OAUTemitayo:
PDP Led federal goovernment is a complete failure
Arch1:
Not only Lagosians. Virually all the federal roads in the southwest are in terrible conditions
mrofficial:
Don't mind them. They have forgotten that the FG is irresponsible. A responsible FG would always lookout for things like this on the roads and fix it within a blink of an eye. I'm sure it was the same last year rainy season.
The attitude of the FG has always been 'sit down dey look' with the clueless Oga in charge. Hasn't FERMA seen it?
The local government has its own responsibilities. Why should I carry someone else's problem on my head? Especially on someone that doesn't give a f*uck about me.
seanet02:
Your lame federal government can come to Abule Egba to collect tax but cannot carry out its responsibilities of fixing a road there. You need to see a doctor.
Hello everybody....

Yyeske:
You don't know about Anambra especially about the fast developing cities of Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi, all three are developing and swallowing other towns and villages around them. Imagine someone moving daily from Abagana, Abatete, Umunya, etc ( these areas are not part of Onitsha metro yet o) living in their ancestral home to trade in Onitsha daily. Same for the Awka and Nnewi areas too.
I'm done with the thread since you all think:

You're always right, you can never be wrong, and nobody should share objective or contrary views.

So I will leave you all to enjoy your thread.

Once again, I love anambra.

Na wa o.

Where did I spam? I only made a salient observation....

It seems you people don't want objective views here... You only want conforming comments.

Hmmm... No problem smiley

Just keep quiet or open a thread for your state
Can you comment without using hard words?

BTW, I served and worked in awka so I know what I'm saying.

I have been to umumbo, umunya, awba-ofemili, amansea, mgbakwu, both nnewi LGAs, nando, achalla...

If you think I'm ignorant about anambra, you're very wrong.

I love Anambra state....

The most painful thing Is that nobody will be living in most of those housed throughout the year because their owners are based in Lagos, abuja or abroad.

There are lots of those empty big buildings in awka.

When they were working..... If you tell them to save up and start an enterprise, they will not listen... They will say their salary and allowances are more than enough for them.... Okay please borrow me N1,000 they will say ... "I don't have money"...

After losing their job... If you tell them to use their savings/gratuity to start an enterprise, they will not listen. They will put the money inside wonder-bank for 100% interest every month or apply for US/UAE visa.... When wonder-bank scam them and Embassy deny them visa, that is how N800,000 don burn.

Even now, if someone gives him N1m, rather than start enterprise with it in naija, he will want to go Malaysia...

Hmmm... E no concern me undecided angry undecided

What is the literacy level between then and now?

Those people you're referring to were among the first folks to attend University in Nigeria. Literacy level was very low so even those who had only standard 6 certificate could get clerical/secretarial jobs. Companies were wooing graduates to join them. Population was lower too back then.

But today, things are no longer the same. The amout of graduates is more than what the labor market can handle.

To make things worse, the old people don't want to go.... They would do everything to remain in office.

Wetin man go do? Make we go riot?

I was at Emeka of for plaza last month....

People were walking inside muddy sewage water.

Forget what you see on the highway.... Inside Onitsha needs urgent intervention
