Ofunaofu:
But how can a mere federal commissioner, a mere political appointee, put fire in a state when there is a sitting governor in that state with enormous executive powers?

If Wike was still a sitting governor, would he allow anybody to put fire in his state?

The PDP should, as a matter of urgency, send Wike packing so that he can formerly move into the APC, where his madness is so needed. As we all know, the APC is a party for mad men like him. Tinubu and all those people around him are mad men.

He is of no use to the PDP; after all, he worked against the party in the last general elections, and he is still working against the party.
PDP is heavily compromised right now, forget it.

True holy people or helpers will not narrate any hypocritical pitying grass to grace story, gloating in secret. If they want to help, let them help and let her be. Why parade her. Like those that have been in the church all along are better.

No One Will Help You As Much As You

No one will ever be as committed to your life as you, And why should they? It's YOUR life, not theirs. If you aren't helping yourself grow and you aren't being committed then how can you expect your life to go well?

You Can't Rely on Others

Sure, We all need help, We all rely on other people. But we can't always rely on others. If we do, We'll be disappointed. People are going to make the best decision for themselves. And not you.

THE TRUTH THE SANUSIS DON'T TELL.
-------------------------------------------
Boko Haram says it is fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal laws; the same unconstitutional Sharia criminal laws adopted by the political and religious leaders in the 12 far north states of Nigeria between 1999-2001. The then President Obasanjo looked the other way and called it political sharia.
The difference between Boko Haram and those who adopted sharia crimimal laws is like the difference between six and half a dozen.

Sanusi and many other northern leaders don't tell the truth about Boko Haram.

Please unearth the video interview between the then gov of Zamfara state, Sani Yerima, and a BBC female reporter who asked Yerima if he didn't understand that the sharia criminal laws introduced by Yerima could lead to breakup of Nigeria.

Number one : Why should Palestine president and his Lebanese counterpart allowed some terrorist group like Hamas and Hezbollah to be operating in their country?

Number two:

Is it that these two groups are too powerful for the Palestinian police and military to arrest? Are they also too powerful for the Lebanese authorities to get them arrested?

For me too, I will advise leaders of this country to assist Israel is tracking and arresting these Terrorist in order to mitigate coloteral damage.

It is everywhere, even those who put on suit and ties, everyone wants to get something from you and it's up to you to know when to say NO. People like dominance and control. Control is where they know you want something and waiting to see how bad you want it. I remember Don Jazzy telling the story of him and Dbanj and why he rejected the Kanye West deal.

It is important to build in kids the value of self love and contentment in life. Do not be desperate for anything in this life, do your best and create your happiness. Never suck up to people to validate what's in you. Do not chase fame, you will end up stressed by its demand.

Those who have seen what happened yesterday will see that what happened in the past is recycling today.

For topic, this diddy saga is so annoying. Diddy was recognized in the industry so it is likely he has associated with a lot of people or they visited him. It does not mean they all slept with people. You guys should stop bringing anecdotes for the sake of it. Trying to frame people because you have the internet is not fair, you wouldn't like it if someone does the same to you. You have no evidence, so stop with unfounded rumors. That's how I saw one that said Kobe died after attending Diddy party, una go just form story for ya head to fantasize. Get a life!

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, read Tinubu’s letter during plenary on Tuesday.

In the letter, Tinubu cited Section 231(1) of the Nigerian Constitution, which empowers him to appoint the CJN based on recommendations from the National Judicial Council, pending Senate approval.

The President expressed confidence in her nomination and urged the Senate to act urgently.

The development comes after President Bola Tinubu wrote the Senate on Tuesday, seeking her confirmation as the CJN.
The same Senate refused to accept President Buhari's nomination of EFCC Chairman, Madu.

The same President Buhari removed CJN Onnoghen depsite the cries that only NJC had the powers to remove him.

They can act within their powers to reject the nominee if they want to. You should listen to the plenary to hear what the senators said to know it's not just a fait accompli even though we know she will be the CJN.

Only if that particular programme is not meant for Yoruba language to be spoken.
Doesn't matter. These are South West stations. They do it to pidgin too. These are gatekeepers the Colonialists left through mental colonialism the way teachers used to punish students for using vernacular. I don't expect an English show to be turned to various languages but to reject your own language for a handed down language is inferiority complex, not exposure.

I listen to South African stations and know how they chime in their language not in phrases but sentences. Ghana and other countries. The people know English is the medium but they may not be able to speak the language and they are not barred.

South Africa has 11 official languages. I even understand why they mix their local languages with English. It is deliberate. Don't think colonialism has totally left, it is the people that have to be fully independent. People don't know British colonized China because they speak their own language. If you think colonial legacy has gone, ask why Southy are asked to use Afrikaans. They were almost discriminated against for entering RyanAir if they could not speak Afrikaans. Let's not lose sight of the politics of language. Macron and his people invested millions for Tinubu to recognize French as Nigeria's official language, why do you think they are so invested in their language and we are giving excuseshuh

Canadians are not doing this because they love you. It is public money to provide service to people as per accessibility and removing barriers to communication. While English and French are their official languages, they still see the need to collect your money through language. They use stats and demography to know what language to provide to you. But that doesn't mean language is not a big deal for them. Why you no go Quebec for Canada go de make noise? You post one bank probably in one branch and say this is the language some banks in Canada approve. Your intent is clear and NL allows it because it lacks proper moderation. This is not about hating anyone. Tate and Ye are far too insignificant and irrelevant in my world for me to bother hating despite their appeal to "stations in Arabia, US, UK" and whoever. As is said, each to their own. He is not mine. And no amount of trying to sell him and his toxicity to me will change that even of he's not found guilty.

My opinion is his influence is toxic. I not only dissociate myself from him and his toxicity, I also wouldn't want him to be my sons' role model, and I definitely wouldn't want him or those he role models anywhere near my daughters. If that happened, I will consider myself a parental failure. And if he influenced me to adopt his toxicity, I'd hope I have the sense to take my self to the bottom of a river and bash my head against a rock so I bleed out slowly and die, after which I cut myself into tiny bits so the poor fish don't choke on my worthless remains!

Come on man! Its not like I'm some stupid teenager, as some have pointed out here, who gets swayed by bling. Why would you expect "stations in Arabia, US, UK" to be my influence on this matter?
You think I am trying to sway you while I am giving you my POV. grin

The Arabia, U.S. context is, while not trying to buy you his love (I don't need to sell him, he doesn't pay me), I am trying to tell you, have you thought that someone will be consistently wrong and have appeal across board? You have your mind made up but have an open mind. No one can be 100%, so I take the Ls and move on. We all view issues based on the amount of information we have, how much we know and our past experiences. Our position can change when new information is presented to us.

The jury is not out on how he himself promoted tricking women to work as slaved for him. But if that is the sort of person you cross your fingers for and choose as a role model, I can only wonder what you teach your own sons, while praying you don't have daughters.

Now, that was unduly harsh of me, and I apologise. But the love-vendor is a swine, even if his clock is correct twice a day, and the only thing about him that appeals to most boys is his ill-gotten wealth, which he will eventually lose when the women he exploited sue him for back pay.
That's why he is in court. And to make his matters 'worse', his actions are online. I am not one who unduly hates or loves people, I am able to dissociate self from other's influence. No one is 99% good and 100% bad. I take what I want and move on. If it is about ill gotten wealth, then the likes of Hushpuppi and those guys are the ones to cite. And you need to understand the demography of those he talks to. If you think he doesn't have appeal, the stations in Arabia, US, UK will not be interviewing him. Let's understand him first before making judgments and the way to do that is to listen and understand through interviews (why I posted those videos). You will notice inconsistencies after 2 interviews or more.

Kanye West may look like a crazy guy due to what the media portrays him as but I can sniff what makes sense from nonsense. I am not one to totally condemn people even if they annoy me with their behaviour. As much as I dislike Portable, I watched one of his interviews and saw the wisdom in his methodology. Self should never be filled in by outsiders, there are enough values and principles to teach my daughters that is not from outsiders they will seek validation or cult acknowledgements.
