The Nigerian lady, Farida Bashir, who was accused last year by her close friend, Aisha Laah, of snatching her fiance, Junaidu Usman Abubakar, has died.

She reportedly died after complaining of stomach pain. Kannywood actress, Aisha Humairah shared the news writing;

"God has forgiven you Farida
God makes it a resting-place for you

God forgives you Bashir God is a resting-place for you God grants patience and patience to the best of our destiny."

The owner of the longest fingernails ever recorded on a single hand has had them cut after 66 years.

Shridhar Chillal from Pune, India, had his nails, which hold the record for the Longest fingernails on a single hand – ever, cut at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Times Square, New York, US.


The 82-year-old had been growing his nails since 1952, when he was 14, after being told off by a teacher for accidentally breaking his long nail.

When last measured, his nails had a combined length of 909.6 cm (29 ft 10.1 in), about the same length as a London bus.

His individual nails measured:

Little finger : 179.1 cm
Ring finger : 181.6 cm
Middle finger : 186.6 cm
Index finger : 164.5 cm
Thumb : 197.8 cm

Shridhar first appeared in Guinness World Records 1979, when his nails measured a combined length of 219.7 cm (86.5 inches). His most recent appearance in 2018’s Science & Stuff which explains more about fingernails and how they grow.

Nollywood actor, Aremu Afolayan has wowed many with his temper on social media after he cursed at a troll who’d called him senseless – he not only cursed the troll but also his mother.

According to the actor, he usually doesn’t respond to trolls but this one in particular seems to have gotten to him to have gone as far as cursing the troll’s mother.

A Nigerian man took his fiancee, Dammy, to the street they first met in August 2013, to propose to her.

According to a report making waves on Tuesday, some organizations has raised alarm over the use of Indian hemp as gift items during public functions in Onitsha and environs.

The organisation alleged that Indian hemp is sometimes served at burial ceremonies and other private functions to willing guests.

The national coordinator of the CAI, Mr. Victor Enwezor, raised the concerns during a symposium on drug abuse in Onitsha to mark this year’s International Drug Day, themed, “Drug/Substance Abuse: Its effects on the socio-economic development of communities.”
Enwezor said that drug abuses had posed socio-economic challenges to the development of Onitsha.

He said, ”If you come to some burial ceremonies or other events here in Onitsha, you will see cannabis wrapped like pills and served in tray with lighters.

A Nigerian lady, Adeotan Oresajo, has died one month after she got married to her husband, Tope Oresajo.

Tope and Adeotan met while she was at the Wesley University of Science and Technology, Ondo state and dated for eight years. They got married on May 26th with Adeotan heavily pregnant. They earnestly waited for the birth of their first child.

On May 24th, Adeotan slumped at their home in Ikeja GRA and was rushed to the hospital where she died. Doctors said she had high Blood pressure. She died with her six months pregnancy.

May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
