It's different, APC in Akwa Ibom has two factions which produced two Senatorial Candidates.

Chief Ekperikpe Ekpo emerged as Senatorial Candidate from Steve NtukEkpo led faction Loyal to Senator Akpabio which Mike Igini insisted that he(INEC) did not monitor the primary exercise conducted by them, infact according to the faction, the primary was postponed due to irregularities, Barr. Mike Igini instead recognizes &monitored the Senatorial primary conducted by Austin Ekanem led faction Loyal to Senator Udoedeghe which produced DIG Ekpo Udom as Senatorial Candidate.

Barr. Mike Igini's issues with AKS APC is from the State Congress he monitored, which Austin Ekanem Loyal to Senator Udoedeghe won the said Congress, but Steve Leo NtukEkpo later emerged as the State party chairman in a fraudulent way, where he had allegedly forged the results of the state Congress to obtained Court order so that the APC NWC recognizes him as the authentic State chairman which happens to be Senator Akpabio's faction.

So has that court order been vaccated?
Or is it the INEC now that has the power to vacate court order?
As a law abiding institution, theirs is to obey the court verdict no matter the circumstances that led to such verdict/injunction.
If INEC wasn't satisfied with the court pronouncement,the right thing was for them to appeal to a superior court.
But instead,the REC choose to organize press conferences here and there about the court verdict.

So it's not a matter of withdrawal and going to court,INEC should disqualify Bala and Tambuwal just as she did to Akpabio.Simple!!

How can a competent court of law passed a verdict confirming chief Stephen Ntukekpo as the authentic Chairman of a party based on the evidence brought before it,and you that called yourself a barrister later came out to say the judge erred in judgement.That a certain politician in that state forged the result of the election that produced the man as Chairman.
If truly you are a barrister as you called yourself,I think the right thing you should have done (since you seem to be a member of the party now) is appealing to a superior court to upturn the judgement.
But this, you didn't do.Rather, you choose to be a publicity secretary of a party by conducting press conferences here and there berating a learned trial judge.
Your action is an affront to the rule of law and democracy.
Therefore, you lack morale right to suppritend over a democratic institution like INEC.
