Buhari all the way. Come to think of it, that is Owu Central Hotel's poolside in Ibadan. Yeah, I think so! |
Great! A welcomed development. |
This is a positive development. The FGN should be encouraged and the Niger Deltans should reciprocate the good gesture. |

Continued! The energy scenario suggest that oil price is on the increase now (IEA). The fiscal regime support this great investment. I am looking at a Nairaland Marginal Field Team. Anyone in the house? For more information, visit www.paradigmenergysolutions.com More to come! |
More on the marginal field as promised. Trust me on this. This opportunity has nothing to do with politics. All you need is 1. Have a technically sound team made up of oil and gas E & P technocrats. Surprisingly, they abound. 2. Get a good technical partner. They also abound. However because this is a marginal field look towards the eastern world or Canada where most operators are already operating marginal field. 90% of operators in Canada produce less than 5,000 bboe/day. They are used to operating small field often doing less than 1000 bboe/day. They are lean and mean operation-wise. They can come up with low CAPEX, low OPEX field development plans. They will also appreciate such marginal fields unlike the major producers. A foreign technical partner is a must.. However it will be wise to do your due diligence on their financial capability. NO NIGERIAN BANK WILL SUPPORT YOU UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO RE-ENTER AND START PRODUCTION. 3. Develop a good technical submission with the support of your technical partners - Well log data interpretation, check similar formation - Comprehensive FDP -covering subsurface, surface, facility, process optimisation, operations, management, finance - Comprehensive economic modeling and analysis with sensitivity (many innovative options) - Good offer to the farmor - Comprehensive HSE/CD (remember PIB; offer the community a %) Considerations will includes 1. Integrated approach - oil, gas, condensate 2. Flow station, topping plant (1000bbls) to produce AGO, LPG (debutaniser/depropaniser) - thereby reducing energy cost and increasing income 3. Low CAPEX, Low OPEX 4. Unitisation opportunity- shared responsibilities......lower production cost Trust me. Give it a try! Don't believe those STOIP figures, they are estimates. Nigerian fields are known to have upsides. More to come............ |
This is great. Nigerians, yes we can. After all, Britannia U, NDPR, Sogenal, Oriental just to mention a few are doing well. With approximately 240 marginal fields, there will still be more rounds of marginal fields awards in the nearest future. To intending and prospective investors, be smart. Find strong technical partners who will support through the bid process, build a strong and sound technical team because you got to be lean and mean, seek partnership and look for areas you can unitize to bring down cost, look for low cost technology and avoid, I repeat avoid strange bed follows or else legal issues will create problems. Don't be afraid. Forget the STOIP, they are simply estimates as experience has shown that the reserve are more than estimated ask Britannia U and NDPR. Form strategic partnerships and don't be greedy. Remember that 1% of something is something but 100% of nothing is zero. More to come from me, best of luck. From an experienced marginal field investor. Needing help? |

God bless Aliko Dangote. This multi billion dollars integrated projects will definitely have an organic impact on the Nigerian economy no doubt. The largest refinery in Africa, the biggest fertilizer plant in Africa, a private jetty and power plant, an industrial estate and park and perhaps the second largest gas gathering project in Nigeria. To Dangote, I doff my cap. He is futuristic, pragmatic, forward looking and can smell a good investment from a thousand kilometers away. For me, all Nigerians should support this great man, Aliko. To the regulators, let's regulate but also support. To Nigerian government, clear all bureaucracy, to other investors, lets seek vertical and horizontal business opportunities to be created, to communities and other strategic stakeholders let us partner and support our own. Long live Nigeria. |
President Mohammadu Buhari kept it simple, straightforward explicit and short. Nigeria is indivisible and non-negotiable our difference notwithstanding. Nigerians are free to coexist everywhere in Nigeria and trouble makers should desist from sowing seeds of discord. All national issues to be addressed through appropriate existing national institutions - change your senator/rep if you are disenchanted through the polls. Mischief makers will be dealt with. For me, this is a high level speech focusing on the strategic issues most important to the polity. |
Praise Almighty God. Welcome home PMB. Thank you PYO Congratulations all well meaning Nigerians Long live Nigeria. |
As a dedicated and unapologetic supporter of PMB, I join you to thank God for him hemucology: |
Praise God. President Buhari will return to complete his term fully. Long live PMB Long live Nigeria. Great patriot and trustworthy VP Osinbajo |
My President, Mohammadu Buhari will return soon. He will return hale and hearty to resume his role as the President of Nigeria. He will complete his tenure. I am believing God for his complete healing and restoration. Today as always, I prayed for him and had heavens confirmation that God heard and accepted our prayers. Long live PMB Long live Nigeria |
President Mohammadu Buhari will return to Nigeria soon, hale and hearty and he will complete his full term in office. I trust God for his complete healing. |
I am a Buhari supporter without apology. I pray daily for his full recovery not only as our President, but because I also have a aged father and I am looking forward to a healthy elderly living. However, if his health status becomes an impedance to the well being of Nigeria as a nation, I think he should resign honourably. The issue is where do we draw the line. The situation is made complex by the sociopolitical arrangement and the likely distortion this will be about in the polity. |
