Why I believe that the best rigger won is that I stay in Lagos and I interviewed over 500 people. Maybe like 2 or 3 were talking about voting Tinubu. I had many Yoruba people campaigning for Obi. Although some of them eventually stayed indifferent when insults were too much for their tribe from the Obidients online, offline and even in public right there in Lagos.
Now what makes me think that the North was heavily rigged for Tinubu is the fact that Northerners love themselves so much and I doubt a possibility of them leaving their own Atiku and voting Tinubu, no matter what Tinubu did for them before the election. For the upcoming election, if Tinubu can pull up that amount of vote in the North again, then it will solidify my belief that it was heavily rigged for him. I don't think it is human beings, I mean normal citizens of Nigeria that will re-elect Tinubu. I heavily doubt this.

thanks you very much.i reside in the core north and I witnessed the election in my own axis too.in my pooling unit, I didn't see money exchange hands and the result was exactly the pattern it was in the whole election.like 35% going to Tinubu and 45% to Atiku because of his regional influence.
Then there was this other pooling unit close to my house , a walkable distance , what did I notice before the election start was the pattern women were entering one particular fenced house and I noticed they were hiding something inside there close on coming out of the building.i spoke with one of my female colleague at work I was gisting with, she went inside to see what was going on, she was actually interested in taking what they were sharing as well.whenbshe came out, it was female atampa they were giving each of the female voters with 2k to vote for At*ku.
APC did theirs too.
Obi only scored 2 votes that day out of say around 400 voters in my unit.
My friend that went to a far away village as an inec staff narrated his own experience too.apc generated atm card with 10k in it.they were giving password they will use when they get to the withdrawing point.pdp also gave each of them 10/20k each.i think electorates still voted for who they wanted.
Those two pooling units in my area , Atiku won the two with Tinubu closing the margin. Immediately I got same pattern of results coming from other pooling unit in my state of residence, then kaduna, sokoto as well as the north Eastern states, I was already sure Tinubu will win the election with the votes he would pick from SW states and North Central states.
There was no way obi could win that election without sweet votes from NW and NE states that form about 30/35% of the voting strength in Nigeria

Hmmmmmmm, this saddles my heart to see them doing great in another country! I am very sure these guys would have won so many grants and awards from the US government to ensure they remain, we really need to wake up in this country, I keep on wondering why we do not hear about ground breaking research and grants from our institutions, for instance most PhD programs in South Africa are fully funded, same can’t be said for our country.

If oil marketers go to the CBN to request for foreign exchange to import fuel, that's fair game in the sector. The fact is, we cannot even stop importation in the next 5years to put it reasonably. Even though Dangote is already trying to expand its capacity to 1.4million barrel per day. The marketers will still go to the buyers that sell cheaper to them and best serves their interests.
The good thing in all of this, is the fact that Nigeria spent $1.2b on fuel importation in the first three months of this year which is a remarkable improvement compared to the time we were spending a whooping $20 billion on fuel importation aside from the subsidy that would still be paid on it. This gulped about 40% of our foreign exchange revenue. Now we have been able to turn the tide. With the expectation of more refineries coming up like BUA & a few others as well as the expansion of the capacity of Dangote refinery before the year end, we expect even much less importation and much less foreign exchange demand for fuel importation.

I saw the way people were dismantling a new filling
station just 2 days ago .I have known the fuel station for like three years now and they only sold fuel during that fuel crisis(I think 2023 election period and a few others). I wouldn't know if they use that to source for subsidized fuel and then export same fuel to neighboring Niger Republic for maximal profit. It's as if it's clear on them it isn't business as usual, they had removed all the 6-8 ⛽ in the filling station.
