Following the recent National address by Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday 17th, 2025 to suspend the Rivers State Governor and house of assembly members in rivers state is a direct violation of the 1999 Constitution.

There are better ways to address issue such as this one.

It is an impeachable offence committed by Mr president.

Section 1 subsection 2 says "Nigeria cannot be govern except by the provisions of the Constitution and there is no Constitution that says the president of Nigeria can unilaterally remove a sitting governor, deputy, and the legislature of a state.

Let's face it, Mr president as appropriated unto himself the powers to make laws for Nigerians that's an assault to our democracy.

The National assembly should call a spade a spade and have the audacity and courage to reject such impunity and insults on Nigerians and to our democracy.

This is what you get when the leaders were not Constitutionally elected no respect whatsoever for Nigerians and the rule of law.

Court ruled there are steps to take to effect a defection according to the constitution which the lawmakers didn't take smartly or by mistake I don't know.The party they defected to their names weren't on the register.

On the sexual harassment issue, this thing she said happened in 2023 Dec why is it now coming up in March 2025 when juicy position was changed and also when sitting arrangements were made because people defected and not only her seat was changed.Alot needed to be answered.
