Later people will understand that the step the Federal Government is taking on this matter is to fast track the cause of the agitators, because as at now the plans of agitator are still going as been planed. 1. It's common knowledge that Zuma didnt do any maintenance on Eskom infrastructure during his 9 years in power and the two big ones that were built have mechanical faults due to shady contracts. Instead Zuma relied on expensive diesel emergency reserves to keep the lights on and maintain a pretence of stability while Eskom was being looted and collapsing. All of this is common knowledge, I don't know why u don't know it. That's why u shouldn't comment on SA matters, I don't comment on Nigerian politics on NL.

Now tell me why u expect Ramaphosa to fix all that rot in just 3 years, while the ANC itself is divided on how to resolve the problem and Zuma faction blocking any moves to restructuring and progress. This too is common knowledge that you are ignorant of.

2. Again I repeat, there was 350+ years of colonisation in SA, the negative effects will not be erased in just 27 years - of which 9 were lost during the Zuma years. So black families will be fixed - already a great majority are, instead SA would be a really disfunctional society, which it is not.

3. U may not live in Hillbrow but your mentality is stuck there crowded among drug dealers, Zimbabweans and Mozambicans. Intelligent and upwardly mobile black South Africans are in every space in SA, so I don't know why u say they are non existent or few and far between - that is a blatant lie my guy. South African universities - by far the best on the continent - churn out 1000s of black graduates every single year, with many more gaining admission (see attachments). The black middle class surpassed whites back in the 2000s (see attachments). So I reiterate again that you're moving in very dodgy circles comparable to Hillbrow and the CBD where u only find hustlers.

4. Namibia may offer a better service than SA, that's fine and congrats to them, we are very confident in who we are and never wish anyone else bad things. But I can bet u they don't bad mouth SA the same way a completely dysfunctional country like Nigeria does. U should ask yourself why that is. Time for "introspection" on your part.

Those have long lasting effects just like they would anywhere else on earth.

So do yourself a favour if you plan on living in SA longer - sensitise yourself to local history because I see you're lacking in that respect. And if you haven't met competent black South Africans before then u should re-evaluate the circles you hang around (probably Hillbrow, Yeoville, Berea). You should also ask yourself why successive Nigerian governments can never get one up over SA politically, if black South Africans are as pathetic as you wanna paint us.

Thanks for your concern over our future but there's no need - SA black governance has always been dogged by doom-sayers since the dawn of democracy and Day Zero has failed to materialise for the sceptics. So we'll be just fine, thank you very much.

Your first paragraph is just substantiation that Zuma's administration was just the so-called lost decade. I've already said he dropped the ball and therefore we're witnessing the effects all over. It will take time to repair 9nyears of destruction.

Before Zuma the SA economy more than tripled to heights of over $400 billion (the whites left it bankrupt btw) and at some point was growing at averages of 4-5% during Mbeki's term . That's why SA was invited to joins the BRICS and G20 because the future projections looked impressive. So issues like 4IR and electricity metres in Soweto were on the radar, but Zuma's so-called pro-poor policies (while he actually stole from the poor) meant a free for all in townships, bordering on anarchy. Today Eskom is restructuring and that too will be fixed just like SAA will soon fly again at a profit and not constant government bailouts/patronage. And all that will be done by a black government just like during the Mandela and Mbeki years that made SA a shining light in Africa.

So my point to you is to drop the afro-pessimism that you began with when I responded to u. It comes so naturally to Nigerians because u ruined your own country. That some South Africans drink on payday and do not report for work is such a minor problem I don't know why u brought it up, unless u own a tavern and hire drunkards. That's your fault. You should instead explain why u opt to hire undocumented Zimbabweans paying them sub-standard wages and their labour not reflecting for tax purposes. This might not be u but definitely the trend among Nigerian business owners who nonetheless enjoy free basic amenities paid for by hard-working South Africans who pay their taxes. Or am I lying?

I've been to SA many times, for every vice or bad habit that you can list of a black person, the whites have it and more, not only in SA but in Europe and America as well.
