chrisbaba1: Imagine this!!!! Most women are like this, that's the weird truth. I have met many many women even the onesi will call "good", they mostly treat maids like they are lesser beings, its something that has always puzzled me. One would wonder if religion or conscience comes to play when dealing with maids...... Infact my personal secret standard for a woman i can marry is how accommodating is she to other peoples children.
Just be prayerful and be ready to sacrifice some of the remaining criteria(e.g extreme beauty),Insha Allah you will be favoured with one.I am a living witness,when you come to my home,you can't differentiate between my maid and my children.Even when they go out for occasions,they wear the same dresses even with my lovely wife who is a medical doctor by profession.

IN ISLAM THE BLIND, DEAF & DUMB ARE HATED BECOS ALLAH CANNOT HEAL THEM
SURA 8:22 Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the deaf, the dumb,
SURA 2:17-18 Allah taketh away their light and leaveth them in darkness, where they cannot see, Deaf, dumb and blind.
THE CHRISTIAN GOD HEALS THE BLIND, DEAF & DUMB Matthew 15: 29] And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. 30] And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and HE HEALED THEM.
JESUS HEALS DESCENDANT OF FIRST KHALIFAH ABU BAKR as-SIDDIQ. DR NASIR SIDDIK IS NOW CHRISTIAN! BECAUSE HE KNEW ALLAH COULD NOT HEAL HIM.
Dr Nasir Siddik is a descendant of Islams prophet's mohammed's best friend Abu Bakr as-Siddiq.
Abu Bakr as-Siddiq was the 1st Capliph in the moslem world and after his living descendant Dr Siddiq had a near death experince and was healed by Jesus Christ, Dr Siddik became a Christian after Jesus Christ healed him and allah couldn't.

MakeWeTalk: My Father is Muslim and my Mother is Christian. Many atimes my father has beaten my mother and when we complain or my uncles on my mothers side complain my father replies
"You know I am a muslim man and follow the Quo'ran to the letter. In Islam we are told to beat our wives if she mispleases us"
So I asked my father to explain what he said and he showed me the quo'ran that say's clearly you can beat your wife.
Qur'an (38:44) - "And take in your hand a green branch AND BEAT HER WITH IT,"
Qur'an (4:34) - " Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to ....... BEAT THEM;
So I tried to comfort my mum, when she said "She will not encourage her daughters to marry a Muslim" And I asked her why not and she said in her Christianity men are commanded to LOVE THEIR WIVES NOT BEAT
Again I asked for proof and she showed me these in the bible which I checked.
Ephesians 5:25 (KJV) Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Colossians 3:19 Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES, and BE NOT BITTER AGAINST THEM.
These verses in the bible shocked me.
So brothers please tell me how come our quoran encourages beating our women while the Christians God & Bible says not to beat our wives,
I have even sought teachings on this and all the Imams teach you to beat your wife.
This is worrying to me, as I wont want my sisters to be beaten by her husband. So am I agreeing that my sisters should marry a Christian and not a muslim.? Also why does your bible command you not to beat your wife, while our quoran commands us to beat our wives?
Please sincere answers.
A confused muslim
Definitely u have to be confused.Even from your spelling of the Qur'an,u have not created any time to study about islam.Infact i don't think u're a muslim and if at all u're,take ur time and study.Islam is a factual religiom.The fact that ur father beats ur mum doesn't imply that all muslims beat their wives and this doesn't imply that no christian beats his wife.Islam is a religion that is not afraid of being studied.Study it and you will be guided.U saod ur mum is a christian under a muslim husband,show me a single muslim woman who is still allowed to practice islam after marrying to a christian.You hardly see this and you never complain.May Allah forgive your hipocrisy and guide you and your fellow christians to the right path.Ameen

We know that was why you orchestrated the Book Haram in the first place.Insha Allah,you shall all be exposed.Islam will continue to be no matter the magnitude of evils you plan to give it a bad identity.May Allah show you mercy.
martronilla: A Muslim man is allowed to marry a Christian woman, but a Christian man is not permitted to marry a Muslim woman. I remember hearing an interview on the radio with a Muslim, a few years ago. As the interview began, the host asked the Muslim guest whether he was married. He replied that Islam is so open and tolerant that he is married to a Christian. Islam means equality and no discrimination. However, the quick-minded interviewer asked him if Islam allows a Jewish man or a Christian man to marry a Muslim woman. The guest’s enthusiasm dropped a little. He had to concede that Islam does not allow this. The radio host pressed home the point, saying that the guest’s first statement was a little misleading, wasn’t it? They argued for a moment or two. Then, if I recall correctly, the radio host sensed his guest’s unease and changed the subject. A short article from a Muslim website, representing many others, says about religiously mixed marriages: It is not permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim man. It is permissible for a Muslim man to marry a Christian/Jewish woman strictly under these two conditions: 1. She is a true Christian/Jew – not by name and/or ancestral background. 2. She did not renegade from Islam and become a Christian/Jew. Why is marriage allowed in only one direction? Maybe seventh-century Arab culture will answer this question. Perhaps the Quran itself does not honor women, married or not. What does the New Testament say on the matter? The Quran For the historical and literary topical context of this next sura (chapter), please click here. The Quran in Sura 5:5 says: . . . Likewise you are permitted to marry chaste believing women [Muslims] or chaste women among the people who were given the Scripture [Jews and Christians] . . . . (Maududi, vol. 1, p. 427) This verse, as noted, says that Islam permits Muslim men to marry non-Muslim women who are Christians and Jews, but a Jewish or Christian man may not marry a Muslim woman. (In this article I will address only the Christian community.) What is the rationale behind the ruling? Beyond any doubt, Islam is patriarchal, so a Muslim man must have final control in the relationship. For example, Sura 4:34 says that a husband may hit his wife, but no verse in the Quran says a wife may hit her husband—as if domestic violence in any form is acceptable. It may be true that Muhammad at first respected Judaism and Christianity, but he turned against them later on in his life, as seen in this article and this one. So this means that in seventh-century Arab culture a Muslim man may dominate his wife or wives, but not a Christian man who would dominate his Muslim wife. Islam allegedly is the best and final religion for all humankind, and the Muslim man may convert his submissive wife. Perhaps in Muhammad’s mind no woman could ever convert a Muslim man, if he is a traditionalist. Today, this is especially true if he comes from a hard line region in an Islamic country or a hard line Muslim family. Therefore, Christian women must be careful about marrying Muslim men. Islam does not give the same rights to women as it does to men. In fact, the Quran clearly says that women are inferior to men. Further, to be blunt, but also factual, Islam generally is a cruel and harsh slave-master. This article shows that Muslim men are permitted to have sex with their slave-girls. This article gives the top ten reasons why Islam is not the religion of peace. And this article offers the top ten reasons why Islamic law is bloody and excessive—six hundred years after Jesus showed us a better way. Finally, this article gives the top ten rules in the Quran that oppress and insult women. Islam, as the whole world knows by many, many reports, does not honor women. Therefore, Christians must not trade in the eternal Son of God who sets people free today and offers the love of God, for a human and mortal messenger Muhammad (Suras 3:144; 39:30; 41:4), who is too often cruel and harsh and misogynistic. Islam does not honor women. If a Christian woman marries a Muslim, but holds on to her beliefs, such as the Sonship and Lordship of Christ, then ipso facto she holds on to a false belief and may be considered a "heretic" or an "infidel," if the Quran and traditional Islamic theology are followed consistently. Also, would the children be Muslims or Christians, or secular? The answer is clear, if Islam is followed consistently. What kind of marriage would this be? Where is the spiritual connection and agreement between husband and wife and God? The New Testament The New Testament starts the soon-to-be married couple on an equal footing in the selection of a mate. The New Testament in 1 Corinthians 7:39 says that a Christian woman may marry only a Christian man (and vice-versa) (see also 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). At first glance, this divine counsel seems too restrictive, but looked at more deeply, it demonstrates a lot of wisdom. If a married couple starts their walk together with the same faith and theology, then this takes the pressure off of possibly converting the partner to the other’s faith. One partner does not have to "evangelize" the other partner. Neither partner starts off as an "infidel" or "heretic." In Biblical Christianity, the man and the woman must have a deep, spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ, individually, through the power of the Holy Spirit before they become one flesh in marriage. This means their spiritual intimacy with the Lord will be shared in the couple’s own intimacy with each other. Also, this true spiritual equality takes away any patriarchy. The woman already agrees with the husband in matters of religion, so what need does he have to control the relationship and lay down religious law? In a way, Islam acknowledges this restriction when it forbids a Muslim from marrying a polytheist or idolater (Sura 2:221). They are too far apart theologically. Likewise, though neither religion is polytheistic, Islam and Christianity are too far apart theologically and spiritually, notably in Muhammad’s denial of the Sonship of Jesus Christ, an essential, non-negotiable doctrine in Christianity. Islam wrongly demotes Jesus to a mere prophet. The New Testament everywhere affirms the Sonship of Christ. On a heart-felt level, the Muslim does not receive the Holy Spirit because he does not receive Christ as Savior and Lord. In fact, Islamic theology erroneously reduces the Holy Spirit to the angel Gabriel. This means that a marriage between a Muslim and a Christian would be unequal. And this is risky for the Christian, since she would be most vulnerable to a particularly strong patriarchy that may rear its ugly head later on in the marriage. Remember, the Quran gives permission to husbands to hit their wives if the husbands merely fear high handedness or rebellion in their wives (Sura 4:34). Besides this practical reason, if a Christian understands the New Testament, then he or she must not marry a Muslim, for spiritual and theological reasons. A Christian couple must keep spiritual unity. They must raise their children in spirit ual harmony, as followers of Christ.
You've actually read a little but understand far lesser,Islam permits a muslim man to marry a christian woman BUT DOESN'T ENCOURAGE IT.You stated some conditions but failed to include the remaining probably it might fall back on you.A muslim man married to a christian woman HAS NO POWER TO MAKE HER A MUSLIM.This is why 99% of the muslims who married christians have their wives remaining in christianity.Tell me a christian man who married a muslim woman and allows her to practice islam in his household.Try to understand whatever you read,reason without prejudice and Insha Allah you shall be guided.Peace be upon u and the house in general.
nneh1: I have analysed this, and have found out it is only for the blind.
May Allah forgive you for you have said what you know not.The blind shall know himself on the day of jujdgement.However,such a day would have been too late.Pocket your sentiment and think rightly,you shall see the truth in what has been written.Allah's peace be on you!
cashkid18: imagine hw d world wud hv bin witout islam..islam is truly a curse to any nation
You are definitely wrong but a trailer of evidences can't be enough to convince you.If truly the perpetrators dress like muslims,what they have done is not islam.Time is really a patient judge,the truth shall in the long run be manifest.Peace be unto the house!
SilaV: It depends on the perspective with which an individual wants to view the equation.For instance,if we were to look at it from mathematics angle,then the following conditions would apply: (1) The number bases you are working with.If it were to be base ten,then the answer would be 2.However,if it were to be base two,the answer would be "10"(pronounced one-zero) (2)The operation the cross symbol represents.That is,the concept of binary operation would be looked at.In binary operation,the cross or plus sign is not regarded as the "normal addition" operator.Any sign that comes in-between two numbers in binary operation is often expressed as "opertion".For example, 1+1 is read as "one operation one".Of course, in binary operation if the plus sign actually means addition,then one of the rule would apply;1+1= 1. Again, if the equation is to be looked at from social perspective,then the institution of marriage would come to mind.In marriage: 1+1=1 Just my contribution.
lekanolas: Residents of Lagos yesterday stormed the Dawis Central Mosque at Owode Onirin Bus Stop along Ikorodu Road after it was claimed that Muslims spotted the ghosts of late clerics, Sheikh Ibraheem Inyass and Sheikh Jamiu Bulala, at the mosque.
According to the President of Dawis, an Islamic organisation that owns the mosque, Mukadam Samodu Ibrahim Onikoyi, news of the oddity started gathering momentum on Monday morning after a worshipper came to pray.
Onikoyi said: “For the past one month, we have been seeing the opaque image of Sheikh Ibraheem Inyass in our mosque. We informed the founder of the organisation, but he told us to remain quiet about it so that people would not turn the environment to something else.
Definitely,the Jinns arein action.Bowing to anything be it a prophet,an angel ,a righteous,person,a rock,etc is unlawful in islam.It is shirk and anyone who dies doing this is a kaafir.May Allah save us all from the plots of shaytoon.
Have you ever wondered if someone is stealing your money? i earn fairly good salary but it looks like a mysterious hand takes from my money after salary is paid.
i met my wife at my cousins place in Lagos. After during our courtship, she became pregnant. Since i loved her, i had to quicken up with the marriage(Thank God small money dey my hand). we became married and started learning life together. My wife stopped working in our sixth month of pregnancy. I wasn't comfortable, but knowing the stress she bears working on the island while staying on the mainland. Having no car at the moment or going to work at a traffic prone area in Lagos is killing. After several throwing ups in commercial buses, i had to yield to her request of resigning.
But i noticed that i don't see tangible things i do with my salary. we keep praying for month to end and once there's an alert at the end of the month, hmmm, we start gallivanting catching fun all around. The next is, no more money in the account.
I will not allow stupidity to run me any more, when salary is paid: My advice to newly married couples are;
1) Honey moon does not come up every month. You can still do it at home. 2) Let her know what your salary is( so she won't say you are not caring) 3) Once salary is paid, the man must divide the money into fractions. Give your wife her part for the up-keep to cover the following month notifying her, its for the month(They are good managers) 4) Pay your house rent monthly in a special account(so you start running around seeking for loan when your rent is due) 5) Let your parents and siblings know that you have pressing responsibilities and may not be able to offer the assistance you use to. 6) Set target for yourself, your wife and your children. 7) Know that salary from the man alone can not feed the family. Do not let your job take the place of your family and don't let your family take the place of your job that brings the money. 9) YOU MUST JOIN A COOPERATIVE esp with colleagues at work. 10) Don't try to settle every house need all at once.
At this point, you can add yours. I know some Netherlanders will want to yab me. Pls no ysb but comments.
No 5 is bad.Never forsake your parents and siblings because of your wife and children.U knew the former before the later.You write as if the little you earn is aproduct of your wisdom.Believe in the ultimate provider(Allah) and you shall live a life of ease.Be blessed...
I don't mind having a househusband, it is still a very hard job at the end of the day. I don't see it as being lazy at all. There are many factors that go into it. If I have a job where my earning potential is higher than his plus I have a very nice health insurance package to go with it, then it will be more realistic for him to stay home with the children.
If he does,he don die be that.
Kslib: Hmmmmn!!! Thank GOD ooooh,atleast it means that this world is coming to an end.. All the sufferings here and there is getting unbearable abeg,humans are becoming advanced monsters as days go by,all the wahala of this world is too much abeg.. Make everybody die go rest abeg... Nowadays.when someone dies,i just smile and say "whats da big deal".. When someone dies in a brutal/gruesome way i just say "okk".. I am gradually loosing my sympathy for humans cos it just happens too much which makes me see it as nothing... Just look at what is happening in this world today and yet some people keep saying this world wont end.. I'm not trying to bring any biblical stuff here,but cant you use common sense to reason that the "stuff" or "whatever" that brought human life to existense can still end it.. The worst thing that can ever happen to humanity is if this world doesnt end,the thought of that alone makes me sick.. There are some things that can never stop as far as the world doesnt end.. Eg.. Racism,tribalism and wickedness... This world must end and GOD ALMIGHTY will end it so that all humans who know what peace means,all humans who love joy,all humans who love other humans dearly,so that all humans who are not wicked will live a perfect and happy life they always fantasized about.. A world where there is always love and peace. A world where there is no sorrow.. MY PERFECT WORLD...
If you know you dont beleive in a GOD,PLS DONT QUOTE ME JUST ALLOW ME TO KEEP FANTASIZING AT LEAST IT GIVES ME PEACE OF MIND THAT SUFFERING AND ALL EVIL WILL END.. I know there is a GOD,and if at the end,there is no GOD,i still have nothing to loose cos mother nature knows i did nothing wrong..MAY D END OF THE WORLD COME FASTER THAN PLANNED COS OF ME IN JESUS NAME... Ammmmen
I perfectly understand your sincerity but i'm afraid that you are making the wrong choice.I pray Allah bless you with His guidance so that at the end, peace and joy will be yours.
