Foreign AffairsNiger Issue : Why Didn't They Sell Weapons To Nigeria To Fight Boko Haram? by panafrican(op): 12:06am On Aug 08, 2023
All those Western countries that are eager to see Nigerian troops in Niger right now, were
nowhere to be seen, during the dire times when Nigeria was in need of Weapons
in the fight against Boko Haram terrorists. In those years, Boko Haram was killing
Nigerians by the thousands. Women were raped and beheaded, children , men and
and women burned alive, villages burned down to the ground.
Still the West refused to sell weapons to Nigeria. Did the French come out to bring countries
onboard in support of Nigeria ? NO .
What did the United states do ? deaf ear when the Nigerian government was working day
and night to prevent the country from being overrun by radicals.
Worse the West said the Nigerian military was violating those terrorists' human rights.
Now they want Nigeria to fight and reinstate that French stooge in Niger.

popular army forces will cross into south Africa to teach you a lesson once for all.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Express Concerns Amidst Rumors Of Military Coup by panafrican(m): 12:06pm On Aug 05, 2023
No Military coup in Nigeria. Africa does not need another Abacha. Enough is enough.
As of now , Nigeria has one of the best presidential terms in Africa. One term is only 4 years in a country of more than
200 million people. Moreover the number of terms is limited to two. You cannot beat that.
Compare Nigeria to Ivory Coast , Togo , Gabon etc., small countries where presidents are changing the constitution to run for a
3rd term or become a de facto president for life.

17 countries that gained their independence in 1960
by Our Reporter September 25, 2022

August of 1960, in particular, was significant for African independence, with nine former French colonies becoming independent during this month: Benin, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Chad, Central Africa Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Gabon, and Senegal.

The three non-French colonies that gained independence this year were: the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which gained independence from Belgium; Nigeria, which gained independence from the United Kingdom; and Somalia, which formed from the union of British and Italian Somaliland, as well as an independent territory called the Dervish State.

Foreign AffairsDams Used To Generate Power In Nigeria All Depend On The River Niger by panafrican(op):
Niger could build its own dams and make Nigeria's dams become useless. In the end, Nigeria will depend on Niger to get water and electricity.
Follow the News On Liberty Radio, Abuja Nigeria
Since gaining its independence, Nigeria and the Niger Republic have maintained very close bilateral ties. I chuckled when I read the report that Nigeria had turned off power to the Niger Republic. We tend to forget that the Niger River, which supplies our energy, also runs through the Niger Republic.
And according to the current deal, the Niger Republic will not dam the river so that Nigeria can have electricity. All of our dams, including the “Kainji” and “Jebba” dams, will be useless if that nation decides to cut off water supplies by constructing a dam along the River Niger

Niger coup: Decision time for West Africa as deadline nears
August 5, 2023 BBC

Military intervention
Ecowas has used military force to restore constitutional order in the past, for example in The Gambia in 2017 when Yahya Jammeh refused to step down after losing an election.

But the calculation about whether to go ahead this time would be far more difficult.

Firstly, Niger is geographically the largest country in West Africa, while The Gambia is a tiny sliver of land surrounded by Senegal and the Atlantic Ocean, so sending troops in would be a whole different prospect.

Secondly, regional power Nigeria, which is leading the charge to restore President Bazoum, is facing a host of security challenges at home, so sending a significant portion of the army to Niger would be something of a gamble.

Thirdly, both Mali and Burkina Faso have said that military intervention in Niger would be seen as a "declaration of war" and they would go to defend their fellow coup leaders.

So it risks snowballing into a full-scale regional war, especially if the Niger population resists foreign intervention. Although it is impossible to know how they would react.

Nigeria and Niger share many historical and ethnic ties, with people on both sides speaking the same language so this could make some Nigerian troops reluctant to fight if it came to that.

Countries like Algeria, Niger's neighbour to the north, China and Russia have asked for restraint and the continued use of dialogue to douse tension.

Why should a Nigerian soldier go die in Niger?

To bring back one of those corrupt African leaders who love enjoying a blue -blood life
with European oligarchs once in power, when their people are dying of hunger !!!!
Why create death in families for this nonsense?
School is less than one month away, do not send a father die in Niger , his sons and daughters need him.

The millions of $$$$ Nigeria is losing in that venture will have to be compensated .
And do you know how ?
The French controlled financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund will step in to
give Nigeria some high interest . To pay that loan they will ask the Nigerian government it is better to cut
in education and health care, and raise tax in imported goods and food. You can guess the outcome.

Foreign AffairsWestern Military Bases In Niger, Yours To Discover by panafrican(op): 1:26pm On Jul 31, 2023
With all these military bases, why are they letting terrorist groups steal the show in Niger.
A country like France even prevents joint cross -border military operation between Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. It gives leeway to
criminal AZAWAD terrorists to maintain some hideouts and hit Malian troops.
The only thing the West does in Niger is to secure their share of Uranium and use it to make nuclear bombs. The very same bombs they will use to Nuke us with no restrain in the future.
Look at the bottom left on the map,, three military bases in near the border with Burkina Faso . This is the place where terrorists are the most active . The terrorist strike and retreat to Niger to their hideouts.
In the North, you have the French base close to Libya , this is the route where terrorists carry weapons from Libya to wage a war in West Africa.
