At least during Jonathan era, more than half the working class could afford a bag of rice, today how many working class earning above 300k can afford a bag of rice of 97k ?

So tell me if it’s not abject poverty that an ordinary man can’t boast of a $100 at the end of the month.

Yesterday I bought fuel at NNPC for my generator . When I got home, I poured the petrol inside the generator, and it was still same color of petrol we've always had.

If PMS per litre in the US is 0.93$ = 1,520..... and a dollar is 1,635 Naira.

PMS in Nigeria is 1100. That is 72% of the US price.

Federal minimum wage in the US is 1,218$ per month. Which 72% of is 876.96$. in Naira that is 1,433,829. Hence if Nigerian people can pay 72% of the cost of fuel in the US then our minimum wage shouldn't be far away from 72% of what is obtainable in the US.

Here are some fishes i bought fot just 12 pounds. They are 8 in number. I bought it alongside grinded ogbonno. You can see the grounded ogbonno in the transparent pack that cost about 4 pounds.


So i ended up spending 16.17 pounds in this African shop i went to. I also attached the receipt.

Guess what? The 8 fishes, i was holding one when i took d pix.. i got for 12 pounds is just an hour wage rate. This is what i am paid in just one our of working.

While converting the prices to Naira might be expensive the actual reality is how much effort is put to achieve that earning putting time factor into consideration.
