Mr. Edward Ewuaba a lecturer of Kogi State University, sociology department has been accused of battering his girlfriend, who is also a student of same school. According to Twitter user, Femi, who made the allegation, the lecturer reportedly beat the girl to a pulp, on Monday night, leaving her with several body injuries and cuts.


Mr. Edward became suspicious after trying to reach his student girlfriend, who left his house for a service in church; he tried calling her number but couldn’t get through, he met her in her hostel, where he beat her mercilessly leaving her with cuts. Six properties traced to some suspects alleged to have diverted about Three Billion Naira Amnesty Funds in the Niger Delta have been confiscated by operatives of the EFCC.
