Angelfrost: Lol... Not the same United of Ten Hag tho.
They are still useless, but to lose like that, Bournemouth will have to be extraordinary in defense while attacking.
Cos United won't just concede without equally attacking and trying to score.
United hasn't been this resilient since Mourinho and Ole. The guy you quoted was even generous enough to have given Man U 1 goal by predicting 1:3. Instead of you to thank him for his generosity, you were preaching football sermon to him. Now he is annoyed and has removed his 1 goal. It is now 0:3. 😆😆😆😆 |

If not the hunger and abject poverty this government inflicted on its citizens, what would have made grown up family men and women lined up for a cup of rice? Or what would have made parents push their over 5000 children to go and queue for a prepared plate of rice like people in destitute homes in a war-torn country? It's severe hunger and penury this government has subjected the masses to that is causing all this stampede incidents. And so far this failed economic policy induced hunger continues,we will keep on seeing more of this ugly incidents.
So my own solution I will proffer to this recurrent menace of stampede is that, the government of PBAT should make a deliberate effort in formulating and implementing people oriented economic policies that are aimed at pulling the country out of abject poverty.
If this is done, the incident will automatically stop on it own. That's my 2 cents.

I'm not saying that's not their justice system.
I'm only curious to know if this had no political undertone. The case has gone from the lower court to the supreme Court and supreme court has determined it. So which other time do you want them to waste again? To appeal the supreme court judgment? To which court again exactly? |
Family › Re: First-time Gen-z Mom In Tears While Breastfeeding Her Baby (Photos) by Pacesetter123(m): 1:25am On Dec 19, 2024 |
toniacan: When a woman gives birth newly, breastfeeding is painful because as the child suckles it makes the uterus to contract, if you are not strong enough, the pain might even make the new mum throw the baby down. Although it may not exceed the first four weeks of delivery. But this your own explanation is different from what some of your gender above there are offering. They made it look as if the suckling of the baby causes wound/sore in the nipple, hence, the pains. But from your explanation here, the pain is entirely in a different organ of the body and not in anyway near the mammary gland as they are trying to make it look. |
Family › Re: First-time Gen-z Mom In Tears While Breastfeeding Her Baby (Photos) by Pacesetter123(m): 1:10am On Dec 19, 2024 |
DrAda: Every birth. The reason is quite simple. When the new born baby sucks the breast, the brain releases a hormone called oxytocin. This hormone helps to contract the uterus which serves to prevent further bleeding following child birth. This contraction can be very painful. Almost as painful as labour. I am actually quite surprised that many people don't know this.
In addition to the pain associated with uterine contraction, the nipples are equally painful as well. Not sure why that is. So imagine a mother going through the rigors of natural birth/episiotomy or ceaserian section only to learn that there is yet another source of pain waiting right by the corner from breastfeeding. It is incredibly overwhelming and tear jerking. Then what connection does oxytocin working on the uterine wall has with nipples? |

chopnaira: Nigeria slowly moving to abroad style where you have all sort of taxes like Property tax and condo fees. Better to move abroad and be paying the similar stuff, but at least you will be enjoying a higher standard of living.
My property tax per year in the abroad is $5200. Even after paying off my mortgage, the government can still seize my house and land if I don't pay my yearly $5200. The annoying part is that it increases by like $200 every year.
And Lord help you, if you go and build swimming pool or have a nicer back yard or use nicer finishings like coffered ceiling, pot lights, crown mould e.t.c Your property will be re-evaluated and the taxes increased again. Nawa..oohhh! |

bixton: You have no idea if anyone of those whose buildings are demolished and licenses revoked are actually defaulters!!!!! In a sane country all you're writing is misplaced. The executive or legislative or anyone is not supposed to hinder the work of the Minister as long as he is working within the confines of the laws guiding the fcda and his office as a Minister.
Anyone interrupting the ministers duties even when he is doing the right thing is like Trump who will squash his criminal court case once he is inaugurated as President of the USA. Neither do you also have any idea if Wike who is doing the demolition is also the defaulter. People are saying Wike is doing the wrong thing and Wike is saying he is doing the right thing. The matter is then brought before a higher authority (Senate) and they said stop doing what you are doing for a while until after investigation. If after investigation, they found out that they people actually defaulted and Wike was right, they will ask Wike to continue his constitutional duty. But if after investigation, they found out that he actually deviated from the law,he will be advised to do otherwise. So nobody is stopping him from doing his constitutional duty as you claimed but they only want to confirm if he is actually performing this his duties within the framework of the law. Is that too difficult for you guys to understand? Remember, the Senate is also doing their constitutional duty by performing its oversight functions. It is called exercising the principle of check and balance which is one of the essential ingredients of democracy. |
