PoliticsRe: FG Introduces Automated Payment Of Salaries, Allowances by owanedo: 10:28pm On May 24, 2016
ifenes:
Support your government and stop worrying about APC. Automated payment is good and would cut cost. That's what advanced societies do. Stop being a pawn for political parties. Support your President, he is doing a good job. Before you abuse me, I'm not a resident of Nigeria
don't mind that guy, you know, some people are born foolish.

Everyone has been unhappy since 29th May 2015.
Hungry people are angry people.

guy which state are you from? where do you live in Lagos? as far as Nigeria is concerned Lagos is still the most beautiful and developed place in Nigeria. I ve lived in abj, and I ve been to major cities in Nigeria, non like Lagos. only a cynic, bad belly would dispute this facts.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Sacks Louis Van Gaal ? by owanedo: 12:59pm On May 23, 2016
amagunnerfan:
It is a mistake getting rid of Louis Van Gaal. They complain ( well according to reports ) that he is not a good man manager but are bringing in another man who is useless when it comes to man management.

Sir Alex left this club in total disaster but United fans won't agree as he won them so many titles. Wenger for all his faults, if he lives Arsenal today, he will be leaving behind a solid structure that will make it easy for whoever replaces him to do well.
are you under the influence of weed while tapping this? a coach who took man u to the perch and bowed out as defending champion of the epl, destroyed the club, abi? mr I too know.

The people who insulted GEJ for the factionalisation of Governors' Forum are hailing as this admin has factionalised NLC.

Those who support the crushing of the opposition, Labour Unions and intimidation of the press will one day need these institutions.

Who will love my country, Nigeria? undecided
NLC was fictionalized under GEJ govt. so don't cry over what you don't know.
PoliticsRe: Militants Attack Eni Oil Pipeline In Bayelsa by owanedo: 6:16pm On May 22, 2016
henryutd:
Nigeria set to produce zero barrel of oil per day.
and who are the losers? politicians will collect their salaries and allowances whether oil or no oil. but your salary can be withheld for months and heaven will not fall. if in doubt, ask osun, bayelsa, kogi etc wokers. your roads Will still remain in that deplorable state they have been because govt can only spend what they have. ride on with your zero barrel per day agitation. una go suffer.
PoliticsRe: Militants Attack Eni Oil Pipeline In Bayelsa by owanedo: 5:42pm On May 22, 2016
SeverusSnape:
Buhari is a certified failure. The country is now in chaos because of his parochial and stubborn attitude. No one should blame the militants, Buhari is to blame.
my guy the country is not in chaos as you are celebrating, rather your people are the ones in chaos. read the story very well. the story says one militant group against another and thier fathers, mothers , and children scampering for help, soon they will become refugees, let them continue.

NLC should maintain the tempo, there is a silent majority with them.
which tempo? when there is no strike in Lagos HQ of all corporate organizations, the economic hub of the nation. sea ports and air ports are working, even civil servants go to work in Lagos. let NLC put it house in order first, because a house divided against itself can't stand.
PoliticsRe: Tukur & Jonathan Shared $35M Meant For Chibok Girls Release - Sahara Reporters by owanedo: 10:51am On May 22, 2016
pinkyliceous:
Buhari try to move forward, stop living in the past. There's no government which is not corrupt, even yours. Forge ahead and try to generate funds for the country. You claim that Jonathan was bad in all aspects, ok we heard you. Since you are a good man, try to fix up the country. Enough of the blame game or do you want us to call for Amechi and Tinubu's heads too?
my dear, one of the ways to moving forward is to address the wrong of the past to enable us correct the prsent, so that the future can be bright. I understand your position by virtue of where you come from, Ipob. please stop reasoning anti clockwise.
PoliticsRe: Court Jails Raymond Omatseye For Five Years by owanedo: 4:45pm On May 20, 2016
LadyExcellency:
It was Jonathan's administration that prosecuted Raymond Omatseye and not Buhari

[b]Omatseye is standing trial on an amended 27-count charge of alleged contract scam slammed on him by the anti-graft agency.

He was re-arraigned on January 21, 2013, pleaded not guilty to the charge and was then granted bail.

The prosecution had opened its case on February 4, 2013, by calling on its first witness, Ibrahim Ahmed, an Investigating Police Officer with the EFCC.

On May 30, 2013, EFCC called its second witness, Mohammed Shehu, a former Acting Director of Procurement at NIMASA.

The third witness was Aminu Aliyu, a staff of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

All the witnesses had given various testimonies before the court as to the nature and form of contract awarded by the accused while serving as DG of NIMASA.

In the charge, the accused was said to have been involved in contract splitting and bid rigging estimated at over N1.5 billion.

The offence was said to have contravened the provisions of Section 58(4) (d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007.

It also contravened the provisions of Sections 14(a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2004.

Five years for 1.2 billion naira. Shame. A GL 16 Fed civil servant won't make that in 10years saving every dime paid to him. As long as stealing is lucrative, it will continue
my brother I understand you, but let us start from somewhere. to a big man 1year incarceration is a sentence to death for them.
PoliticsRe: Strike: Why We Parted Ways With NLC –TUC President by owanedo: 1:53pm On May 20, 2016
Splashme:
This backstabbing betrayal from TUC will backfire some day. It's a shame. TUC have abandoned the people for their personal enrichments.

There are rumours that TUC excos collected huge sums of monies and choice properties in Abuja to pull out of the strike action

clap for yourself. myopic reasoning is your hallmark, abi?

You see,am very sure that 80% of these media houses have been bribed to compromise & distort people's views & opinions in order to frustrate this course(protesting the fuel & commodity hike).
I also believe that some influencial personnel in nigeria like; the religious clerics, activists etc have been compromised(via bribery) to keep silent so as to discourage people from joining the nlc protest & many more covert activities of this govt to keep the citizens in deception, suffering & fear.
no my dear, you are the one is lagging behind here. people are better informed now coupled with the factionalization of NLC body. nobody is bribed. anyway i m at work at the port apapa whalf.

APC, setting yet another bad precedence. They bribed or compelled some bad eggs in NLC to brake the only means the people have to show their mind. See, today they are happy but tommorrow when it is against them, they start to cry like in tambowa/saraki/dogara case. APC supporters pls take a screen shut of this message and keep it. APC will later cry because of this!!!

BTW: Dangote is the real AGIP
don't worry about the specification and other details, you are not more Informed or patriotic than those who signed the deal, they know better than you. it's not every thing you criticize. tax incentive is normally used by govt to encourage investors.
