A friend of mine gave did an analysis today with different scenarios and possible outcomes. According to him, Atiku will win PDP primaries. GEJ/OBJ will opt out of 2011 election moving their support to the ACN/CPC alliance under Buhari in a free and fair election that will eventually see Buhari becoming the president. I think he is right, Atiku is stronger than GEJ in PDP even with OBJ behind him. Remember in 2007 OBJ had to beg him through the PDP primaries, but OBJ will rather die than live with Atiku as president. As event unfolds, the scenario will continue to change and other possible outcomes will emerge. A good example is the Osun state election court verdict. It is a slap on OBJ as GEJ decided not to influence the process. Will OBj continue to back GEJ? It is complex, really complex.
