Tinubu and Fashola's relationship transcends politics. Even if they disagree, they were always going to reconcile. What many thought was an exposition allegedly from Ambode to disparage Fashola was actually published by Fashola himself before he left office. The procurement issue and the data concerned had already been treated on nairaland few days before Fashola left office, but I guess we are a people of short memories. www.nairaland.com/2331840/top-10-dodgy- contracts-awarded |

The man is a liar and untrustworthy human being... And have we heard anything after clarification from Afriland? I am sure he realized he was wrongly advised. LSPDC officials should take the blame for that. Oga advice Fashola to reconcile with Jagaban and let's move on. Its all getting boring. |

aresa: What's this go to do with mine and the ones against him? Even Hitler get supporter so what's your point
Lying is telling Nigerians that Fashola took N50 million for a 50 year concession when in fact it was false as disputed by the firm involved.
The lying and dishonest man failed to disclose that Fashola secured a 38% stake in the venture which means many many more millions for Lagosians for 50 years after which the whole mall goes back to the people of Lagos.
The man is a coward and a lair..
1. When you intentionally steal or defraud, the last thing you want to do is put the info on a public website for the world to see and question..
2. Saying you spent this and that on anything is nothing because you are not establishing any wrong doing with facts and to do so means you have to fully disclose contract details and stipulations for us to judge.
3. The EFCC is there for him to take his case so of what relevance is his Internet rubbish if not just to rubbish.. Ambode hasn't accused Fashola of any wrongdoing. don't kill yourself because of any politician. As long as Fashola and Ambode remains in APC, they will eventually be reconciled. |

aresa: I'm not God, but he's not getting my vote or the votes of Nigerians in Lagos and on twitter demanding he return their votes.
Responsible and competent leaders don't lie and when they have facts and proof of wrong going, duty demands that they forward their evidence of wrong doing to law enforcement agencies for prosecution, not releasing lies and half truths on the internet just to play politics and destroy other people's image.
There's a clear difference between accountability and releasing false, misleading and worthless accusations on the internet.. What about the several twitter users condemning Fashola? How has Ambode lied? The information which you called lies and half truth are on the Lagos public procurement site and it was Fashola who gave the directive for that. Ambode has not accused Fashola of anything. It is Nigerians that are worried at the rate of inflated contracts on the site. |

Firefire: The contractor, Kayode Olowolafe was once arrested by EFCC.
His company was awarded about 70% of all Lagos contracts under Fasola administration with inflated costs...
What more can attest to the level of debt profile and mismanagement of public fund in Lagos ACN now APC?
Inflating project costs reign across all APC controlled states.
From Lagos to Osun
Ogun to Oyo
Edo to Kwara
1km road = 1.2 Billion Naira.
But why is Tinubu attacking his stooge ? So Tinubu is now the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency? Or you want a government agency not to disclose projects executed just because of an alleged rift. Fashola himself equipped and funded that agency for transparency. |

Yes The president can send but the national assembly is the one to make it a law.
In other words
The national assembly has the final say
Illiterate Has the President sent them a bill seeking to diversify the economy? No. Why? Because the government is not serious about diversifying the economy. The executive formulates policies. Dumb illiterate. |

Tell your elites in the national assembly to entrench True Federalism which is the fastest route to economic diversification.
Economic diversification will ensure that we have different source of generating dollars to keep the stream of dollar flowing into the reserve. Why can't the elite in the presidency send a proposed bill seeking to diversify the economy to the National Assembly? Isn't that part of what they are paid to do? If the mountain cannot go to Mohammed can't Mohammed go to the mountain? The Presidency can initiate that but it wouldn't because we have knuckle heads there. Bloody illiterate |

it is not the role of the executive to interpret the constitution. That is for the court of law. How the Nigerian Police suddenly turned itself to the judiciary should be a matter of concern to every patriotic Nigerian.
Secondly, Uche Ekwenife and some other Anambra legislators from APGA recently defected to the PDP and the Nigerian Police and Presidency kept quiet about it. When Mimiko decamped to the PDP, his State house of assembly members also followed suit without PDP or the Presidency challenging them.
Does it mean that the constitution only when it does not favour the PDP? |

Politics › Re: Why Jonathan Fired Emordi, Olagunju by patimore: 8:51am On Sep 21, 2013 |
Sincere 9gerian: Emordi did her best within the circumstance. She was neither responsible for the defeat of the PDP candidate for the position of speaker of house of reps nor in the creation of the illegal newPDP. There are interest on all sides and most of these interests CANNOT even be bought with money. For instance, who can out-spend the Amaechi in the ongoing battle? A northerner, may win one or two more disciples, but overall may not fair any better in that position under the same circumstance.
More like the far north are using blackmail, terror and dirty politics to win back many positions in govt, hitherto occupied by people from other parts of the country. They have since cornered the position of National Security Adviser because of Boko Haram. But even after they got that position, not much changed on ground. Boko Haram continued doing their thing.
Emordi may have been sacrificed so as to bring in someone that will not only perform what she currently does in the NASS but also bring to the table some political influence in his home state. More like killing two birds with one stone.
The Vanguard report this time is nothing but beer parlour gossips. I could have done a better job for them in analysing the situation.
Note: Emordi joined the GEJ govt through APGA, on the back of APGA support for GEJ in 2011 elections. Although she later defected back to PDP (she was formerly in PDP before she moved to APGA). So I dont know what she'll do next now. this one na biography |
