rusher14: Pharmacists Oath
"I have come to recognize and accept my role as a Pharmacist. I therefore solemnly and truthfully pledge MYSELF to devote my life to the service of mankind.
I do pledge to serve directly or indirectly in the team for Health Care delivery.
I will perform my services and duties with devotion, dignity, discretion, and honour.
My colleagues will surely be respected for their opinion and I will feel free in consultation with them.
However, I do consider the health of the patient or patrons above all and will abstain from whatever may be deleterious to the health.
I will also keep in confidence whatever information which directly or indirectly I may have through my professional service concerning the life and health of people.
I will sustain my respect for human life at all stages.
I will not use my knowledge of drugs, diseases, and medicine contrary to the laws of humanity.
I will provide such facilities and environment, which will enhance the desirable growth of my service.
I will indeed refrain from self-advertisement.
It is with solemnity and honour that I freely and publicly make these PLEDGES. So help me GOD.
I have said it that only in Nigeria would you find people putting up such defence. Don't you guys get tired of supporting evil? Would your society evolve for the better with your view point?
Thanks for giving the idiot this simple answer...He couldn't use his brain to know that pharmaceutical companies and pharmacist have responsibility to control certain drugs from being sold to the general public(Emzor, nd the likes along with their personnel, who at a time might have sworn to this oath have breached these)...I pray Nigerians realize oneday that we all have collective effort to move this country forward. The same attitude the guy portrayed is what lot of us portray while government is fighting corruption. I keep saying it, Nigerians do not deserve a better Nigeria... |

I believe so much in Nigeria because buried beneath all the corruption and political noise are a crop of fine, exceptional and brilliant young potentials. We have recognized all the problems, good! Throwback: Why is our darling Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala engaging in media trial? How dare she reveal this information to disgrace and humiliate our hero of democracy?
Ngozi will soon be termed an Afonja, Jihadist and Zombie for not seeing that Jonathan was a saint who could never steal, and who employed only the best hands into positions.
Why Jonathan's head is not hanging on a pike at the entry point into Abuja city, is one of the many reasons I consider Buhari to be a spineless failure himself.
Jonathan was a thief and an inglorious bastard and enemy of the state, who was determined that corruption is a Nigerian culture that must never die.
He went about campaigning for reelection as the candidate who will not arrest out parents for corruption.
He even had the audacity to ask in Enugu that "How much did Jim Nwobodo stole ($5m) that Buhari (military) regime jailed him".
Any electorate who continued to support Jonathan after that statement, deserves the rot called Nigeria, and deserved all the hardship that has been experienced since then as a consequence of that kleptomaniac regime that did not save even just 1kobo from all revenue that it earned, but rather bankrupted the economy. Oga writer...May your life continue to progress with this write up...Infact...you will prosper!!! The truth is Nigerians deserve a terrible Nigeria...Eventhough I belive Buhari messed up bigtime, Jonathan is a major failure and his action and inaction could have grounded this country..He sold oil for about $114P/B and not a single saving was realised..He almost turned this country to the world Capial of corruption. I pray our youth receive sense...smh |

mannyiyke: It's not true. This govt doesn't make neccesary investigations before charging d accused to court. And u don't expect a judge to convict d accused based on frivolous allegations. Most of d accused took d money from Office of d NSA to do d bidding of d PDP. They were not directly involved. D cases should have been strong/weighty if d fmr president who authorized d withdrawals was arrested. Those accused persons acted on his order, and this present govt knows. So, it'll be a miscarriage of justice if d judges convict d accused persons who didn't just go directly to d govt coffers and stole d money. Besides, it's still applicable to d APC. Buhari is also guilty, cos he also collected money from d NSA. You want to investigate a 20billion Dollar thief without arresting him? Haba! Even if na you be the thief, wont you have run out of the country to evade justice? And our culture is not helping matter with investigation. We will rather shield a mega corrupt govt official from getting jailed (with the hope of getting our own share from him)than assist government to bring him to justice. Mark my word, no sane human can rid Nigeria of curroption again(at least in this republic) Obasanjo has the chance but he messed up along the line. ewa20buredi100: Hi, I need your advice or counsel on this issue that has been giving me sleepless night. I am sharing this on nairaland because i feel there are men and women of mature minds and who have lots of experiences on here from diverse walks of life who can be of help.
I have been unemployed for almost 10months now, though before now i worked as a Chemistry teacher for some years until tragedy struck early last year(lost a very vital person in my life). I had to quit the teaching job (because the incident happened at the time where the senior students were preparing for their WASSCE) and as the first born i had funeral rites to perform. After the burial things weren't too pleasant with me, so i had to re-locate from Lagos to Benin (to stay with an Uncle). My plan was that after everything i would go for any professional course or do one of these HSE courses to boost my chances of getting a job, but due to re-location and financial constraint i had to think of something else.
It happens that where i am currently staying in Benin; along Benin-Agbor road, close to NNPC depot before Benin-Agbor by-pass; has this influx of trailers and heavy duty trucks transporting goods and PMS/diesel/coaltar to and from other states. Hence the availability of lots of truck's spare-parts markets in the area as well truck mechanics with shops everywhere dealing in repairs of different types of truck (Scania, MACK, M.A.N diesel, etc).
Being that i have been idle for a while now, a thought just came to me that instead of staying idle why not apply to be a Diesel Injector engine mechanic apprentice.
I want to know if that thought is worth giving a try and what are the things that may likely happen being that i did not read an engineering course from the University and what may become of my life. I am 28years of age.
Please help a brother by pushing it to front page mod. 1forall My Honest advice, Yes, go for it and know it like nobody's business. Then make effort to travel to Canada with the skill..100%, your life will change dramatically for better |

Every importer on this forum knows exactly how much duty you pay for a 2012 vehicle. Even if it’s a China made car. The last time I cleared 2011 vehicle, I paid a little above 1million. So I guess his own Hyundai was stolen in America, and shipped for free and smuggled out of port. I have quoted my price and reasonable individual that is intrested should contact and negotiate thier best price. This is market my brother there is no fight. |

Populus: I have a Toyota Camry 2001 (Drop Light). I was advised to change the shock absorbers when I noticed some funny noises each time the car bumped into a gallop. I changed the four shock absorbers in March 2017 and didn't really get value for money because the noise only reduced rather than disapear. I complained to my mechanic and that I wanted a new shock absorber and he told me a tokunbo is far better because the new ones don't last. Now I changed the shock absorbers again last month (October 2017) and it's even worse off! PLEASE I need to know: 1. Is a tokunbo shock absorber truly better than a new one? (Although I think a new one should be better) 2. Where in Festac Town can I get a good mechanic? (Not the flambouyant autoshops that know next to nothing speaking grammer in their air conditioned office.) 3. Where can I get very good shock absorbers? (New or Tokunbo) Note:The ones fitted in my car where bought from Ladipo Market! 4. What is the price range for these Shock absorbers?
GAZZUZZ, CarDoctor et al. Your Input will be highly appreciated. There is a particular support rubber connecting the body to chassis in camry. Just under the front suspension. You will need to get this replaced to stop the noise. It’s about 5k in Ladipo |

Lets assume for a moment that there were 52 major looters How many are already in Court? How many have been convicted and jailed? How many are on their way to jail? Seriously, I dnt blame this government. Nigerian Law is so week that it’s just too sure for a rich man to walk away from justice anytime. It’s so bad that a case can take as long as 2 generations.
