After watching ETH training clips with our boys, all I have to say is 60% of our players enjoyed being lazy and they can't keep up with ETH training pace this time around..

relax, nobody just gets up and start running. They've maybe not been doing training of that intensity, and it takes time to build your fitness level to the stage he wants them too.. with time they'll adjust. It's like playing football after a long time, you easily get fatigued after more games, you build your fitness level to be able to play 90 mins

Not sure ETH wants to rely on ball winners to do any work in our midfield, and that's why FDJ is top priority for him.

If that's the case, then ETH expects the team to dominate the opponent and control possession. This way, as long as we don't lose the ball, we'll be fine and our defence will be subjected to less pressure.

FDJ will perform a role akin to Busquets role under Guardiola at Barca. Just keep the ball away from the opponent and try not to lose it in dangerous positions.

FDJ will start our attack from deep within and recycle possession as well. With him all those cheeky balls over the top that we've been crying for Fred and Mctominay to send to our strikers will become a regular thing during our games.

This is why I fear for Bruno, Fred and McTom, because our go-to midfielders would be FDJ and VDB in the new system. It'll be bloody once VDB can feel at home again because he'll be Unbenchable and that spells doom for Bruno

van de beek spot at the bench is sure.. van de beek isn't a special player.. he's more of a lingard type, that runs into spaces to recieve the ball and pass the ball to the next player or shoot.. my problem with him is that he always plays safe. He only passes the ball to the 1st player he sees.. he's not a creator like Bruno, that's why he couldn't bench Bruno.. I don't see eth benching Bruno for him, as Bruno is more of a technical player than him. Bruno is class abs not a bad player.. the issue with him is that when things don't go his way on the pitch, he trys to force things too much..

Saka played that LW almost alone all through last season. This led to serious fatigue and fear of injury. All these because Pepe refused to acquire sense. With Raphinha we can allow Saka take some break and it will be refreshing see any of the two for every game they play.

Not an arsenal fan, but raphinha ain't coming tonsit on the bench for saka.. or rotate with saka.. he's coming toown that position.. if you're looking for backup/competition, then £60m is too kuchnfor such profile of player...
