Non citizens should not get welfare and free stuff. Both legal and illegal immigrants do though. There is a lot of welfare fraud in the USA.
It is OK for refugees to get help though and they indeed get financial help.

I’ve noticed in America that most 23-24 year old African ladies do not see marriage as a top priority. Instead, they prefer to have an accomplished career or attend graduate school before getting married. Most of them that I’ve talked with, prefer to get married in their late 20s or early 30s.

But the reverse is the case in Nigeria. Most girls between 21-23 can’t wait to get married. Career/professional development is second fiddle to them.

I wonder if culture has any role to play in the discrepancy between ladies attitudes to marriage in the U.S. and Nigeria.

Yeah very true. I think women in smaller cities or rural areas get married earlier though.

Not trying to condone illegal immigration but the US has always been and its still the most lenient and friendly country when it comes to surviving even if a person is undocumented.. An illegal can never get the kind of hope and life in other strict countries in Europe or In Asia. The unofficial rule of thumb for survival for those living in the states illegally has always been "stay out of crime and go about your business and nobody will trouble you" Suprisingly a large percentage of those who are now legal were once "illegal" I dont think any other country in the World has that kind of pathway compared to the US.. And talking about stopping family chain immigration. Isnt it the same chain migration that brought trumps wife and her family(who recently became citizens) ? Dont think they are stopping family based immigration anytime soon.

Reagan and Bush 1 both signed legislation giving about 8 million illegals legal residency. Today illegals either work under the table or they buy SSNs, either real number or fake. Chain immigration will it stop anytime soon, not sure.

Can happen to anyone. In my city there was a white guy convicted of rape. The women said that is him he raped me etc.
He spent 15 years in jail until the police captured a serial rapist via DNA. The real rapist was a dead ringer for the innocent guy,
looked like twins. Also both of those guys in the photo are not black, they are mixed probably 50/50.

Oh, many schools (mainly public) resumed on the first Monday in August. Most of the southern states (in the U.S..regardless of parochial, charter or public) start anywhere from the 1st to 2nd week of August on average.
But most kids got out of school around the 3rd week of May..
They basically give kids about 2 months and 1 week of summer vacay now-a-days.
I took a 1 year leave of absence (from teaching) to work on a special project...but I miss my "kids"
Chicago public schools always start the day after Labor day. I've got a relative up there. Nut they didn't get out of school till around June 21st.
The schools where you're at though, may be on "year-round" school with the two week vacations in between I'm guessing.
Grills will be fired up all over for the holiday..ribs, burgers, wings, sausage, goat...etc. Folks are gonna be happy.

First Saturday of the college football season also, lots of that and tailgating.

The portion she did not eat, I would eat it myself then.

True story. A Dominican guy, last year, sneaked onto the airport Tarmac there, and climbed inside the wheel well of a Boeing 737. He survived the flight to Miami USA. I would have let him stay but he got deported back.

How come Developers have not built more beach resorts in Nigeria? How popular are the current resorts? The beach town in Morocco or Egypt where the terrorist killed all of the Brits/Euros is largely empty now. Some Russians go there.

Quasi political. People started saying that it is inhumane to keep crazy people in a facility. Also laws were changed that made it more difficult

Not all but a lot. Big opioid problem. Also there used to be large scale mental health residential facilities in the USA. That largely ended by 1980.
Patients now get drugs to offset the problems, then when they stop taking the drugs they can't function.

No some people are homeless because of debt and individualism. If one has high levels of debt compared to income ,credit it propbaly poor which limits your access to housing . If you lose your job and can not afford to make rent or mortgage pavement after a certain period you may lose your home . Without family or friend support , you may lose you may end up homeless.

Sure you can become homeless because you run out of money. But individualism won't change in the USA. Most people step out on their own ASAP. Nothing wrong with have roomates to offset expenses also.

lol, but the reason humans are the most successful and progressive species is because of their ability to work together for a common goal. Their is even a myth in the Bible about the Tower of Babel, God was so worried about the capacity of human achievements when working as a team, he decided to afflict them with different languages .

The American system like the Tower of Babel God encourages individualism, that’s why many Americans are laden with debts and some are homeless.

Nigerians in diaspora have a lot to learn from the Jews and Asians.

People in the USA are homeless because of mental health matters and drug addictions, not because of individualism or debt. There are all kinds of Jews in the USA, Conservative, Orthodox, Reform, Hasidic, etc. E. Asians tend to blend into American culture quickly, marry Euro heritage Americans in a high %. S. Asian Indian tend to stick together much more.
