Only In Nigeria is our level of problem solving and thinking so primitive, so agricultural, so regressive that you construct an INTER STATE highway and your solution to accidents is to install Speed breakers on a high way..an express-way! key word being "express"..... Who does that? I noticed this a lot on Oyo state roads, speed breakers on expressways...we really are animals!!!! We dont deserve Good things!! Only in Nigeria will you build an express way and people proceed to destroy the median, build over head bridges for pedestrians but people ignore them, build a roundabout but people cannot be bothered to go round and instead cut into oncoming traffic.

Therr is nothing like pumping air of any amount ...the common and best way they cheat customers is by numbers showing on the pump...they sell to customers and dont hang the fuel nozzle properly so it doesnt refresh and start from zero...they continue from what they sold the last customer qnd dip it to your tank....what you should watch out for is the beginning and end on the fuel pump
Unless the fuel pump is faulty or specially made for fraud

Your number 3 and number 5 is misleading. It's not possible to recall last sales and start fueling again from there. It automatically starts from zero. You might have been duped before, but this one is not possible on any machine.

Number 5 is wrong as well. You can't sell air of 3k while you sell fuel of 7k to make it 10k. Selling of air mostly happen with a faulty machine or fuel in the tank about hitting the destock while the manager is unaware and the attendant quickly play tricks on the customer. You can't purposely sell air after programming or starting the machine once you have enough in the tank and your machine works good.

I read a post from Pocohantas where an attendant wanted to defraud her.

Next time, do anything else but don't leave with the POS machine..if the attendant started screaming and labelled you a thief, the mobs would have gathered fuel and tyre ..and wouldn't let you talk.


Update: for all those asking what to do, here's a plus:

The first thing to do to prevent anything is come down before negotiating price. When you are down, they can hardly do the air trick. It only happens when you are in the car.

Secondly, avoid longer dispensers. You can also know if the meter is recalled by looking at the total fuel put in your truck on the meter (but first, observing what the attendant types will help. If you say ₦5000, and when they press it, you see sth like a very fast figure different from yours, raise alarm). More so, you cannot readily know meters that are reset; majorly all are. You just have to monitor via your purchase using a gallon first.
