Thank you Oviebright for the previous reply and also Good afternoon to everyone.
my mum is my sponsor
My question is: Can a VO question if the funds will be available for me in canada or all I just need to do is to submit my sponsor statement of account
I honestly don't know I'm not a guru here. Ask Dem frank and the rest.

Good evening everyone grin,

I'm here again with my wahala grin
So my sponsor has this landed property which she had acquired back in the days, then she didn't get a deed of assignment or any form of documents to prove her ownership of the land.
So my question is:
Is there anyway I can prove she is the owner of the land to ircc.
My personal opinion on landed documents she should do a deed of transfer, and survey plan then register it with the Ministry of lands. Or get a C of O but getting C of O is costly oh. Registering it with the ministry is cheaper and still recognized.

Good morning house, pls I’m about to submit my application my place of work is sponsoring me, and they hv provided all documents required of a sponsor, including payment of my first semester tuition of 9800 CAD. On my own part I do not have any physical cash but I hv landed properties & my immediate family here as home ties. Now my concern is that, is it necessary I submit my SOA where my salary is been paid even though there’s no money in it? Is it important to have my own personal money or gift deed as POF too? My admission is in May, is it wise to defer it till September to enable me raise money or I should depend solely my sponsor’s SOA. Pls I need your advice gurus in the house as this would enable me make this decision of submitting the application or deferring the admission @Makano @ketima @@frankrobbn1 @lekiboboe @ anon123 and other gurus pls help a sister
Just apply I know of a close friend that got his student visa without even submitting his SOA. Your tuition seems like that of Algonquin college. You can get it without your own SOA.

Am I the only one that did the conversion from naira to cad to see the exchange rate of 286.9

Now I am wondering...
You're not the only one oh. They don't use black market rate. Some people here be telling you they use black market rate but they don't. I did the conversion too. I asked about this exact figures some days back. But no one replied replied... 13,000cad * 290 = 3.7m... but some people here would be hinting on that, you need millions upon millions in your bank statement.

Please can letter of sponsorship cover for affidavit of sponsorship? As my sponsor is skeptical about the affidavit thing.

You can use any means, either webform or email

Sorry I have to ask. I'm almost in the same boat as this guy. Because my sponsor also has wife and kids( dependents) in Canada what if he transfers living expenses and extra money for one year into my account and explains it in his letter of sponsorship and in my SOP. Won't that kill any doubt of him not showing commitment? Plus how do they calculate the 10,000cad in naira. I think if they use normal rate 1Cad = 327 naira. That's about 3.2m in naira. Please I need an experienced person to answer this question.
Please anyone??

Hello bemyperson

This isn't advisable though and it won't fly..

He is already sponsoring his wife and I am sure he has other dependents there in Canada, so the Visa Officer won't be convinced of him sponsoring you cos I am sure they will have information about him in Canada when they do their background check on him...

Also as a 38 year old man, the Visa Officer will expect you fund your account and sponsor yourself, or if any of your parents can be your sponsor..

Peace

Please I tried booking upfront medical for weeks now with IOM but it keeps stopping at this stage I can't go beyond this stage. I don't whether it's because I'm using a phone or it's a system that must be used. I tried calling their numbers since last week but it isn't going through.

Good afternoon everyone.. please I would need an urgent reply.
1. Is getting tax clearance compulsory for a sponsor from Nigeria?
2. And how can I prove my relationship with my sponsor in my application as it's a distance relative that is gonna act as my sponsor. Asides from mentioning it in my SOP?

Well, i believe virtually all the Universities in Aussie for Undergraduate studies are now using AGENTS, and most of the Agents contacts are in some of them school's website.
I was the last person from West Africa that was given admission without Agent back in 2015.(my payment cleared before they barred not using Agents)

We had Zoom conference on Saturday with UQ Rep which was organized by Mel Education Agency.
I think they reps many schools because i got their contact from UTS website.
So does that mean one cannot secure admission without agents?

Na wa oh everybody just dey do their own. I don't know if my questions are irrelevant because no one seems to answer me
Good afternoon everyone. Please I've been going through recent comments here about denials and the rest. And the most common cause I usually see here are LUMP SUM deposit. I would be applying for my study permit come Jan so I would like to know how to tackle the lump sum deposit issues. Like what amount can be considered as a lump sum in ones account? And what's the remedy to explain it in ones SOP if there's indeed a lump sum? Like what's the most commonest or MOST acceptable reason to explain your lump deposit to the VO? If there's a cash flow of let's say 100k to 400k monthly in ones account then 3 months to application there's about 3m in the same account. Can that be considered a lump sum? I'm thinking of submitting my Dom account statement of account along side my naira account. But my Dom account has been idol for months. How do you think I can explain the idolness of the Dom account? Or i shouldnt submit it?

Please someone should answer me abeg
I'm asking for a close relation
Can someone recommend courses to do as shes a graduate of international relations with a 2.2/4
But has being working with her mom as a sales assistant?
Abeg help recommend any school in ontario please anyone
@makano @lekibobe @Frankrobbn1 @ominii
I can only recommend about some schools I know of here. Algonquin college and Centennial college but the latter is cheaper. But normally people with 2.2 usually get admissions. All this schools are money Dem dey find. She should just surf through their school websites for courses available to international students cos not all courses are available to international students. MYTAKE.
