Hello house, please can someone assist me with this? Thank you very much.

Please can anyone help me out? Thank you!!!

Hi everyone, my two sisters are planning to visit me in England, one is in secondary school and I will be sponsoring the trip for the younger one. 1. The older one is working and has a job. What should I fill in this section of the form? The amount my younger sister (13yo) use on a monthly basis?

2. My older sister has a business and has CAC documents for it but doesn't have tax return. Should she go ahead to declare her business income or just go with her regular 9 to 5 job that pays her 250k monthly?

3. Since my sister is only 13 years of age and we need to put 2 names of people that they will travel with, will it be possible for her to travel with any other person that is not stated on the form and we add a letter of permission for that person (family member with the same surname)?

Thanks a lot.

I don't sponsor her on a day to day, I'm only sponsoring this trip. Will my uk account details, payslips and letter from my office be okay for this or will I need to remit the money elsewhere?

Should I fill the income on her application as "no income" since she doesnt have any income or put my income there?

Also since I'm currently a dependent and have a brp(expires when my husbands get his ILR in 2024), should I fill on her form for family in the uk that "I'm in the uk permanently" or "I have a temporary visa"?

leef2022:

1. Yes, If your aunt and uncle have any formal/legal/court documents that supports them as her current guardian, otherwise go with parents name, if requested in future you could provide any of your late parents identity card(government issued most preferable) and death cert. to support your claims. They could both use grandma's address since it is fact applicable to them at this time.

2. Would be appropriate to put yours or any of siblings or relatives who have been actively sponsoring her. Thus if you want to put yourself, you should be aware you would need to support with evidence how you have done so, either by remittance of funds or others.

3 &4. In your letter you would need to be explicitly clear on her well-being, safety regarding she is а minor, whoever would be traveling with her or consent to her visiting you must do so backing it with an official document(s) that he/she has the legal authority to do so. 16 years of age, most appropriate once she turns 18 she could travel on her own.

4. Write/call to know when her passport will arrive as well wait. Both measures should be taken.

Best of lucks

Good morning house. I moved to the UK last year as a dependent, I have 2 sisters in Nigeria and they will like to visit me for holiday in the summer. One is 13 and in school and the other is 28 and working. I am currently filling out the form for the 13-year-old and will like some advise.

Our parents are late and we've transferred guardianship for the 13 y/o to my aunt and uncle - should I fill out their names as parents or our birth parents? Also both of them live with my grandma (I dont know if this is relevant information).

Since she's young as doesnt have any income should I put my income and monthly expenses in those fields or indicate no income and put my monthly expense amount (I'm unable to fill this as GBP 0.00)?

Apart from a letter from my office, bank statements, a letter that I'll be sponsoring the trip, a letter from her school in Nigeria and a letter from my aunt (her guardian) giving her permission, what other documents should I include?

Since she is 13, I have to put in 2 people that will be traveling with her can I put me and my sister's names since the guardians cant travel with her? When does it stop and can travel on her own?

Another question: My aunt submitted an application for a uk visa in December last year, the paid mail says a decison has been made on her visa, she paid for Keep my passport and hasnt heard anything. Should she just wait or is there anything she can do? Is it because she paid to keep her passport weve not heard back yet? (I know theres a general delay)

Thank you everyone that takes time to reply questions here! It has been so so helpful to me and I have been issued Uk visas because of this knowledge. May you find help whenever you need it.

Classify what u mean by ‘working remotely for a company in America’ and what exactly is the ‘intending traveller’ worried about?

By that, I mean, working here from a company abroad. You know the way people get jobs with companies abroad and can be anywhere working. Mostly IT jobs. The traveller is worried that the eco might feel they don't have strong ties back home.

Good evening everyone. What are the chances that someone working remotely for a company in America can get a visit visa to the UK? Also what documents should the person include in the application to show that they will be coming back? This person has had 2 visit visas in the past.

I know quite a few that were returned at port of entry for this reason. The last being yesterday.

Was this because their said holiday was less than 14 days? or for what other reasons please?

When you use the "keep my passport " option from TLS, what's the time frame for receiving back your passport after submission?

I used Keep my passport and its been a week since I went back to submit it, nothing yet. They sent me a mail that decision has been made before.

If one has a 2/5 year visa can one be practically living in the Uk for that period? Say spend 6 months leave for 1 month, go back and spend some time there again? I don't have a 2/5 year visa. I'm just curious. What happens to those types of people? Is there a rule guiding it?

hello all Good evening, please i would need your wisdom and experience in analysing my situation and advice appropiately
i have attached my real reason for refusal which i got today, and i intend to apply again addressing it but with a different approach.
I can not provide proof on the huge deposits because its from one of my other savings account to the other (i explained this to them but apparently they wanted more)

so i have decided to not use one penny of my personal money in my new application, i have decided to use my fiance and her mom to fully sponsor my trip. (my first application i budgeted 700k for my trip coupled with 1500 pound from my sponsor plus accomation and feeding on my sponsor). i'm still going to attach the same documents i used for my last and add a few more like a recent better job offer with prospects as stronger ties to home.

I want to know if my sponsors taking the full cost of my trip would address the reasons for the refusal and how soon can i apply

Thank you all

Did you get the rejection via email?
I don't advise that you apply anytime soon. Sorry about this and better luck next time.

Good evening. Because of the coronavirus, I couldnt use my 6 months visa so I reapplied last week to go in october for my birthday. I submitted the same kinds of documents I submitted the first time. I was wondering, is there any reason why they shouldnt issue the visa? I know these people can be funny.

Keep My Passport When Applying

This service allows you to keep your passport the maximum possible time during the visa decision process.

The basic points of this service are:
1, you still need to bring your passport to your appointment, but it will be given back to you before you leave the Visa Application Centre.
2, once the decision of your visa application has been made by the UK Visas and Immigration, you will be notified by email, then you need to provide your passport to the Visa Application Centre (by post or in person) within 28 days. If you don’t provide your passport within this timeframe, your visa application will be refused.
3, once received, we aim to complete the application and return your passport within 7 calendar days.

Thank you

Good day everyone. I want to change my proposed travel date but I have submitted my form online. I havent gone to TLS though. Is there anything I can do to correct this? Also, how does Keep my passport work? and how many days after I am told to submit my passport do I get it back?

Good morning house. Please is there a way to change something on an already submitted ukvi application? So on the form, I wrote I want to travel in October, but it looks like airport will be open before then. Is there a way to change it? I haven't submitted my documents at TLS though? What do you advise please?
