I mentioned it here that he'd make it difficult for Sancho as a RWF but you said he was improving his attacking display thus they'd work together but I haven't seen anything that points to that...
AWB is a big disappointment for the money we paid for him. Unrelated but the way the guy chews gum annoys the hell out of me |

TheLequte: There was a time the fans wanted Ole out but these guys doubled down. They gave him more time. It’s all about the money. Top 4. Forget whatever anyone else tells you.
Mourinho won a trophy. LvG too. But they were inconsistent in their top 4 finishes.
Ole is consistent with top 4 finishes. He’s yet to win a yeye trophy.
Who got the sack and who got a contract extension?
This thing is simple bros. If they wanted to sack Ole since they’d have done it. Nothing concern history and all that yada yada Hmmm Top 4>>>> Trophies according to the Glazers Interesting |

nitrogen: Lol, I am so sure you understand my point. But you must find a way to make it sound like there are holes in my arguement.
My argument: Glazers are strong willed, it has helped them stay as owners since 2005 even though the fans have been on their neck. In a bid to reduce the pressure, they found out the fans’ weaknesses and preyed on them. What’s the weakness? Anything legendary and historical about the club, well, we can exploit that to make them shut up, reason for the recent interesting appointments.
Question is, why are fans blind to the appointment? Why the bias? Why not protest against the appointments and protest against OGS since they won’t take us anywhere?
The Glazers will take their time, they won’t sack because the fans are gullible and emotional. I agree with your points but Doc angle is simple do you need the fans to protest before you change the manager? I would have completely agreed with your points but Roman didn't need the fans to protest before taking that ruthless decision to sack Lampard. |

I have noticed this trend and I'm sure many have noticed it too, United players always feel the need to come to social media to apologise after a defeat, now I noticed Ronaldo follow that trend too. It's really annoying, I don't think players from other clubs do that.
I was watched City documentary last season and Foden said if the team loses he doesn't go to social media for a week but it's different with United, I don't get the need to come to social media and tell us how sorry you are. |

elampiro: It's a champions league first match, there is no weak team. Some small teams dealt with SAF in the past. You can only select a weak starting eleven when you have already qualified and may be looking to top the group You call that a weak team? Let's Agree that's a weak team, shouldn't that team be beating Young boys? Some analogy are just far fetched, SAF lost to small teams in the past so united should be losing to small teams season in season out right? Last season it was a club that we can't pronounce their name, this season is young boys. |

KinzyeWriter: I just read alot of comments about Ronaldo's first goal, and also the heavy blame on the goalkeeper for letting the ball slip from his hand which led to the goal.
Firstly, lets look into Greenwood's shooting technique and the goals he's scored from it. He's usually shoot low with power and accuracy.
When he (Mason) cut in and took that shot, the ball was flying low to the left side of the goal post, the goalkeeper saw this and moved a bit from his initial position to make the safe.
But unfortunately, the shot deflected the leg of a Newcastle defender forcing the ball to change direction and met the goalkeeper off balance.
Even though the goalkeeper tried to return to his initial position, his timing had been tampered with and hence the inability to catch the ball properly.
Ronaldo, like a smart striker that he his, had already read the ball even before Mason took the shot, then make a clever run for a possible rebound which indeed came and was well converted.
Before you reply or disagree, I want to be sure you have watched the highlight well enough to catch those tiny details Welcome to United thread where football Einstein's over analyse everything including; wind resistance, genetic factors and sub atomic levels. Mistakes are bound to happen it's normal, they try to paint football as a perfect game forgetting humans play the sport. |

nitrogen: Lol. Nothing has changed. It’s a sensational headline/story, the new investor bought existing shares that are already trading in the market. No extra money in the Glazer’s pocket. Most times, company owners float a certain percentage of total shares in the market, which is ‘trade-able’. They get cash at the time of floating, whatever trades happen to the floated shares won’t impact them.
Also, the new investor can’t gain control at all because they only bought 5% of total utd shares, meanwhile total float is just about 10% of total utd shares. Even if they buy the 10% in the market, they need to buy more privately from the Glazers and other institutional investors before conversations about control can start popping up. Interesting, thank you for your insight! |
