Guys, please let's keep this thread clean, and on track. Let's not digress into politics, and the old US vs UK debate.

With regards to RHD to LHD conversions, I also carry them out here, but will only convert cars that have the chassis / bulkhead built for both RHD and LHD applications. I will not cut / panelbeat / weld a RHD bulkhead, to install LHD components! A new bulkhead requires a jig to install, and the tolerances between getting alignment 100% are very fine. I wonder then, how the fine tolerances can be maintained, with a "modified" bulkhead?

If I had to convert a RHD car to LHD, and the bulkhead didn't support LHD applications, the only way I would take the job on, would be to remove the entire RHD bulkhead, and spot weld in place a brand new LHD item. My policy is, I will only convert a car, if it will look like it left the factory as a LHD vehicle. This is mirrored in my charges for early cars, and some later Japanese models, whereby a factory conversion entails replacing the entire bulkhead. Not a cheap exercise, but with 100% integrity.

A jig cost in the region of £90 + VAT to hire on a daily basis, and about £4,500 to buy!

I will also not complete a LHD conversion in 4 days. I take my time - typical time is 7 - 12 days. For cars that require a bulkhead replacement, add at least a week. Setting up the jig alone will take the best part of a day, and that's before you even drill out the first spot weld. Yes, you can't just cut out the old bulkhead. You have to drill out the spotwelds. I converted a 2001 Toyota Camry back in 2008, and from memory, there were 244 spot welds to drill out. Time consuming, and labour intensive. Without the jig to support the car, the frame will twist and deform, if you remove the bulkhead first! The car will be written off, as it'll never run true again. The most time consuming aspect is the wiring harness. On a modern car, with CAN BUS, there are no less that 60 wires to extend. On older cars pre-CAN BUS models, there will [/i]be considerably more wires to lengthen.

The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.
Your application is being assessed under paragraph SW 30.1 to SW 30.2. The Immigration Rules require that the applicant’s parents must each be either applying at the same time as the applicant or have permission to be in the UK (other than as a visitor) unless:
(a) the parent with permission as a Skilled Worker is the sole surviving parent; or
(b) the parent with permission as a Skilled Worker has sole responsibility for the child’s upbringing; or
(c) the decision maker is satisfied that there are serious and compelling reasons to grant the child entry clearance or permission to stay with the parent who has permission as a Skilled Worker.
You have applied to join or accompany your father to the UK. You have stated your parents are separated but have not provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate that you meet points (a), (b) or (c) as above.
Please provide any further evidence, information or documents you would like to be considered in line with points (a), (b) or (c).
Please send these documents as a scanned attachment within 10 working days to WorkSponsoredDocumentRequests@ homeoffice.gov.uk quoting your application reference in the subject line. You should include English translations of any documents that are not in English or Welsh.

We submitted family photos, consent letter from her mother, birth certificate and other necessary documents. Please how can i handle this situation ? Will this delay the whole application or others can be issued theirs while they are waiting to hear from us? What is best to do in this kind of situation?

I hate it when people make errors like this. The main applicant is allowed to bring in her dependants i.e. husband and children . Getting married to a man doesnt make his children yours as well. Na 9ja mentalitybe dat. The young girl in question isn't her child and isn't qualified to travel as her dependant. You should have made her one before applying. You can't do anything about it as a dependant but your wife can plead her case with the home office. She may need to formally adopt eventually sha

Sorry if the question is odd but if you feel the car is due for a car because of the recommended mileage you maybe able to able to safely add 500 to 1000 miles without any hassle.

I can’t speak about your chances but I think the valid canadian study visa can give you some adavantage.
Just find a good reason as to why you really need to visit the UK at this time- if you can’t convince yourself, you cant convince the ECOs.
U can attach a cover letter to explain yourself and give good reasons why you certainly are not a potential overstayer. As for this sudden freelance payments... i hope it is real and there is documentary evidence to back this up.
