jennykadry: Shut up, where did you read my mum only? I said my parents. Keep contradicting yourself. Yes talk about the young boys who carry guns daily in Nigeria to survive. That is what that useless country that has long been forsaken and should be sold out to other african countries, has turned young boys into....criminals and armed robbers.

My parents are adults with options and when BH strikes they must leave for their adopted countries unlike you mere child with no option but to stay and await the day BH get to your door mouth.
lol, easy on the small dude,he has a myopic view about naija.....

Goldenboy007: I reply messages like this to amuse myself. I am sorry for people like you because your mentality has been dented by your situation! I have worked in MTN and I moved to Capital One Bank in US ,I am now with Verizon Wireless US. It's because of insults from nuisances like you I remain anonymous. My friend left the almighty Mobil Nigeria to relocate to US, He works as a Senior Financial Analyst also in Verizon now. Google how much a financial analyst gets in Verizon!
To the rest of you that have a negative view about US or these countries, I will tell you today - it's a blessing to have an opportunity to leave Nigeria. I am not saying anywhere is paradise but comparing life in US to Nigeria is like comparing sleep with death!
Pray God gives you that opportunity to migrate legally and the sky is the limit! Our leaders have intentional put us in bondage in Nigeria but it seems the citizens are ok with it, that's why someone can talk the way you talk. Thousands of hard working graduates died in a rouse of an employment scam by a government agency and one of them could have been my family! I will not let my unborn children grow up thinking generator is part of their lives, where education is worthless, where corruption is celebrated and most of all grow up with inferiority complex like you or your fellow losers! I may have been very comfortable in Nigeria by your standards but an adage says - A rich man in the midst of poverty is nothing but a king of poverty. I live in Chicago and anybody can confirm all I claim to be! I don't want to sound boastful because God gives all but people like you make one to say more than intended. I am not saying people in Nigeria will never make it but never neglect a chance to broaden your horizon and spread your wings! Its a big world out there waiting for you to conquer!
what a lovely write up,the guy is confused and thinks the peanut he is earning is the end of life....

majekdom2: I am an engineering graduate and I was not fo once forced to buy a text . my issue is the way some fols on here talk down Nigeria and talked liked the country has no iotre of good. like one dude said , you hardly hear togolese condemn their country. one dude was like population , that people just dey born ..... I asked him if he challenged his father for givin birth to him. if the white man never invented airplanes or ships , or never brought education to nigeria would they be here talking shit. some youths are better with skilled labour jobs , but they too just wanna be a degree holder .... the " WANNA BE SYNDROME " is what is killing us .... thats why some wanna travel and go do shits abroad. I have been watching inside africa on CNN over time , hardly , have I seen a nigerian who came from abroad interviewed ... but very well with other countries ... and here they are condemning nigeria like its full of no good people..... and they still encourage the "bad nigerians" to travel out. I dont understand really. I love international exposure but not to make me look down on my country and talk shit . if nigeria is not a place to dwell I don't think the expats willing to relocate to nigeria will be doing that.
are u saying those unemployed graduates are not qualified which causes the reason for their unemployment?u see ur life again?if u are lucky to get a peanut job which makes u think u are better than the unemployed graduates in naija it shows how shallow minded u are......

majekdom2: who are they you people ?are they not people like you dieing to grow abroad? Ibori the former govenor you metioned was convicted for theft in the uk in 1991 or so .... that was long before he even dreamed of being a governor ... he was seeking greener pastures like you in 91. thats why some come back to do politics... this same people talking down Nigeria seeking greener pastures. can you see now . the best thing the government can so is make people like you sign that they will not come back no matter what ..... and see if the country will not be better. FYI .... dont think anybody will help you on here to find your way abroad. infact , some of them might be able to accomodate you , but they will not . those that will , will be thinking you have some good cash with you . thats the truth.
stop spewing trash, when it comes to travelling u know nothing about it...what surprises me most was when u mentioned SA is visa free to UK.
So travelling out of the country is now a crime for govt to set a law dat u must sign that u are not coming back again?u see ur life?
When it comes to accomodation in UK and US i hv no problem about dat because u don't know the real me.....

majekdom2: bro , I rest my mouth for the matter . we are all diff in our thinking and orientations. we grew up in diff environments and I appreciate everyone's diversities and opinion in this issue. I usually do not condemn a situation I really am doing nothing to change. if we keep condemmning these leaders it changes nothing, they are used to it. I also do not blame the government all the time for my woes like many do because I know I might not do better if am there. Like I said , if your uncle turns president, I know these stories you just put up will change. am sure if they ask many youth about their government at the embassy , they gonna say poo about the government.... I can bet you ll loose out in that application. all am saying is if you have got no capability , or no legitimate means to go abroad , why dont you stay in your country rather than do the odds over there.
second, we should mind how we talk about our nation. I know its a terrible situation but our words atimes makes it worse.
bro , as na obodo oyinbo ur mind dey. no wahala.all the best.
so because if we condemn them it changes nothing,we should continue to ignore how they are embarassing us all over the world and looting the country dry?

majekdom2: oh go become a nuisance over there and lets see what you ll make of yourself in the 50 years time you just said.
see ur mouth like nuisance, maybe u shd ask your stupid politicians that are disgracing us in abroad examples like alameshigha, james ibori, and ur so called president that claims corruption is mere stealing and can u tell me what happened to 9.6million dollars found in ur CAN president jet in SA ?is dat not an embarassment to nigerian?or u think those westerners don't know how reckless our leaders are?

manny4life: I can see your hypocrisy, you afforded to suck the white man's blockus, made your children have red passport, meanwhile they aren't in Nigeria... I dare you to renounce their citizenship and come back 20 years after and tell me if they won't swear for you if things remains the same... Shioor. For some, they'd rather suck that blockus and be happy and content being a second class citizen than to be a third world citizen in their home country.. Which is worse?
God bless u,the guy suppose to bury is head in shame, imagine he has children who are british citizen in UK and he is here spewing trash about not leaving naija....
TravelRe: On Nigerians And The 'must Travel Mentality' by Pasca07: 1:42pm On Sep 29, 2014
feedthenation: A lot have been discussed on this important topic with different views all good measures.

I guess it all narrows down to personal views and experiences. In my humble case - it's a personal choice. I have been priviledged to visit other parts of the world, do business and presently involved in consulting. Things are organised and they value time-keeping very much, these two attributes are total alien to an average Nigerian. What we have in Nigeria is 'chaos raised to the power 10'.

What still strike me is that an average Nigerian have got more passion about a better Nigeria, however our politicians have a total different view point. Most of their families are based all over Europe and US. They launder the country's resources on investments in other parts of the world (US, UK, Switzerland, South Africa and the latest happening city - Dubai). If they have common cold, they are on the next available flight to Europe, yet our hospitals are glorified dispensaries. Their children all schooled in private institutions and universities, yet our various educational establishments have been reduced to mere playgrounds. Every holiday period is spent in choice vacation hotspots around the world.

Now, the question I have for the pro-camp is that, if our politicians themselves are not proud of Nigeria, how can they expect ordinary folks to be proud of the nation, where basic amenities are at a premium - light, water, efficient transportation links, security, affordable healthcare, guys these listed 5 things are not rocket science that can't be provided with the abundance of resources we have in Nigeria. Our politicians both past and present are just very wicked. At least they travel over the world and see how things are done, why can't they replicate just a fraction of these here in Nigeria.

The truth is we Nigerians are the most cultured people in the world, we don't expect Nigeria to be El-dorado overnight, however all we just want is for a country that places 'high value' on its citizens. If the country can provide the 5 listed items in the preceding paragraph, I won't be surprised if 60% of Nigerians in diaspora relocating back to the country.
God bless u for dis valid point.....maybe the guy expect a graduate dat earn 30k per month to provide tap water, electricity, good roads and adequate facilities to all our hospitals in nigeria while the f.oolish politicians loot all our resource and spend most of their lives in abroad....
TravelRe: On Nigerians And The 'must Travel Mentality' by Pasca07: 11:02am On Sep 29, 2014
majekdom2: Sis , I dont expect you to list ... obviousy you can tell someone who is impacting. you only weep for them , have you tried to help them out of the country or put them in schools. I am not saying critcsm is wrong but progressive criticsm , thats what the likes of dora did . with the patriotic my behind statement , you are a person of words not action. my parents and I are philantropits , we critiise the governments but we dont call the country useless. such statements discourages those willing to better the situation.
see ur mouth like u are a philanthopist......what is bad is bad and stop being a nuisance on this thread......

MenGoingThereWay: People are affecting the life of the leSs privilege in there own various way and just because pple don't make noise about there contributions doesn't mean they are not doing it after all ur help to the leSs privileged shouldn't b something to brag about.

We are talking about pple who want a better life, people who want to live not just survive like the way Nigeria has cursed its citizens too.

Mr if truely u care about the less privilege, then u will come to d fact that naija is Useless because it takes one with a heart for d less privilege to see that naija is screwed and that Nigerians at home directly or indirectly are less privileged..including urself for ur child can be kidnapped or u can b assaulted by foreigners and just because ur a common man ur cased will b closed u don't get justice and ur child not found.

Mr man I think u should lift both hands up to God and thank him for ur life or better still stop talking until u get to understand the pain of that jobleSs youth, that man in pains in d hospital been neglected as a result of medical strike or cos he doesn't have money to give nurses so he can be catered for, the man who lost a leg due to bad roads, employees who get abused by foreign bosses, hungry old men and women because of pension embezzlement and many more.
