Please don't get it wrong. I believe there should be 2 offerings: normal church offering and tithe.

Nowadays there are up to 5 offerings in church.

1 Sunday school offering
2 Testimony offering
3 Building levy offering
4 Youth offering
5 Offerings for needy
6 Tithe etc

There are strategies devised to coerse one to give cry cry cry cry cry cry
such as "stand up and raise your offering and being left on the seat while others give.

It makes me feel bad.

Must you mock the church?
nairaland where you have people looking for opportunities to mock God and the church is where you are seeking cancel.

NOTE, the gate of hell can not prevail against the church.

If you are not satisfy with the church leave and stop dragging the name of the lord in the mud.

I REGRET BRINGING WORLD CUP TO AFRICA AND IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN- SEPP PLATTER

Joseph “Sepp” Blatter is a retired Swiss football administrator who was the eighth President of the FIFA from 1998 to 2015. He is currently serving a six-year ban from participating in FIFA activities.

Former FIFA President, Sepp Blatter admitted that his biggest mistake was to bring World Cups to Africa.

Recall that between 2009 and 2010, Africa hosted all the FIFA World Cups. Nigeria hosted the U17 World Cup, Egypt the U20 the biggest of them all, the senior World Cup was hosted by South Africa, and Blatter admitted that the scenario created enemity for him although and he’s proud to have made such a mistake.

“I am proud of this mistake, it made me to be hated by anti-Africans, they started to investigate us, they brought up propaganda information that black mailed us.

“Things just escalated when I launched a one goal organization to build African infrastructure, that upsets the western world and this is the only mistake I will always be proud of, he said.

Sepp Blatter does not see Africa hosting the Fifa World Cup anytime soon due to powerful forces against the idea.

“But where there is a will, there is a way, and therefore we brought this World Cup to Africa, to South Africa. The first [time World Cup in Africa] and I think for the time being, the only one and I cannot see if they will be a second one. I am happy that it has been realised.”

Blatter and FIFA have often been dogged by controversy and allegations of corruption. His tenure has seen controversy over allegations of financial mismanagement and the acceptance of bribes resulting in Qatar’s successful 2022 World Cup.

I see BMC on Nairaland who are yet to receive their October and November stipend claiming that the funds had been received by every household in Nigeria, I see them unable to continue defending Buhari because they're still owing their Network provider for the data they borrowed which they're yet to pay.

At a certain age in life we are advice to cut down on food with carbohydrates. I have come to discover most Nigerian foods are basically high in carbohydrates . from garri, fufu , yam, rice, noodles, sweet potato etc.

Apart from beans and groundnuts what other options do we have in Nigeria that are good sources of protein and vitamins .

If you agree it was a costly mistake, which I also share same view. Why do you have to contradict yourself by saying something is fishing.

It was soludo and his party that made the mistake the opposition are taking advantage of the mistake.

It is straight forward case what so ever come out of this should be soludos responsibility to bear.

Do not attached any political mean to it. Ipob will always blame buhari for everything

Patriotism & National Pride is at an all-time low in this country - no thanks to the Govt of the day. Even here in NL many Nigerians don't support or show solidarity for the country. The same spirit has also affected the players.
Many of the them are not passionate about wearing the national colors & representing Nigeria. So they are not ready to "die" or go extra mile for Nigeria.

Pray for Igbo race. Confusion has become us. If kanu threatens no election we celebrate. If an ignorant reverend father goes against Anglicans we take side immediately. If the election we all wanted not to hold is held, we celebrate the peaceful nature of IPOB. If APGA candidate wins, we celebrate the defeat of Buhari and fulani. If the election they killed and destroyed lives hold with the overwhelming power of federal security, we gloat and start mouthing Anambra is not Imo. If eventually Andy Uba the APC candidate goes to court and wins, we would easily go back to our original belief that Anambra has been given the Imo treatment. How Igbo people, home to the best brains in Nigeria have become this downright agricultural in thinking beats me. We stand on nothing and fall for everything.
