate experience are not just additional requirements or an added advantage, they are the actual requirements specified for the job. The PwC HR has been hailed as efficient in past threads and I really don't see why they would qualify a candidate who is short 3 out of 6 requirements.
Please don't forget, it's just my own opinion. This is quite insightful dear. I really appreciate this opinion of yours. |

TheRealAdonye: I can't confirm anything.
I can only look at the advert and draw inferences like you. In this case, no age requirements were stated for any role.
For clarity, I'm not saying there isn't. I'm only saying it's not stated. Boss, do you think it's safe for me to apply for advisory role since I have just got less than a year cognate experience as an accountant. No professional certification nor postgraduate degree. |

dingbang: yes you qualify. Please apply. Don't belittle yourself.. Be sure you can pass the shl test tho I'll apply definitely. I just want to be sure that ' the cognate experience ' thingy doesn't mitigate my chances. |

timbros: This man keep referring to the days of NITEL. How many operators were in existence then?
I still don't get it. So NCC is more interested in the protection of the so called smaller operators than the over 170 million consumers nationwide?
This is absolutely disgusting. You can imagine the level of intellect a so-called minister can have. We've four major telcos and he keeps talking about monopoly and NITEL,I just tire... |

HelloItsMe: Hi,
Different companies want different set of behavioural characteristics.
Guinness want someone with empathy. A friend of mine used fake names until he passed the test. So he will use his real name to apply now!
Watch out for this place, I will be posting the trick soon!! Empathy?! Judging from my assessment, I think they want go-getters... Modified You may be right though... |

Hello cyberdemonic & every other tech nerd, I have an infinix hot note. Before now, everything worked well on the phone except for the fact that my USB port became faulty. I took the phone to an engineer at computer village, Ikeja to fix the port.
The USB port has been fixed but ever since then, I can't get network coverage from any of the sim slots. I keep getting no service/network unavailable message.
Though the sim slots recognize the name of the network provider of the sims but there is always no network reception. Though I discovered I could get little network coverage in extremely open places like when I'm close to a mast, but this isn't the way my phone was before the repair.
How do I resolve this please? |
