Thank you for your response. If I leave them as they are, do I still need print 6months statements for all? ontarioissauga: Leave them and tabulate all as your page1 on the settlement fund file. Or move into one account and document appropriately. |

Hello all, please I need help in arranging my pof.
My pof is in my gtbank account (current, savings (gift deed) and salary account (savings as well). My questions are:
1. Should I move all into one account, print 6months statements and write LOE? 2. Leave them as they are and will I need to provide statements for all accounts?
I'm trying to make it neat and straightforward. Thank you. |

Hello all, had our medicals done today at children practice. Entered at 8.41am and left 4.10pm. They were super slow today. Also, no more waiting list (gatecrashers), you have to book ahead. Thank you for the kindhearted fellow that gave me his slot. God bless you real good.
POF hustling continues.
It will end in praise. |

IOM ikeja jneo: Hello guys, I just discovered this thread this evening. We just received our ITA yesterday, my wife is the primary applicant. We have started filling the application form online. So, we inquired and got to know that the hospitals for the test were Children practice and Q life hospitals in lagos. Now, our issue is that the first hospital said they weren't attending to Canada testings for now while the second hospital said the next available date for testing is in December. Guys, are those the only hospitals for the test? And if they are, what do we now do? |

IELTS success story of my husband (PA) Wrote first IELTS June last year and had 6 in listening, didn't take it serious then because my husband got a job offer in the UK and UK started with their plenty rules and we dragged till February this year. We decided to continue with Canada and we both evaluated our foreign MSc and had it ready since April.... And the struggle with IELTS began... Sorry, I no longer have the exact scores March(BC): reading and writing, EOR: unchanged April(MOD): missed the exam, we applied for UK visa and visa exceeded the 14days period so passport wasn't available. We called, mailed but they couldn't help (BC and British embassy) May(MOD): reading, too late to apply for EOR because we didn't know it's 6wks from exam date and not 6wks from the date result was released June(MOD): Listening, EOR unchanged September 29(BC): LSRW- 8877.5 CRS: 443 All documents almost ready except for pof, God will surely see us through. I'll/might still write IELTS incase the draw increases.
Were we discouraged/tired? YES Were we encouraged? YES, PR is the focus It will end in praise for us all |

Congratulations gaths: PPR!!! PPR!! PPR!!!
Silent reader coming through.........
Kimon.... Kimon.... kimon... I have screamed, danced danced danced all over the place, Still in shock.... This God is toooooooo goooooood oooo
Yelzzz Yelzzzzz.
So I found this thread after my application was submitted. I come here time and time again to read all the wonderful PPR stories. I got so much joy reading them, so, I am here to share mine and I hope it encourages others as well.
Decision to travel: December 2017 Started ECA with IQAS January this year Hubby ECA started sometime in March (NASU strike things)
IELTS was booked for April so we started preparations early.
In May our IELTS results arrived.. God favoured us with just what we needed Moi: LRWS: 8.5,8.5,7,8 Hubbs: 9,9,6.5,7.5 My ECA also arrived early May Hubby's ECA yet to arrive.
And so, without further ado we dived into the pool on the 21st of May
ITA : 23rd May
Hubby's ECA arrived in June so we included it in the application. CRS score increased by 10 points (Explained in LOE)
AOR: 9th July MEP/IP1: 25th July IP2: 6th Oct PPR: Dated 9th OCT but arrived on the 10th.
Something else I should mention. I read somewhere that if we include NYSC as time with the "Government" under personal history, it could result in extensive security screening, well I guess that did not apply to me... I was busy getting myself worked up for nothing.
So this is it! Join me to rejoice people. I pray that each and everyone of us arrived at Canny Land in no distant time.
Let me also thank the amazing individual(s) who selflessly put up this platform. God bless you abundantly. |

Hello, just seeing this, I have not, was told it takes up to 4/5 weeks n that'll take the whole of Feb, so I'm just gathering documents even though I'm yet to write IELTS let alone ITA |

Kontagious: If you want to do a name change on your passport (at least for married women), you'd need your marriage certificate, news paper publication of name change and maybe declaration of marriage. With this three documents, you won't need a one and same person affidavit.
However, you may choose to renew your passport in your maiden name, it's absolutely fine. If you do this, it simply means your PCC, Medicals, IELTS TRF (if you'd be taking the test), Name on EE Profile (be you PA or dependant), ultimately your CoPR and even PR Card - save to say other documents and processes to do upon landing - will all be in your maiden name.
I don't know process of name change in Canada but I do know to get those three documents earlier mentioned in Nigeria wouldn't cost you much time or energy, so why not change it now. If you do have the documents though, then effect the name change but you wouldn't need one and same person affidavit. My opinion. That's what I did even though my passport is not ready, it saves time of supporting your application with other documents along with your passport that has your maiden name. Just try and renew your passport with your new name and you'll be needing : marriage certificate, newspaper publication, affidavit of change of name, husbands passport data page and your old passport. Did my own in alausa ikeja @ 45k. God bless |

engrjoseph208: Please my people, what happens to a woman's passport after marriage, assumimg she has one before marriage and that one is yet to expire? You kno Im concerned about the change of name, as regards canada immigration. You can either use it or change your name. Some have used it like that on this forum without issues, you just have to support your application with marriage certificate, change of name etc. In my own case, I applied to change my name on my passport, so I'm still waiting for it to be ready. |
