What is the percentage of Nigerian wasting money on worthless American college degrees , spending millions giving birth in US. hospitals, millions on accident cars those broke ass Nigerians in America cheat us in order to complete their monthly rent payment compare to the pocket change you send via Money Gram. Nigerians living in America are broke so deal with it.
you see how useless u are? U failed woefully to answer simple basic 2 question.did I asked you about the percentage of students that paid for America college degrees? No wonder you have been spewing thrash on this thread ...

The funniest and most expensive joke I have heard from Nigerians doing menial jobs in the US. and earning between $1,500- $2,000, is claiming that they are richer than bank managers in Nigeria. I guess they make their money in America while spending it in Nigeria. This stupid joke need to stop. A Nigerian doing menial job in the US. at best can be compare to someone receiving 80,000 Monthly in Nigeria in purchasing power. A Nigerian doing odd jobs for 10 yrs will still be paying rent while a 10 yrs bank manager would have long built two to three houses with a lucrative investment. Nigerians in America need to stop converting currencies because it is clearly stated that if you earn $12,000 annually in America you are living in poverty
you are only fooling yourself on this thread, answer this question what is the percentage of Nigerians in America that send money back home through western union or moneygram compare to Nigerians working in naija that send to US?

Not just Benin or delta, accommodation is also affordable in places like Jos, Kd and kano.
so all Nigerians should move to the state you mentioned? have you consider job opportunities in those states you mentioned?

Job is difficult in Naija, whether private or public universities. But don't waste it money and time in private university, it doesn't Worth it. No foreign institution recognizes private university. Talking from experience when I was securing admission for my younger one in Germany.
so private university graduates find it difficult to gain admission into foreign universities?

SUCCESSFULLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES FOR NPOWER JOBS The disqualification of successfully shortlisted candidates selected for the Npower programme has been confirmed and it is coming as shocking news to many who are yet to come to terms with this new development. Hundreds of candidates who were previously selected in the first batch of 200,000 candidates have been disqualified. I never believe this but these will apply to all those having payment issues. It is indeed a heart break for all who taught they have gotten a federal government paying job only to hear that they have been disqualified remember most shortlisted candidates’ went for the verification at their various local government areas with their credentials and till now some are yet to be paid. Information reaching us is that those candidates who are yet to be paid have been disqualified. The candidates disqualified were for obvious reasons including over age, wrong information, mutilated certificates, while some do not have the certificate they claimed to have. Another thing used by Npower officials is the CBN Bank Verification Number- BVN which was used to ascertain if the candidates have other employment elsewhere, hence if they have a salary account and to know their true date of birth- age. From my investigation if you are born above 1984 or 1985, you will be disqualified and hence will not receive the monthly payment of N30, 000. You can see that this may be true as some candidates have already receive both December 2016 and January 2017 payment, while some are yet to receive any. So contact the Npower officials in your state for verification and clarification on this matter The slot of candidates disqualified will be filled up from the second batch list expected or a new registration will be done but subject to approval from the presidency. 2 hrs · N-Power Volunteer.

That was what Sanusi did the last time. That's the stuff they call 'defending the naira'. It's an archaic monetary instrument. He simply emptied the foreign reserves despite warnings from the IMF. (Ironically, the same Sanusi is their in Kano trying to warn Buhari of something similar.)

The dollar is an internationally traded currency. What you'll see (which happened in Sanusi's time) is that speculators will buy up the 'liquid' dollars being 'pumped' out by the FG and resell in arbitrage trading either in the country or in other jurisdictions.

It was foolish the last time Sanusi did, it is foolish right now, it'll be foolish in the future.

Emefiele remains a docile guy. He lacks self confidence because he didn't dream of ever becoming a CBN governor. He had the temerity to say they are not doing complete floating policy, he mentioned something like 'guided floating'. It is still the same 'mediaval' policy of controlling the exchange rate that has pushed the rates beyond tolerable limits. There's no where this policy has worked efficiently.

The last part of your post is a blatant fallacy. Exchange rate is a function of demand and supply of foreign currency, AND speculation. You have only mentioned one aspect of the three indices. There are more suppressed demand right now that it would be foolish to expect the dollar exchange rate to be back to $1/N200 if the crude oil price rises.

In any case, the crude oil price has risen from the low of $27 to the current $55 in less than 2 years and exchange rate keeps rising. What is responsible for this?

Modern nations don't suppress demand of foreign goods by banning items, neither do they control supply by 'pumping liquid dollars'. They do these things with both fiscal and monetary instruments. Increase tarrifs on luxury items would have a desired effect on consumption of same without disruptions in the system than the nonsense they are doing now. Similarly, allowing free flow of capital (both inward and outward) would encourage foreign capital inflow than waiting endlessly for the price of crude oil to rise (something you have absolutely no control over) which may not rise in months or years.
well said but does this new policy gives students that want to study abroad chance to pay school fees through Form A at official rate?

If the University of Ibadan should begin listing her Alumni, do you feel OAU stands a chance?

Here are some of ours at the University of Ibadan:

- Iyabo Obasanjo Bello
- Femi Osofisan
- Wole Soyinka
- Chinua Achebe
- Dr Sid
- Sunday Ehindero
- William Kumuyi
- Olagunsoye Oyinlola
- Niyi Osundare
- Afeez Oyetoro (Simply Saka)
- Gamaliel Onosode
- Christopher Okigbo
- Bimbo Odukoya
- Nikki Laoye
- Eyitayo Lambo
- Funmi Iyanda
- Amaka Igwe
- Adebayo Faleti
- Tam David West
- Beautiful Nubia
- Eniola Badmus
- Grace Alele Williams
- Bimbo Akintola
- Gabriel Afolayan
- Ayo Adesanya

Essentially and succinctly put, we do not make inconsequential noise at UI. The track record speaks for itself. Just accept it as it is.

When a student tells you he/she is a student at the University of Ibadan...you just accord that respect.

Ko easy.
chai see the way you finished the guy.. you are right they are noise maker
