With all sincerity I ask this question,to the Muslims out there,why do you believe in prophet Mohammad,and consequently Allah?.....The question is simple enough,I also need a simple answer.

James is clear nau,this is just saying salvation shouldn't be a lip service thing......Abraham loved God but still,he had to prove it,same applies to many others in the bible,3 Hebrew brothers,Daniel,David and so on....there's no contradiction,salvation is by faith and not by works,in that it isn't obtained through your own righteousness and also it is not faith alone,in that situations or circumstances or actions will at times prove that faith you have.

There's nothing as two GOOD HEADS.......people have erroneously changed this over the years....,it is simply two heads are better than one,which conveys the meaning as: it is always better when you'v gotten some other person to see what only you had seen,i.e their advice,opinions and the rest.....doesnt matter whether bad or good.

I am that I am,in other words,I am what I am,if God says He's what He is,it simply means He doesn't change,He doesn't get better or worse,doesn't improve or drop in values,thinking,standards....He doesn't develop,evolve,increase or decrease in knowledge....He is same God yesterday,today and will tomorrow not be different.

Has anyone gotten to their centers yet?

I could discuss this on end but i already summarised it in my first post.....you see when i argue at times i ask myself the importance of making my stand.....when you say Jesus is God,there will be no reason to conflict that ,seein God acknowledged him and gave Him charge over principalities and power,but my stand here is that Mary was no t different from several human beings God used as a vessel unto honour,she wasnt diff from Abram,israe,David,samuel just to mention a few of them....she wasnt Jesus' beginning,neither God's and she desrvers no worship as such...........please dont mind my spellings,got a prob with my device

I totally agree with the op,the way tithing is being advocated in the church nowadays is not good enough.....some may be well meaning though...the idea behind tithing is to finance the church,i mean, you just dont expect the building and other things attached to erect itself,also to care for the full time pastors,minister to the needs of the less privileged and things like that,not to acquire riches......the church makes it appear as if its a compulsory thing,i mean a do or die affair i.e when you dont give,then no open doors and stuffs like that and thereby making the innocent members give grudginly,i mean with fears of not prospering......giving should be don willingly from the heart.....also the church of God should encourage givers by actually using these funds appropriately......otherwise members will feel extorted

well,i know you called that fact because that we can go back to history and find......all the same.I tell people this,the basic belief of a christian is: you accept Jesus is the son of God,came to earth in form of man,died on the cross,resurrected the 3rd day,ascended to heaven and coming back to pick the saints

Of course,not even a fact but the truth.All am saying is that Mary isnt God's mother for God has no beginning neither will he have an end.......also Jesus' beginning was God and not Mary.

I'm Justice and i'm 22. I'm posting this to NL only cos I've sort help but haven't gotten any. It took months before i could summon enough courage to think of sharing my feelings online ,and i'm really looking forward to positive replies(only Christians).


For a while now i've found myself losing faith in God. Sometimes i feel religion is a joke. I still go to church ,still pray but within me i doubt there's actually someone listening to my prayers.

Sometimes when something good happens and people praise God i think it ridiculous. Reason is that good things are always bound to happen. Even to murderers.

I hate how i feel ,i'm gradually turning into an atheist. I've prayed for salvation, to believe Jesus lives and cares. I asked a guy for help all he said was i should read the new testament and believe everything written in it cos it's God's word. That didn't help.

Please i need someone in the right path(a good Christian) to help cos i really want to believe. I don't want to miss heaven.

This is what happens when all you have been doing is the conventional religion thing.You probably haven't had an experience with God,haven't sought one,trivialised the one you had or werent conscious of the one you had.Now you all go about the practices...i go to church,they ask us to pray i pray and lots more.....and you then do all these because your parents or your environment advocates the need for Jesus to escape the eternal fire(Hell) thereby making your basis of serving God,fear of eternal damnation.you then become too spiritual to think rationally for anytime you wanna do,you sre yourself appearing to deny God's existence and power.....Try to build a relationship with God outside church,do what is right always just because you wanna make him happy,do pray for salvation when there is trouble,when there isnt,pray that there shouldnt,praise him,respect him,serve him in spirit and in truth and not by practices.......All these will continually reproduce experiences that will not only sustain your christian life but will make your relationship with him to be on the basis of love.....i cant imagine you not loving a God that miraculously workout a way where there seems not one just because you cried to him for help.....God's grace continally be with us

Not at all,I believe that the son of God came in flesh,in fact that belief is one of the basis of christianity.....only saying Mary was not Jesus' beginning,the way ours(human beings) is from our mothers.

we should all understand the rhetorics.....Jesus is God's begotten.....he had been before creation.....remembered the book of john makes this clear,the "He was with God"....that also clears the wonder in genesis,the "let US create" God wasnt the only one there.Now why Jesus was used interchangeably with God in several verses in the bible was just to tell us that all he had come to do on earth was to represent God's mind,i mean to deliver God's message to the people....the same way a president's representative is addressed as the president in an occasion.

so Jesus isnt mary's begotten but God's he only had to come in the form of man so as to make the whole plan and purpose work.....Jesus christ share same glory with with God as he was even before abraham.....mary was only privileged to be a vessel for the actualisation of the whole process.....even noticed jesus hardly addressedary as mother
