So what if they are forwarding the successful ones to their department to be paid their TF. Mind you, all invitees will be reimbursed with the TF. No one knows the underlying truth about the pattern of the TF payment. It could be this or that n it cud b nothing..

What if the payment is done based on where you are likely to be placed if employed? i.e when they gather everyone that interviewed for a particular department, they access those that were unsuccessful and pay them off... Let's say each week, each department of nnpc forwards the names of the unsuccessful invitees to be paid off... Maybe IT department hasn't been weeded yet.

Please this is just my opinion, if you have been paid I'm not writing you off. No one is certain of what's going on. Thanks.

My concern is this thing called "depression".

Funniest thing is that you hardly can detect when most people are depressed even those close to us. Depression doesn't discriminate. There are people that have slided into depression that led to suicide thoughts and in some cases, suicide itself. Some of these people's predicament are not even that worse to warrant them having suicide thoughts according to some of us. We must understand we are not all the same. What I can handle, another cannot handle.

That's not the best way to reply someone who says he's talking into depression. Depression is real.

And when we hear stories of people committing suicide we would be blaming them for not speaking up.

A simple word of encouragement and advise would have been better than the reply you have.

In sincerity, i didn't mean to make him feel bad the more, all i wanted him to understand is that he's far better than most people who went for nnpc if our chances of getting the jobs should be based on who's been most miserable.

1. Did he at any point compare his suffering with that of any other person? (Hence, the use of the phrase " suffer pass" which I believe was concocted in the mind of @ozoebuka). Is it a crime to aspire for a better life?

2. Why are y'all pissed that he is appealing to emotions, are you God? The last I recall, God does not discriminate against emotional requests. Why don't y'all leave the decision to Him rather than blasting the guy for attaching sentiments.

Bro, the problem with Africans is that we attach sentiments where reasoning is required. If all of us start appealing to sentiments you will see that majority of us will be screened out.

My problem was how he had to tell us he earns "just 50k" forgetting that most people don't even have any job at all. We can drag this on and on but i wouldn't do that. I wasn't mean to him, i only told him what any reasonable person would've said. Thanks.

1. That he has a 50k job makes the OP believes that, he's not the worst. Some people are actually earning way lesser, while some others are earning nothing at all, and they will even pray for that "just 50k" job, if in the end they don't get this NNPC job

I guess it is the "just 50k" that "angered" the OP. Yes he might not be getting that 50k as at when due or the 50k is small, but the "just 50k" is still a hope to cling on to, unlike some others that are jobless.

2. There are some people that borrowed money as transport to the interview, these people might be worse than the "just 50k" guy

3. There are some "indigent" guys during interviews. These people are obviously worse than the "just 50k" guy. At least, for the interviewers to know from the appearance alone, says it all.

4. Majority of us here, save "I'm earning twice as much what NNPC is offering" and people from wealthy family, are all struggling, in fact most GTs are jobless, and if they should start telling the "just 50k" guy their own stories, he will probably praise God for his own case.

5. Therefore, majority of people that "like" the OP post, did so, because they believed that, the OP's case is not the worst, and if it will be based/ranked on who is suffering most, he might find himself outside of the rumoured 1300 interviewees they want to employ.

I also had a dream concerning this Job (NNPC) interview that I scored 85% and it was very clear.

Believing God to help me even though am not worthy due to my sinful nature

On my interview day, more igbo's and notherners than yorubas were called

i met lots of igbo guys and Hausa guys but the larger proportion came from the west.

Before my interview, all guys waiting with me were all Igbos, two persons from each eastern state...only the guy from Anambra was single.

What I'm saying in essence is there were other representatives from the other regions of Nigeria but people from the west seem more on the day i interviewed.

While you people are carrying out your survey here.. Be careful to note that over 50% of people here are westerners. Its easy to decode this if you've been on the thread for long.

The other less than 50% are largely made up of easterners, a small fraction of people from middle belt and just a few 1-3% from the core north. NL is not a good sample population if we are evaluating by states trust me on that. There are less than 6 persons on this platform from benue and nassarawa combined. (aside ghost readers) That should say alot.

Even on the interview day i noticed there seem to be more Yoruba name while they were calling people from the amphitheater.

I have mentioned earlier that I don't go looking for information. I still won't.

No one here can come out and state categorically when anything will happen concerning APL or TF. And that's cos the actual actions taken on those lie in the hands of only a few people and those people won't even say.

Every info I have shared here is based on what I was told. Because this thread was created to enable applicants and hopefuls share info that give one or two pointers to events as they happen, I decided to give the ones I heard. If you want to use that as your integrity meter, then it's absolutely your choice.

One truth however is there's nothing anyone says that that is cast in stone as long as you're not the GMD of NNPC or the Chair of this recruitment campaign.

These guys didn't know that it was the best from Nigerian universities that went for this nnpc interview...For Christ sake, it was 2.1 and 1st class graduates that went for this interview... No matter the format you come with, we will brainstorm the issue until the truth is revealed, so all the scammers here should stop trying. Whether the recruitment had ended or not, it's not your job to tell us about it, allow us to wallow in ignorance. Thanks. I believe after Salah testimonies will flood this thread.
