it's actually wrong. The reason Barry was in that room was because he followed the reverse flash back in time after he found out that the reverse flash was going to kill his younger self, future flash/Barry intervened by taking his younger self out of the house. Angered by this the reverse flash killed his mom and framed his dad because he thought a family tragedy will cause Barry not becoming the flash but then the reverse flash lost his connection to the speed force and learning that professor wells was responsible for creating the flash in the future, he killed the man and impersonated him, caused the particle accelerator explosion earlier than it was supposed to explode thus creating the flash because he needed his speed to get back to his own time.

The mardon brothers become weather wizards because of the scenario they found themselves in and not about how they had certain genes. Barry was struck by lightning and together with his lab chemicals and the part accelerator, he became a speedster. Just like the other meta humans that turned. It has to do with what they came in contact with.

Again Barry's mom has nothing to do with him becoming the flash in this TV series.

Ronnie and Professor Stein were affected by the particle accelerator, did they gained super speed? What the particle accelerator did was to release the meta human gene in those who possessed it. The meta gene then gives theperson special abilities in accordance to its immediate environment.

Secondly non of the other meta humans were struck by lightning and doused in chemicals, there just affected by the particle accelerator explosion.

There is only one speed force. The speed force is only connected to Barry and not other meta humans.

The particle accelaerator activated a meta gene in Barry. The PA DID not give Barry a meta gene.


Yes you can say that without the PA there will be no flash and hence no speed force.

@the bolded is what I have been saying all along, without the particle accelerator explosion, there is no flash and no speed force.

The only flash with a meta human dna is actually Bart Allen(kid flash) and not Barry. The particle accelerator explosion combined with the lighting and the chemicals in the lab created the flash and not some meta gene in him. In the comics, that's exactly how just like Barry, Wally became the flash. You can prove me wrong though!!.

Barry's mom has nothing to do with him becoming the flash, in fact the death of his mom was as a result of the reverse flash hating the flash and thus decided to enact some sort of revenge.

Barry is not the prime flash or whatever you call him. Who knows who is the flash in earth 3 or 4 or 5? It might be Wally, Bart, Barry even, or Jay or Eddie or anyone who was struck by the particle accelerator explosion which is what they have in common.


Wally's story was tweaked by the producers, same way they made Connor hawke the son of diggle instead of Oliver Queen. They don't always follow the comics.


The particle accelerator explosion created the flash and not the lightning nor the chemicals, sure he was struck by lightning but the addition of the chemicals plus the particle accelerator explosion created the flash. Without the particle accelerator explosion, he won't be the flash just another dude struck by lightning. Think of the particle accelerator explosion as a person who has with him a match box, a can of pms and some trash, now the person wants to burn the trash with fire and fuel. Now without the person, the match box can't light itself to create fire and the fuel won't pour on the trash by itself but when you add the person, you get the desired result. The person lights up the match stick, pours the fuel on the trash and then lights up the thrash. The person is the particle accelerator explosion in this case and without him/it there will be no fire/flash.

Its like saying a kryptonian is not powered by a yellow sun or the martian manhunter is not afraid of fire just because the comics is different from the TV show. The origin stories of comic characters are a strictly followed.

The particle accelerator explosion is more than a catalyst. Alongside the thunder storm and the chemicals in Barry's lab, the particle accelerator created the flash and the speed force and not the thunder and chemicals themselves. Remember that earth 2 Barry Allen is just a regular guy and that the particle accelerator explosion made Jay garrick/zoom instead. The particle accelerator explosion in earth one created the speed force and the flash just like it created zoom in earth two and whoever is the flash in earth 3. The TV series do not necessarily follow the comics else Wally West should be the nephew of iris West and not her brother.

You are still not getting it are you? In the flash TV show the particle accelerator created the flash alongside all the other meta humans. Eobard Thawne impersonated Harrison Wells and purposely let the particle accelerator explode just like it did in earth 2 thus creating zoom. Barry didn't create the speed force, the particle accelerator did. Remember the particle accelerator was supposed to explode in 2020 which will then create the flash but Eobard wanted to get back to his own time and that's the reason he impersonated wells and brought forward the particle accelerator explosion to 2014. Yes Barry has a special connection to the speed force but he didn't create it.Take it or leave it.

That's the comics, we are talking about the TV series and here, the particle accelerator creates the flash and almost all the other speedsters with the exception of trajectory and Jay garrick.

if you mean the reverse flash then it's because unlike the flash, his connection to the speed force is temporary.

How is it that zoom can sense dimensional rifts magically. Zoom doesn't have earth two sisco anymore.

Zoom claims that it is.his plan all along to kidnap wally west. Let's still watch out for that plan.

During eobard Thorne and Barry fight, jay garrik/hunter zolomon's cap fell out from the worm hole in the last episode season one. I am yet to see the connection

So I was partial right afterall but i still feel they played a fast one on us, because, which one is “time remnant” again? what i know is that if you kill a younger version of yourself you( the present you) will auto-erase from existence. and i don't know if am the only one on this, this episode doesn't really play well to logic.

Zoom fricking release wally west while '4 times faster flash' and speedster-killer-gun was being held by 3 gun experienced people.

this episode makes me sick of flash, comeon!!! they should know that adults too watch this film now!!!!

Just like how Eobard thawne was still able to come back from the future despite being killed in the present. The point is that the future happened despite whatever happened in the present. Reverse flash came back from the future and found out about the flash, went back further into the past, killed Harrison Wells and took over his appearance and company, caused the particle accelerator to explode thus creating the flash.

About Barry giving zoom his speed despite being faster than him and also releasing Wally, it's simple logic. Zoom is a speedster so unless you trap him like Barry did earlier when he shot him up with whatever stuff that was,(which he still escaped from) you have no chance. He can phase through any wall or their meta humans prison and will in fact kill Wally and kidnap either of Cisco, caitlin, Joe, Wells, or iris and it's back to square one. You don't double cross a serial killer when you have so much to lose.

Only the spectre in that your list can match the living tribunal. This guy answers only to God(the one above all) and he isn't even tied to any universe, he's omnipresent, his powers are limitless.
