Homophobia will definitely be outlawed before this century ends, I know I will still be around then. People's eyes will be more open and they won't let a book tell them what to do no more

First Day at School 1957 for a black American female student.

I remember watching this in comedy central's drunk history. The racism was so bad that the president himself had to send soldiers to protect the entrance of the school each day so as to let the kids go in. They were 9 or 10 of them. They were so brave, the first black kids given an opportunity to school in an all white environment. MLK came to their high school graduation

Perhaps education is a bigger one, it guarantees nothing despite all the money, efforts and time gulped.
It depends on the education you are referring to. If people's primary reason why they wanna be educated is to make money, then I'm sorry for them.
The primary reason for education is to be enlightened, all other things are secondary. Hence the saying, let the study pass through you and not you to pass through the study.

[quote author=pmoye post=91026484]They are going to Mars to propagate the human species. If your dick no like vagina or your vagina no like dick simply stay put instead of going to embarrass your generation. The picture here is not that of the Earth but of a planet where the sole mission is to ensure the survival of the human race. Now, let me sleep. E se.

[/quonow.
Who told you that gay people don't like vagina?
Please, I implore you to read on human sexuality. The fact that when it comes to homosexuality, your mind wanders off to the sex shows how pervert straight people are, so then there is nothing like romance or love in a straight relationship, it's just the sex then.
Sex is an action, anybody can do it because they have to, sexuality is more of an attraction, it's beyond sex, it's who you want to be with, whom you have feelings for, whom you feel attracted to.
Straight men sleep with gay men for money and they are still straight, they don't enjoy it but the know they "have" to do it. Gay men in the past sleep with straight women for posterity, they also don't enjoy it but they also have to do it.
Is it not just sex? Gay guys go Bleep vagina and dem go tire. As long they know they are doing it for a purpose, they are having sex because they have to not because they want to. There is an underlying purpose for it and you wanna tell me that the technology that took them to mars won't be also advanced to prolong the human race? C'mon now

Yes, now you can sleep

Isn't that ... wait, hypocrisy? Las las a gay man still needs a lesbian woman to make babies. Wonderful.

Even then they will need to go to Mars with so many cups and syringes ni yen o.

And thanks, I already know a lot about artificial insemination, perhaps more than you ever will.

And who told you, all straight people want kids?

Then why did you ask the question at first? One's sexuality is no obstacle to having kids, this is the 21st century, I know straight couples who don't want kids and gay people can still have kids the natural way, they jerk off, when they are about to burst in, they burst into the lesbian's vagina.

Abeg abeg abeg. There's other ways to show brotherhood(I won't even call it love cos that's gay too) to your nigga. The most widely accepted and least controversial one is a handshake which can be customised as wished and spiced up with a shoulder bump. Abeg if you do pass that one it's gay. You girls can kiss each other and whatever, we don't care, just don't expect us bros to start doing it cos you're doing it. If you as a guy are going to hug your guy, a light tap on the back with one hand is enough, but the other hand has to be shaking the other guy's hand. If the hug is to last more than 2 seconds, it is to be followed by violently beating the other guys back followed by loudly screaming "mah nigga" in order to make it clear that nothing homosexual is going on, and most importantly, keep the junks as far apart as possible.
Wow, your masculinity is really fragile. That's your way of showing affection to your friends and it's ok for you, just don't shame other guys and make it like a rule for black men to follow. My friends know better than to call me the N word because I hate it, each squad with their relations and if you think screaming "Mah nigga" means your friend ain't gay then you really don't know how sexuality works. You must watch football and this happens all the time, the kiss, hug, shake, even butt tapping. It's an heteronormative thing but it's ok if you don't like it

Men have been conditioned and shamed into thinking any affection towards their fellow bruv is wrong and gay. Actually it's nothing and it's a great way to show your affections

free yourself from societal norms
Gbam! I wish I could like this a billion times. Toxic masculinity is really making men look like beast and we are the ones doing it to ourselves because you ladies don't care. Masculinity is so fragile that any little thing, it flakes and men who's insecure in their masculinity starts questioning everything. It's like there's a set of rules, tenet for a man to follow, African Black men especially has been enslaved to toxic masculinity, every little emotion, a man's sexuality will be questioned. Since the advent of the gay reign, that's when all this questioning, how a man should act or how he should not act began, without that, every man will be their authentic selves. We black men have forgotten the first rule to being a man hence while mental illness affects us the most, when the mental afflictions come, we tend to brush it off afterall, black men shouldn't feel, shouldn't cry, should be beasts and strong and a protector, that's how situations overwhelms us and we become monsters, rapists, reavers and theives to society. Let's go back to the black men we were... Free beings, carefree folks who show everyone including our men and women that we love them and we are empathetic to their plight. The first rule of being a man is doing whatever the hell you want without society owning you and dictating how we should act as long as no one gets hurt. In the west, during sports, sportsmen hug and kiss one another on the field, it's an heteronormative thing. Being gay goes way beyond a simple kiss

Ever heard of surrogacy or artificial insemination?.... Yeah, look it up. Google is free. A gay man don't have to sleep with a lesbian to have a child. He ejaculates into a cup and its injected in the woman, shikena. It's not rocket science and no need of the traditional way

Gnosticism
Gnosticism likely refers not to a single religious orientation but to an “interreligious phenomenon” in which various groups across an array of regions evolved to a similar set of beliefs and ideas. A term adapted in modern historical discourse, gnosticism concerns the variety of religious systems and beliefs in the ancient world that emerged from the Judeo-Christian tradition. These belief systems held that emanations from a single God were responsible for the creation of the material world and that, as such, all humans carried the divine spark of God. Gnosticism is dualistic and draws sharp divides between the superior spiritual world and the inferior material world, with the gaining or receiving of special, hidden knowledge (“gnosis”) allowing transcendence from one realm to another. Emerging in the first century CE — in close concert with the emergence of Christianity — gnosticism is perhaps best understand as the intermediary set of ideas shared by portions of the world as Christianity gradually eclipsed Judaism in size and scope
This is similar to multi-religionism, an religion I was affiliated with before I derailed

Atheism/Agnosticism/Freethinking
Atheism refers to either the absence of a belief in the existence of deities or to an active belief that deities do not exist. This belief system rejects theology as well as the constructs of organized religion. Use of the term originated in the ancient world and was meant to degrade those who rejected commonly accepted religious precepts. It was first self-applied during the Age of Enlightenment in 18th century France. The French Revolution was driven by the prioritization of human reason over the abstract authority of religion. This prompted a period of skeptical inquiry, one in which atheism became an important cultural, philosophical, and political entity.

Many who characterize themselves as atheists argue that a lack of proof or scientific process prevents the belief in a deity. Some who refer to themselves as secular humanists have developed a code of ethics that exists separate from the worship of a deity. Determining the actual number of “practicing” atheists is quite difficult, given the absence of a unifying religious organization. Polling around the world has produced an extremely wide variance, with the largest rates of atheism generally seen in Europe and East Asia.

Closely related is the idea of agnosticism, which doesn’t profess to know whether there is or isn’t a deity. Instead, agnosticism argues that the limits of human reasoning and understanding make the existence of god(s), the origins of the universe, and the possibility of an afterlife all unknowable. Like atheism, the term emerged around the fifth century BCE and was contemplated with particular interest in Indian cultures. It gained more popular modern visibility when coined by English biologist Thomas Henry Huxley, who in 1869 recognized that incapacity of humans to truly answer questions regarding the divine. To Huxley, and the agnostic and athiest thinkers who followed, theistic or gnostic religions lack scientific basis, and therefore, should be rejected.
The last picture is my main man, Brian Sims.
Great thread. Hoping it makes front page

Buddhism
Buddhism is both a religion and philosophy. The traditions and beliefs surrounding Buddhism can be traced to the original teachings of Gautama Buddha, a sagely thinker who is believed to have lived between the fourth and sixth centuries BCE. The Buddha lived and taught in the eastern part of ancient India, providing the template for a faith based on the ideas of moral rectitude, freedom from material attachment or desire, the achievement of peace and illumination through meditation, and a life dedicated to wisdom, kindness, and compassion. The Buddha’s teachings proliferated widely through much of Asia in the centuries that followed.

Though its scriptures and traditions inform countless subsequent sects and ideologies, Buddhism is largely divided into two branches: Theravada — the goal of which is to achieve freedom from ignorance, material attachment, and anger by practicing the Noble Eightfold Path, all in pursuit of a sublime state called Nirvana; and Mahayana — the goal of which is aspire to Buddhahood by practicing the Zen principles of self-control, meditation, and expression of the insight of Buddha in your daily life, especially for the benefit of others, all to the end of achieving bodhisattva, or an ongoing cycle of rebirth by which you can continue to enlighten others.

Today, roughly 7% of the world practices some form of Buddhism, making it the fourth largest of the world’s religions, with an estimated 500 million adherents across both the Eastern and Western World.

Buddhism is the world's fourth-largest religion with over 520 million followers, or over 7% of the global population, known as Buddhists. Buddhism encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and spiritual practices largely based on original teachings attributed to the Buddha and resulting interpreted philosophies

If you ask me, this is the most peaceful religion there is. If I wanted to be religious, this will definitely catch my eye, i'm so interested in it's spirituality, the third eye, the meditation, their dogma. It's all fascinating

Bahá’í

The Bahá’í faith is essentially a spiritual ideology that teaches the value of all religions, espousing the importance of universal equality and unity. Bahá’u’lláh, the founding figure in the Bahá’í faith, officially established his ideology in 1863 in Persia (or modern-day Iran). As something of a hybrid of other faiths, Bahá’í grew out of the tradition of Babism, which itself emerged from an Islamic denomination called Shaykhism. (Today, Babism exists with a few thousand adherents, concentrated largely in Iran, and standing separately from the Islamic ideologies that surround it.) Like Babism, Bahá’í incorporates some of the teachings of Islam but merges them with some Christian principles. The central governing body of the Bahá’í faith, a nine-member council called the Universal House of Justice, operates from Haifa, Israel. Today, the Bahá’í faith has somewhere between five and seven million adherents around the world.
The Baháʼí Faith is a religion teaching the essential worth of all religions, and the unity of all people. Established by Baháʼu'lláh in 1863, it initially grew in Persia and parts of the Middle East, where it has faced ongoing persecution since its inception.
I remember seeing a religion like this in "Lawrence of Arabia". Its an offshoot of islam
