Religion / Another South African Teenager Raped By A Foreign Pastor by Parolee: 8:51am On Nov 22, 2018
Newspaper reports mentioned over this past weekend of yet another raping of a South African teenager, 15years old, by a foreign pastor...this time a Ghanaian Pastor.

He was released on bail and is now thought to be a runaway...and worse it is reported he has threatened to kill the young girl.

All this while the matter of Ps Tim Omotoso is on the roll.

In as much as I don't condone the xenophobic attacks against foreign nationals in South Africa...but the acts of these guys really helps nothing to improve things, in fact it makes matters worse.

If fresh xenophobic attacks arise - the acts of these so called pastors should and must be remembered and counted as contributing factors too.

I'm gonna keep asking this question until I get a proper answer. Why would someone travel for more than 6000km and struggle to adapt to the ways of a new country...all of that effort to only open a hair salon? Really? Are the people in Nigeria not in need of hair salons? Something smells fishy here.

Travel all the way from Nigeria to SA to start a church there....have all the people in Negeria been preached to and are they all converted? What about the juju practisioners, abducters etc....to me it would be better to start a church in Nigeria and preach some more over there. Is this not a disguise act of some kind to mask up the real activities that go on in these establishments? A car mechanic SA ....why not over there? Really?

Let's think out of the box here and be real. By the way I do not support the killing of people of any nationality. More so through the so called xenophobia.

Many people have said SAns were also hosted and sheltered by foreign countries during the apartheid struggle era. That is true to some extent. But honestly so now....how many SAns left here to be immigrants in other nations even at that time (apartheid struggle era), we did not leave SA en masse to live abroad ....it was not the entire population that left unlike what we see now. It was only a few individuals. The rest of the peope remained here and were ill treated like hell by the oppressors of the time, you will know the story. Right now the whole of Zimbabwe is in SA...so are the other nationalities. Because of this congestion people become frustrated (only limited opportunities exist) and there are not jobs even for SAns because the economy has slowed down....what hopes then do unskilled foreigners have of finding a job here if SAns themselves are battling to get employed? Zero. Because people have to survive and must survive and because of the expectations back home since someone is said to be abroad then people find themselves hustling and we all know what that means most of the time....drugs /prostitution.

Still I do not support the killing of people through this xenophobia mess. I am of the view that if SAns wish to destroy themselves through drugs and prostitution....let them do so without the help of those we have hosted. When we host people it should be to our improvement and not detriment. I'm making this statement careful not to taint everyone with the same brush. Not generaliding, but it's true there are some really rotten potatoes here. And we all know what those do to the entire bag.

Lastly, we have an oversupply of beautiful women in every corner of SA....so we are not jealous of that odd moment when an SAn girl will fall for a Nigerian dude....same can happen if I could come over there....some Nigerian girls can fall for me and that is nothing to gloat about. Its natural events between people interactions.

The other day I was sitting at OR Tambo International, Jhb observing some guys from East Africa who had just jetted in with heavy luggage that simply told you they were here to stay.....I silently thought to myself that what if their country could just offer them just that little bit more, would they have left? Probably not. I further imagined that what if their country was as tempting for me to pack up and establish myself over there? I believe though that some day we will have an Africa like that....where all the countries would offer something.

I do not support xenophobia though. But those who have settled illegaly so here and are into shady operations....they really need to reconsider.

I have been reading a lot of posts about this xenophobia matter. Most of you are writing about stuff you know nothing about ....just those few pics you see on your tv sets ....mostly biased as well.

I am a South African and I write what I see on the streets daily.

History will tell most of you that SA had been a decent host of immigrants from most of our neighbouring countries. SA has hosted Swazis, BaSothos, BaTswana, Mozambicans for many many decades without a single event of xenophobia. What was different with this group of people that made us to live in peace with them for decades? They are nice people who came to SA to do meaningful jobs, mostly working in mines in and around Gauteng, not chest beating etc. No dealings in drugs and brothels, no. Thats why we lived in peace with them.

Then came the guys from East and West Africa. What did they bring? Opening salons and most disguising as pastors opening churches all over whilst conducting illicit trade in substances and business operations not allowed in SA. That's the main problem. If one wants to open a salon....why not in Lagos? If one wants to open a church why not in Abuja? Are all people converted there? Can't hair be braided or cut over there?

If SAns want to do drugs and prostitution ....let SAns destroy each other with those kind of activities and not through foreigners, no. Thats the end of story.

Finaly, if you ever been in SA you will be amazed at the number of foreigners here....Chinese, Ethiopians, Sudanese, Zimbabweans, Congolese, Ghanains, Nigerians, Swazis, Mozambicans, Basothos etc....its just too congested.

For the record, we don't fear Nigerians taking our women....there's just too many supplies of those.

I have read all posts here by Nigerians and I am surprised by this statement....SAns are jeolous of Nigeria/Nigerians....

Though SA is no paradise but I see NOTHING at all, zero, which SAns can be jeolous of concerning Nigeria/Nigerians....the two are uncomparable, so where is the jeolousy coming from? Usually its the lesser one who is jeolous of the better one and not vice versa...and we all know who the better one is. Stop fooling yourselves.

In SA the women are much more in numbers than the men....so how can we be jeolous if the supply is way more than the demand?

As for jobs....even SAns battle to find jobs here, so which job opportunities are jeolous of because to start with there are not any available? Actually, you guys should stop coming over here for job opportunities cos there aint any. We have nothing to be jeolous of in that regard.

I cant be jeolous of a guy who travelled many kms down here to cut people's hair or trim people's gardens. Not a chance.

I cant be jeolous of a guy who comes down here and have a girlfriend whereas the supply is way more than the demand...

Actually what do you guys say we are jeolous of concerning Nigeria/Nigerians?? Dont even dare mention economy and development. Dont go there.

What they didn't tell you is that feeding in Ghana is hellish. Trust me, you will remember your homeland. A can of Amstel Malt is 4 Ghana Cedis, can you beat that?. Bathroom slippers is 4 Ghana Cedis, Big Eva Bottle water is 2.5 Ghana Cedis. I can list it on and on. Ghana is not what it used to be, things has changed. I don't like Ghana and I mean no insult. Nigeria economy is still very much prettier than that of Ghana. The only country you can compare Nigeria with in Africa is South Africa and I stand to be corrected and open to be instructed. Just prepare to eat their Okra soup with Tilapia fish, Palm nut soup, Kenke, Banku, Tuna fish, etc. O boy, naija food cost wella. You go miss home die, couple with the sun eh! Kwame and Nana go use you eat their breakfast in the morning, even Kojo and Mensa go do fake resident permit for you if you wan open bank account there. Naija boys don spoil GH. Beg no go Circle, Osun, Kole Gono, Labaddin beach, Adabraka, etc for night oo! Achama is a dangerous place for a cool headed guy like you. Let me greet you in a Phanti language, "Akwaaba!".

It is absolutely and completely wrong for you to even begin to say in Africa, South Africa is the only country you can compare with Nigeria.....false.

There's no comparisons between the two....SA is miles ahead of everyone on the continent....simple.

Since ur not Nigerian, the more reason u should mind ur damn business.
Never judge a book by its cover. Never! !

Now you are missing the point completely. The issue is how do we get Nigerians not to get to the kind of mischief they almost always get into when they are on other people"s countries?

That should be the focal point ....your reaction does nothing to rectify this problem.

Truth be said, Nigeria has bright future in compare to South Africa. We might be behind now but I see us filling the gap very soon. The number of problem Nigeria faces here, South Africa can't withstand half of it. I only blame our leaders for holding us behind. I pray Buhari do the needful and save our good name. #IBealiveInNigeria*

When is "very soon"?

I'm not sure what you actually mean - the best will be for each nation to work towards betterment of society and advancement in all spheres of life rather than comparing.

It is highly unlikely that SA will be surpassed in many indexes of development by any African country - it will take rather a very long period for that to happen.

Take for instance the energy sector. Soon SA will be producing up to 55000MW of electricity - which other African country can do that in the next 20years?

S/Africa is great, great enough to be Nigerians' haven

The unpleasant part of it is that S/Africa is gradually loosing it.

Well signs that point to danger are there....but loosing it, not yet. In some sectors actually SA is growing very strong.

Funny enough, I never knew they existed.

in any case....i dont understand this your reasoning.....chances were slim that you were gonna know about them since they operated only two outlets in a country of over 170mil people....worse if you live in the deep rural areas....

Nobody cares, even in south africa, south africans hardly patronize them. They prefer Mr price made for the masses.

Be careful not to talk of what you know nothing about....we live in the information age era. Just google or whatever to see and be amazed at the number of outlest Truworths have in SA and then talk again.

Ignorance, ignorance, ignorance.

The amount is far too small

It is too little for sure - for a competition that goes on for almost 10months? No..!

In SA the Premiership winning side at the moment gets about N120m (which translates to about R 8m).

Sponsors must come on board!!!!
