There's no point contacting Agbami for anything. Truth be told, not everyone who writes the test eventually gets awarded, if Agbami is done with payment of new beneficiaries then that means you weren't awarded, who were only sent the reimbursement, and calling them won't make any difference. It could also be that they are still on with the payment process since they already did that in the span of two days, and therefore, you might still be paid. All you can do now is be patient till payments resume again, if they resume payments with the old beneficiaries, that means you weren't lucky and they are done with the new beneficiaries.

So it's not just unbelief afterall.

I came across a thread on Nairaland where people debated the case of hellfire. Many wondered why God will send a liar or a pencil thief to the same fiery furnace as a mass murderer like Osama Bin Laden. To them, this is unfair and doesn't show God to be a just God. They say earthly judges don't even do such because they give sentences according to the degree of offence. They say "how come a loving God can't do the same but lumps every sinner with the same punishment?".

What do we know as sin? Lying, stealing, formication, adultery, murder etc. But do you know that those sins are not what actually send people to hell fire? If they are what send people to hell fire, then all humanity will end up there. But you say "what about the Christians?". They will end up there as well because they also commit the same sins.


Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Can anyone show me that Christian who hasn't committed sin in the past one week? You can never find such a person, only a liar who thinks he's perfect. Now, since we are all sinners and are deserving of hell fire, why do Christians say they won't end up there but will be in heaven? Aren't we all committing the same sins?

As Christians, we have been made righteous by one man, the man Jesus Christ. That man has saved us from our unrighteousness and has taken upon himself our sins.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The simple thing we did to receive this free gift of salvation unto eternal life was our believe in Jesus Christ who was given by God to save mankind from their sins

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Mathew 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

That single act of us believing in his word has kept us away from the condemnation of hell fire. We have eternal life because of Jesus Christ.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

We became sons of God because we believed in his name. And as sons of God, our Father's home in heaven is our home.


John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Yes, we may sin from time to time because we are in the flesh which is weak, but our spirit is saved for all eternity. Those sins cannot make us condemned or sent to hell fire, because Jesus said nothing can ever make him cast out all those who have come to him.

John 6:37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Nothing can make us lose that salvation. Nothing we do can ever separate us from God. Even if we want to leave God, he will not allow us to go because he's a mighty saviour. He is not like earthly Banks were whatever is saved can still get stolen or missing. Even thieves can hack banks and still your money. With God, you are totally safe and nothing, not even sin can pluck you out of his hands.

John 10:27-30
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

Verse 29 says no man is able to pluck anyone Jesus saves out of his hand. This means you are forever saved and can't pluck yourself out no matter what you do. He's stronger than you.

You might say "does that mean I can go about sinning anyhow I like because heaven is guaranteed?" You can only go about sinning if you want to keep getting chastised and scourged by God. Remember he loves you because Jesus has given you the power to be his son.

Hebrews 12:6-11
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.


No matter how much God chastise and scourges you on earth, your salvation forever remains secured. Heaven is certain for you because Jesus already saved you. Can we all see how easy it is to receive Jesus? Isn't this the Good News we haven't heard in a while, that no matter what, we will make heaven if only we believe in Jesus Christ? Believe in Jesus is as simple as drinking a glass of water. It is as simple as smiling and having fun. Why would anyone now think it is difficult to the point that he now embraces the torment of hell fire for all eternity? Don't you know that rejection of Jesus Christ means condemnation for all eternity in the fiery furnace?

John 3:18
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Now, some people might want to play smart by saying they believe in Jesus. But do they know what believe in Jesus entails? They think believing in Jesus which gets you to heaven also entails their own personal works of righteousness. That's why they are led astray by the false gospel that says once you've accepted Jesus Christ, you have to keep going to church, stop smoking, avoid fornication and adultery etc. Don't get me wrong, these things are good but are not what get you to heaven. They don't even play an inch because Jesus Christ paid it all, he did it all on the across all by himself. Moreover, our works of righteousness are filthy rags before God.

Isaiah 64:6
But we are all as an unclean thing , and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags

Don't tell me you are banking on filthy rags to get you to heaven, a holy and clean place where God lives. Relying on your works makes you no different from the people that built the Tower of Babel. They thought their handwork could get them to heaven, that's why they built the Tower in an attempt to reach heaven. You are also no different from Cain who relied on his work of tilling the soil to produce what he will sacrifice to God, unlike his brother Abel who relied on the blood of the lamb alone, which is a representation of Jesus Christ. Mixing your works of righteousness with believe in Jesus also makes you no different from a Muslim who will say he also believes on Jesus, yet he mixes it with Islam.

Jesus paid it all and to him we owe it all. He gave us the gift of eternal life in salvation. It is nothing we ever did but simple believe in him.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Verse 9 says works doesn't save us. This means if you do all manner of good works without having faith in Jesus, you will still end up in hell fire. Otherwise, Rich men will be able to buy their way into heaven. All they just have to do is use their money for charity works like Bill Gates does. Your works don't get you into heaven, Jesus does. Not that works are not good, but works without faith in Jesus is dead works. If you have faith in Jesus and do good works, you will be rewarded here on Earth and also in heaven.

If you don't do works at all, you will still make heaven as long as you hold faith in Jesus Christ which is in itself righteousness.

Romans 4:5
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Friends, the horror of hell fire is real. Don't let anyone deceive you. I was deceived by Jehovah's Witnesses that hell fire doesn't exist. I held that false believe for years until I got saved and my eyes became open to the truth. If hell fire is not real, then what is Jesus saving you from? As seen above, it is easy to accept Jesus and live with him. Please do that now to secure your eternity. May God touch your heart. Amen.

Why Would Sinners Go To Hell?

"Of sin, because they believe not on Me" (John 16:9).

Much damage has been done to the cause of the gospel by telling the world that they will go to Hell "because they don't believe in Jesus." This makes no sense to the ungodly. It seems unreasonable that God would eternally damn them for not believing something. However, this can be explained this way: If a man jumps out of a plane without a parachute, he will perish because he transgressed the law of gravity. Had he put on a parachute, he would have been saved. In one sense, he perished because he didn't put on the parachute. But the primary reason he died was because he broke what has often been called "the law" of gravity.

If a sinner refuses to trust in Jesus Christ when he passes through the door of death, he will perish. This isn't because he refused to trust the Saviour, but because he transgressed the Law of God. Had he "put on the Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 13:14), he would have been saved; but because he refused to repent, he will suffer the full consequences of his sin. Sin is not "failing to believe in Jesus." Sin is "transgression of the Law" (1 John 3:4).

I'm not here for a joke but for a very serious business, so I try as much as possible to only respond to people that I consider worthy of a response. There are times I get it right and my judgment is being justified, there are other times I get it very wrong.

With the benefit of hindsight I really got it wrong with you, especially when I had already decided based on your first comments that you weren't worth a response from me, however I just thought I should give a chance to see if somehow you could prove my initial judgment wrong, but you failed woefully.

So I made a serious mistake by not going by my initial judgment, but then you lose some and you win some!

Whether scorned at, mocked or derided, you should still be courageous enough to make your point, stand beside it and defend with scriptures. You only have been ranting all this while about how Paul made mistakes and necessarily claiming his doctrines were a deviation from what our Lord Himself taught while He was on earth. And when asked how or why, you parry the question with silly excuses. You see, I am aware of the deviation from the true Gospel of Grace (as taught by our Lord and the Apostles) in our society nowadays among many christian circles, that which does not confront sin and ungodliness which I had of course determined to teach and preach against on social media and anywhere. But I am also aware of the other extreme, of those whom the Gospel of Grace comes as a threat to their damnable belief of "salvation by works or with works". When I came across your thread (the title) and read your first comment I was encouraged, only for me to read more and more to discover you could just be another person out there who despises the Gospel of Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. So prove me wrong, you can start by telling me what you understand by the Gospel and whether any of the Apostles (particularly Paul) taught anything of a different sort.

To be honest you are right to say that those who gave us the teachings of Jesus, the greatest ever legacy to those of later generations inclusive of ours, could have made some mistakes, and they certainly could be observed in the few clashes of some of their accounts of the same events.

And they also gave their own perspectives on some of the accounts they gave, however the difference between those given accounts of the life and teachings of Jesus, and a book which is more or less their own epistles, such as those of Paul, was that instead of their perspective being the main event as it was in the epistles, it was the side event, while that of Jesus was the main and central event.

And concerning whatever mistakes Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John may have made, the fact that it wasn't just one person narrating it but several, which i know was the Lords doing anyway, made it very hard for there to be much errors because someone would be able to compare, contrast, verify etc., one account or more with another.

Of course the element of faith cannot be taken away from the equation, but God has done His own part to make it credible to that extent, so that the remaining part would be up to those who receive it to believe it or not.

You said it was people like me that divide the scripture and esteem one part above another, maybe you mean people like me, such as my Master Jesus because He made it very clear that certain scriptures are above others.

And you can read the following texts - Mt 23:23, Mk 12:28-31, Mt 5:19-49 - to confirm what I just said to you, and not just once but on several occasions. And that was one of the accusations leveled at Him by people like you at the time, therefore being a true disciple who has learnt at His Master's feet, it only feels like it's just happening all over again.

For It's forbidden to spot something contrary as such and say that this is not good enough for His church, just because it was included in the Bible. I already knew what I had was something that only those of the highest spiritual level or with such potential would be able to discern, so if you are still at your spiritually infantry level where such extent of knowledge has not entrusted to you, and you want to remain there, good for you!

After all, it was the same words that drove away some people from Jesus, that yet kept those that remained with Him(Jn 6:60-71). So I won't miss you, because there are those here who have remained because of the same Words I preach that is chasing you away.

So they and the ones which are of the same fold that have not heard it yet are the reason I'm still gonna keep preaching it here!

The way you draw out scriptures is terribly poor and alarming but that aside. Did Paul or any of the Apostles teach or preach another Gospel?

Following your posts, at first I thought you meant well but later found out that you are just another in serious error. Who's Jesus and who's Paul? Why do you make it sound as if they both meant and taught different doctrines, it is people like you that divide scriptures, esteeming one part above another when all are God breathed and are in harmony. Jesus is truly God and truly man and though He walked among humans as a man He never rebuked anybody who worshipped or referred to Him as God, He even called Himself God several times (proving His deity). Paul on the other hand was a mere man whom God appointed an Apostle, he unlike Jesus did not refer to himself as God, rebuked men who referred to him as a god, worshipped God, referred to Jesus as his Lord (proving his inferiority to Christ) therefore having no authority of his own. Paul's Gospel and teachings were all Jesus', there are no discrepancies at all otherwise bring them. It is therefore ridiculous saying Jesus is your Lord and not Paul, why should that even come up?. Is there any book written by Jesus Himself? I should then ask you how you got to know about Jesus, following your sense of reasoning Matthew, Mark, Luke, John could have been mistaken or told you lies about what Jesus said too na, shallow reasoning. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the Gospel of Grace and the same was propagated by all His Apostles including Paul.

I don't think someone who feels comfortable and satisfied in sin is a christian. A believer cannot possibly live a life style of sin. My believe though.

True! But do you know that is not necessarily implied by the op? From his views, continuing in sin as a lifestyle for a believer may only attract punishments what he in other words called chastisement from God and that the consequences are transient or earthly but not eternal. The danger in that is that it disregards every scripture that talks about perseverance, self denial, endurance etc, through which the believer must enter Heaven. The believer while still in this world relying on God's Grace alone and by God's Grace alone must persevere, fight and must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

In my observation of your posts I noticed that you, as well as many others nowadays in an attempt to debunk the popular error of "salvation by works or with a mix of works" have created another error which is sometimes referred to as "Easy Believism" (you may google that) or a salvation resulting to no works. We must understand the nature of man (sinner) and what happens to that nature when he is regenerated or at salvation. A new heart is giving him by God, he freely confesses Christ and puts his trust in Him as his Saviour. This is only by the Grace of God, and not as a result of any works he may have done or will do. Nevertheless, this man is now a new creature and just as he has formerly yielded freely to his old nature of sin to obey it's lusts, he will from then yield, again freely, to his new nature to obey God. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that though we are not saved by works, we are saved unto good works. It is true scriptures abound on the security of believers in Christ, and therefore the one who has come to put his trust in Jesus alone for salvation from sin (it's slavery and penalty) is saved eternally and can never be lost, but the nature of the true saving faith is that which lives consistently with his profession, he will not live in sin (continually as a lifestyle) and though he will sometimes sin but is brought down (by the Holy Spirit) to his knees, remorseful for his deeds, pleading for forgiveness and turning away from it. He may rise and fall but he will not live in sin, he will live unto righteousness to certain degree, he will not ultimately or finally deny christ or fall away from faith and to crown it all, he will persevere to the end and finally be saved because God alone will make him persevere. So it must not be said of those who do not persevere to the end, who at one time professed faith in Christ but later go on to live in utter wilful sin, to have lost salvation but instead, a proof that they were not saved to begin with, and that their confessions or professions at the said time were not genuine, were false and were not down to/from their hearts. There is such a "belief" in Christ or in the Gospel that does not save, such that is just merely a mental assent in the head and not from the heart. The heart must believe unto righteousness and not the head/mind. James argued against this kind of "belief" that does not prove itself to be genuine by good works in JAMES 2. Lets study and beware of this false version of eternal security.
