Neville does not know what he is talking about. He was a good player at United, he was never the main event, he never had the sort of attention that players like Bruno or Rashford or Pogba have today.

He was never the guy with his effigy hanging on the end of a rope.

Even back in Neville's day David Beckham apologised to the nation for getting sent off in the World Cup in 1998. High profile players apologising when they Bleep up is nothing new.

Even Phil Neville apologised to fans back in July because Inter Miami got trounced 5-0.

Players with expectations on them feel guilty when they Bleep up, be it a penalty, a silly foul, or just having an all round mare. Neville never had to because he was never that guy.

Replace McFred with a Competent DM, move Pogba to CM, no need to protect defence, if Varane and Magwaya cannot defend then they have no business being in Man united. Finally leave Bruno alone, many teams are envying his contribution to the tteam and wished they have him. When he plays badly he will be criticized. For now he is not.

unpopular opinion awb will be 24 years next month and he still not improving to my observations i.e lot of bad first touch, low attacking output, even defensively still a suspect. Only what he offers is tackle . Na tackle we go chop.

Dalot is a better player for me. He has improve alot visible. And still learn. He is still 22yrs old. His weakness is lack of concentration atimes which can be work on. But by skill set he is better than AWB.

Losing Early in cup game to a fellow premier League club who finished top 6 last season is not a disaster while using a second string team.
