Navigation pattern like in Google NewsStand app with transitions implemented in pure Kotlin code for android developers to add to their exiting app to make it a little bit more dope, you can customize it to suit your needs. Code comes with a library (you can use) and a demo app. Requirements; -Android Ice Cream Sandwich, 4.0.4 (API lvl 15) or greater.....other implementation requires Lollipop or higher -Your Favorite IDE -A Brain Github Link; https://github.com/Ovoke/Google-Newsstand-Navigation |
@afuye.....if you are looking for an app that costs #20,000, go to Envato there are alot of E-commerce android apps which have a similar code structure and design.....this is definitely not for you. |
For those asking for the price, it's $3,500......calm down before you start screaming through your keyboards, you can make the money back depending on how you ball; 1. Low-Ballers- Sell on a popular marketplace like Envato for $35 per unit (excluding taxes and fees)... on selling 100 units you make back your $3,500 this is minus the services of "installation" you can charge for. 2. Medium-Ballers- Freelance on E-commerce jobs, for sites like Freelancer or Upwork... the average cost of developing a native android E-commerce app is $350, with 10 gigs you have made the app cost 3. High-Ballers- Get in touch with the management team of top E-commerce website that uses Woocommerce without an android app and offer to create an app for their store, in the U.S clients can pay $1,750...with 2 clients, you have made the app cost. Major Question; Why can't I keep the source code and make the money. Answer; The above ways of making money from the source code requires time (for marketing) and work, which I sadly do not have....I am decluttering my closet and moving on to creating the "next-big thing" for the Nigerian market using mobile apps. If the price seems too high for you and you start looking at my profile with "one kind bad eye".........."ABEG NO VEX" |
The full rights and license to the source code of the app is now for sale. Contact me through any of my social media accounts if you are interested. Source code has NEVER been released and isn't anywhere on the Internet. It's basically for entrepreneurs who may wanna sell source codes on Envato or customize it for potential ecommerce clients |
'The fear of Anonymous is the beginning of wisdom'........nothing special in what they are doing, in fact an average nigerian developer with constant electricity and a spec'ed out machine will surpass these guys anyday, anytime. |
Macbook pro! |
Instead of all these stories you wrote up there, a simple "I have an open box 2020 macbook pro to sell" would have been better......as asking us what to do with a computer is kinda funny. What are the specs of the macbook pro?, apart from it been a 13" model |
@Joshmoy18 the app isn't for public use....its for sale for ecommerce website owners, you can contact me for a demo or you can make money by selling it and getting affiliate commissions. ...the app comes with the product and service(1 year free update and bug fixes) |
Evagreen editors are looking for an android developer to design a book app for them, if you are interested please showcase some book apps you have done or develop a book app and showcase it here....if they like it you will be selected to do theirs. Thanks for participating. |
$350 for the default features with the first year free app maintenance and updates and $2000 for yearly app updates and maintenance....if you decide not to update the app with the latest features then thats fine..this is for the android app only. |
Sure @Dsholla, you can use it if you have a woocommerce website or know anyone who does |
"The devil is in the details"......let me know what you think! |
The Coronavirus lockdown got me busy, so I decided to improve ecommerce mobile apps by developing this android app for all woocommerce websites as it uses the REST API from Woocommerce, therefore it requires no plugins but just the website url, secret ley and the customer key. Its a full option native mobile android app(with a closed source code) that can also be tweaked to work on other ecommerce website with an API. ^^ oga they aren't learning, they are working for you on a project....that is why you need their CV and also require the best, Andela as a company is actually helping that's why they don't pick the best but those that are actually willing to learn (they even get paid eventually) I saw a post and dropped my comment. ...is that a crime??. I have noticed something about nairaland; any job you drop here people will actually apply, but don't come here later to call programmers in nigeria lazy and dull cuz you actually picked the lazy and dull ones. My comment summary is PAY YOUR PROGRAMMERS no matter how small let them fuel their generator to work for you, they are humans and they eat FOOD. your job description shows you are working on a project - web developer (backend and frontend) and mobile app developer, give ya BOYS small thing |
^^ "Thanks for your interest".....what!! ....oga I am not interested oo! my heart only goes out to the "the best" Android developers that will be tied down for 3 months. @seunthomas, people have bills to pay, not everyone is staying with their parents and eating mummy's pot of soup. It is better for a newbie to write a free app and put on github which will add value to their cv than to work free for a company that won't even credit them in the completed project. you said; " I hire them immediately if they are good" ...add that to the job description so they don't feel they are wasting their time. As for ya last point, let's not get too personal as you know nothing about me or why I became a mobile apps developer nor projects I have done. This is a public forum, I saw a post and shared my opinion. |
When I saw this line; "only the best will be picked" ....haaa with no form of compensation? , if the company wants to help the "upcoming, coming up quick guys", then only the dumbest with the determination to learn should be picked. That is because "the best/mediocre" will rather use his/her time to chase after paid jobs. I find this a very smart way to get free services. |

LOL....you have 2 million naira to develop something similar to paystack/piggybank (which includes website/API and mobile app) and you believe the "wanna be programming companies" are below ya standards?, they are actually what you can afford. A very good mobile app company like yalantis will collect $5, 000+ for just the mobile app (ios/android).....thus outsourcing is way above you except you wanna give some whack foreign programmer that will do shitt for you. Get a locally sourced nigerian freelance programmer, following @makavele filtering process and used the milestone way of payment as stated |
Everyone wanna be quick in criticizing Nigerian programmers or anything made in Nigeria (especially this forum). There is something always wrong with them(Nigerian programmers), but great men grow when positive criticisms are given and this I must say is a well written article on the "Nigerian Factor". I picked up a few things!! |
^^^ nah you still don't understand my point. Any app made is worth $0, when it gets its first user its value begins to rise. If you want investors to invest in an idea, then its a different thing. Also making money from an app is still very much dependent on the number of users. The value of a company/app is highly dependent on its customers/users, and investors will wanna know the value of the app before investing. You can sell the app idea to them and use the money to increase the user base cuz thats what determines the value |
Yes sure you can by following these steps; 1. Create a portfolio with great projects on github 2. Apply for jobs 3. Repeat. stay focused on these steps and you will break out from the loop, while doing this takeup some freelance projects as you use the money to keep body/soul together and also buy data for further learning. Forget the lies some people are typing here!! |
The value of an app is estimated by the number of users (which is a key information missing in your writeup). The length of time used in app development, is irrelevant to investors An example is the popular app, whatsapp. It was sold for $19 billion not because it was developed in 10 years or 10 days but because it had over 1 billion loyal users. |
The question is what are you doing to help salvage the problem (create a thread to discuss the problem? ) .... how many threads have each of you guys (that just commented above me) created that are educational, how many programming questions have you guys answered? (but on a side note some programming questions asked here are not detailed and seems confusing). Someone above me just itemized the problems with no possible solution. I hardly comment on threads here, because its like I have nothing to say...some threads on reddit are actually very interesting to read and comment on my solution: nairaland owner should invite popular Tech CEOs for a "ask me anything" created thread to revive this section and to fuel the interest of the youths towards IT. this is my personal opinion, state yours and leave the problem alone |
I will try to summarize the reasons behind my answers briefly; 1. java and kotlin are the native languages of Android(as this is an android app) as native apps are way better than others (no argument please), these languages are preferred. Went for java cuz it can be used for designing desktop apps and web apps (still veryyy relevant). Learning java also makes it easier to learn other languages. 2. Programming is an art which is best perfected by "doing". Newbies might not have regular zeal to always "do" or might become frustrated when a project in their "project based learning" isn't working. However watching someone "do" (video tutorial) makes it fun (as you wanna try it yaself) and keeps the zeal so video tutorials are the way to go......."DO" here means coding or writing codes or programming. 3. People interact with their mobile phones more than with their laptops and this is a mobile so yye answer is bery obvious. 4. code editor is part of the learning process 5. this too is a part of the learning process 6. Nigerians will rather buy a $1,000+ hardware, than pay for the software that will run on the hardware. Expect to go for the lowest price with a little bit of complain from them. This is my personal opinion, if you have yours state it and don't quote me. |

Source code runs on devices with code name Ice Cream Sandwich (version 4.0, api 15) and above which is 100% of Android devices (all android phones) which is a plus as most apps require the phone to be at least a lollipop device 1 day left!!
