RedReact:@Red React, Thanks for the assistance.I work with government and I have a business by the side that she hadn't been involved in. What do I do from here as I have been thinking whether her unemployment status would have a negative effect on my application. Pls guys guide me accordingly. In addition to this, I have an American visa(twice), UK(TWICE),DUBAI while she has been to America, dubai and currently has a running American visa. How does all of this positively affect the application. |
Hello guys, I am applying with my family members and my wife is currently unemployed having lost her job due to the current conditions in Nigeria. Hope putting in unemployed in her employment details as required on her application wouldn't hurt her application. I am the sponsor and my finances is on point. How can I address this naughty issue now to mitigate any hurt if any. Your words of advise would be highly appreciated |
jayfierce:Thanks man. i appreciate |

Hello all. Pls justwise and all, I have been a silent follower and reader of this thread and I have gained a lot. I used the information I got here to apply for my two(2) years visa and I just got it today. However, when I opened my documents, I realised that a sensitive document like the Confirmation of my appointment ISSUED by my employer was not returned to me. My question is how can I retrieve the document? the document is very important and I wonder why they missed sending it back with other official documents I submitted. Pls house, how can I get this back? do I need to write or visit Teleperformance on the issue? or do I need to write the embassy and intimate them of the issue? All suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. |
ojay007:Ok. Thanks. Do U have any travel experience? |
ojay007:Congrats.Where did U submit?ikeja or vi? |
mabels:I understand why Tvegas is asking all these questions. Did my interview in Lagos last year and at biometrics ,my passport was taken from me and distributed with others amongst the ECO's. It is when my number is called or flashed by the system , I went to the appropriate counter and was interviewed and the Eco brought out my passport. Maybe things have changed. Congrats |
U must be a very myopic, self centred and narrow minded bigot.Do you need to come from a place or wear a particular dress to effectually represent people? Have U cared to check whether those areas the 'unwanted persons' won still have people you feel its their birth right to represent the areas in the majority again? Have U seen your constitution before to see the requirement for contesting elections or acquiring rights to stand elections in a particular area? Pls think before U speak. The world is evolving. In the British house of commons, 3persons of Nigerian heritage are members. |
Pesuzok:Where did U apply at? ikeja or Victoria island? |

Hello guys, I want to commend you gurus on the job u guys are doing here. Months ago I sought enquiries on whether a visa could be issued to me bearing in mind my circumstance then. I had been an over stayed in the UK my visa and had misrepresented facts when I reapplied and was denied 3 times. I had enquired whether with my situation, I would be given a visa under my circumstance. I was told by so many people that I had been banned for 10 years and I shouldn't even try to apply. Kindly note that I had served my 1 year ban as an overstayer. Some knowledgeable person said I will be throwing my money into the bin if I continue applying. I was distraught but I wasn't defeated when it comes to trying. I was nominated by my organisation for a course mid year in the UK. I had to put in an application. Luckily , I was given a visa. Upon arrival at Heathrow, I was delayed for about 30 mins but was allowed to go in after clarifications/investigations inside their office. I went for my training and left. I learnt my lessons. what lessons did I learn? my viewpoint to situations like mine is that its not every misdemeanour that you commit that attracts 10 years ban. People must be able to assess their infractions and give an application a try. I learnt a lot here and I used the information I got from this forum to fill my form and state my situation in the space for additional information and explained in clear details every bit of my situation and I think that apart from God in situations like this, my explanation would have aided my application. |
Hello my guys. I need to give back to the forum that gave me everything I used today . Today was my interview date with my family at the American Consulate, Lagos. This is the transcript of how my interview went. Vo: Good morning me: Good morning Vo: why are you visiting the us: me: Vacation Vo: are you visiting any relative? me: yes Vo: what's her occupation? me: I mentioned VO: When last did u see her? Me: I mentioned Vo: what do you do? Me: I mentioned Vo: what is your wage? me: I mentioned Vo: how long have you worked there? me: I answered turns to my wife and asked her Vo: what do you do: my wife: she answered Vo: what's your wage? My wife: she answered Vo: how long have you been working: my wife: she answered Vo: would you be seeking medical help in the us? we: answered no Vo: would you be giving birth in the Us? we: answered that she isn't pregnant. she then said pick up your passport at the DHL office in VI on Thursday. my observation: i noticed that people that had travelled before were given visas today . so many people on virgin passports were denied. people with virgin passports but had good jobs were given after much stress and questions. Also ,most elderly people were refused. I didn't know why. Above all, thanks to God almighty. its not how smart one is but the grace of God. I had learnt everything here. deployed my time and resources to this page and it really helped me . DRESS SMARTLY ALSO . I DONT ENCOURAGE PEOPLE WEARING JEANS OR DRESSING IMPROPERLY. Thanks guys . I am so indebted to you guys. God bless |
